Fantastic location and clean. Highly excited to have an espresso machine! Great communication. Quite place to rest and sleep. Near the hiking we did. Could add fans for hot days when they occur.

This place is a gem! Collooney is quiet but very close to Sligo, and the local pub is just around the corner. Denise keeps some essentials like spices and oil in the kitchen, along with a full array of cookware. Lovely tea and coffee setup. It’s very clean and simple to check in and check out, I would recommend it to anyone!

We’d stay here again!

Great location close to the highway, yet in a quiet neighborhood and friendly town, this flat was immaculately clean and well-appointed. The mill race, waterfalls and river was an added bonus we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent 3 night weekend stay

We stayed for a weekend break to visit family nearby. Everything about the property was excellent. We had everything we needed and all of a very high standard. Nice and quiet area. We intend to stay again next year when making another visit.

Quiet location near Sligo city

Spacious and comfortable 2-level apartment below the falls overlooking the river. It was a short drive to Sligo city for shopping,pubs and restaurants.

Great quiet suburban townhome

This spotless townhome is tastefully appointed on the edge of a housing estate of many identical units. There is a quiet street on the hill above with a pub, but most amenities are a drive away. The beds were comfortable and the old mills was lovely.

Beautiful Collooney

This property was pristine, spacious and homey! The neighborhood is quiet. The property is 10 minutes outside of Sligo town. There are beaches, beautiful mountains and gorgeous landscapes in the area! We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful, quiet spot in charming village

Waterfall, bird song, and a short walk to two local pubs. Perfect! Worked very well for our group of 6 adults. Great hiking nearby and we found lots of good places to eat. Don't miss The Nook right up the street, and Cullen’s pub for a chance to have a pint with the locals. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Collooney (and this property) was just right

Solid, secure, clean, and comfortable 3br 2ba home just south of Sligo. Quiet, safe neighborhood with picturesque waterfall and spawning stairs less than 200 feet away. Top notch communications and customer service from the owner (not a rental company). All amenities to start you off and a well-stocked grocery store a short walk up the hill.Car rental just outside of town and Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) station stops in Collooney, as well. Highly recommend.

A lovely break

We stayed at the property for 8 nights. The house was very clean and had new quality fixtures, fittings, appliances etc. It was ideally suited for walking both coastal and hills and we can recommend both Shankhill and Union Hill for interesting walks. We also visited Ariana Mines which I can really recommend particularly if you get a very wet day. I can fully recommend this property for a trip to this beautiful area of Ireland.

town is very quiet lacks stores and restaurants. You would need to drive to Sligo other then driving the unit that we stayed in was over the top

Very nice vacation home near Sligo

We'd like to commend this vacation home. In general it served everything we were looking for. A swift and informative communication. A simple check-in and check-out. Very spacious rooms, which hosted us as a family of 5. Clean and new bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen incl. washing machine and laundry dryer. Smart TV with option to easily link up to Netflix & Co. Surely, it is a destination where we would recommend to have a rental car or similar to expore the surroundings of Collooney. But essentially the local store will also offer 90% of everything you'll need.Thanks again for hosting us.

Comfortable and Convenient

Just returned from a delightful week in Collooney. Owner is extremely polite and helpful; booking response was immediate. Directions to the stay and check in instructions were clear and thorough. Lovely clean home with comfortable furnishings along a river and falls. The location was perfect for accessing hiking trails and dining while avoiding the traffic and chaos of Sligo town.We can recommend Molly Fulton's just a couple of miles north for excellent food at good value. Connolly's Pub in Collooney is a fine choice for a good pint. A friendly, lively country pub a short walk from the house.Some very nice hikes and walks nearby, including the Benbulben Forest Walk. Highly recommend the hike to Carrowkeel, a quite mystical Neolithic site with the most remarkable views in the north of Ireland. Also, the hike up Knocknarea is extremely enjoyable.Only one thing missing: there was no option for making proper ground coffee in the house (there is a cartridge machine). We remedied that via a quick trip to the local hardware store, acquiring a small French press. We have donated that to the house for all you future ground coffee aficionados. Now the house is perfect.
