Sandy & Salty Beach Cottage is a brand new cottage just completed December 2022. It is 3 steps from the beach, located on the north side of the most beautiful part of the island of Spanish Wells. This is where you want to spend your next vacation!

At Sandy & Salty you can choose to either relax on the beach and enjoy a cocktail, or swim in the most pristine, crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean while watching the most beautiful sunset in the world. Some of the local famous attractions are the swimming pigs, feeding the turtles and the beautiful sand dollar beach. Spanish Wells is a small fishing village with a population of about 2000 people. The beach is always available and never crowded so you can feel like you're on your own private island. The waters around this Island are a fisherman's dream for things like bone-fishing, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, waterskiing, parasailing and much more. Once you stay at this paradise, you will want to keep coming back. So don't hesitate to give us a call and let us show you our hospitality!

The private beachside location is a short walk to the local grocery store and dining. Kayaks are also available for guests use during their stay.

A pack and play is also available upon request.

We are also able to make arrangements for your golf cart rental for your stay.

Excellent place for a quiet retreat.

Beautiful views and quiet beach. The owner is a wonderful hostess and is very thoughtful about your stay. If you wish to truly relax this is a wonderful place. We are grateful for the chance to experience the island’s culture.

Perfect Cottage at a Perfect Location

Wonderful new home at the perfect location in Spanish Wells. Torin and Joanne were great hosts and took care of every detail. The home has every amenity you need and sits just a few steps from the perfect white sand beach. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting and we will definitely be staying again.

Perfect Week

Sandy & Salty is a perfect place for 2 couples. The view is spectacular and the home has everything you need for a wonderful getaway. The location is close to everything!The beds are comfortable add the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed playing the games inside and loved the comfy Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges for the beach. Thank you JoAnne for making us feel at home!Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Location Perfect Place

Fishing trip with my son. Everything you could ask for. New construction, clean and very well stocked. Joanne is very nice and accommodating. We've been to Spanish Wells many times. This is definitely our favorite.

Unforgettable

Incredible view and beach access. The owner, Joanne, is so welcoming and helpful with recommendations and anything you need (golf cart, taxi, etc.). We took a ferry to Harbour Island for the day and were glad we had made the decision to stay on Spanish Wells. There were 4 adults (2 couples) and the room with twin beds were fine and easily converted to almost a king-size bed. We highly recommend this property!

A relaxing escape

We loved our stay! Sandy & Salty is a new, super clean home in a great location for incredible views! We enjoyed relaxing on floaties in the calm waters out front and walking on the sand bar that extends way out at low tide. There are also kayaks and sand toys to enjoy. The host Torin was very helpful with details and arranging our transportation. And we want to also thank the owner Joanne for being so lovely and accommodating to us! This is a special place. We can’t wait to come back!

The Perfect Stay

Truly the perfect location, house, and host. A beautiful house that fit our family of 4 just right. All the amenities you would want and need for a stay. Joanne was so accommodating and helpful - it feels like shes almost family. From the moment we arrived on the island, to the moment we left, communication was top notch. The beach in front of the house is world class. Simply breathtaking and perfect for families with little kids. Possibly the best location on the island. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Best cottage, best view on Spanish Wells!

This new and pretty cottage is loaded with charm and sea-side decor. It is extremely clean and well equipped with just about everything you will need. The location is perfect from a practical standpoint - walkable to best grocery store on the island and a few restaurants. And, it is beyond perfect for the view that is breath taking - a “million dollar” view with a walkable, sandy beach and a sandbar that is fun for all ages. It is also in a very nice and quiet location. Torin, the host, and the owner were responsive and so friendly. We truly enjoyed our week long retreat.

Best house on the beach!

This was our second trip to Spanish Wells. I was so excited to find this little gem! This is the best spot in the beach, and the house made it even better. Mornings on the porch were my favorite, comfortable furniture with the most beautiful view. The house is perfectly appointed with everything you’ll need from beach chairs, kayaks, floaties, plenty of nice linens and extra blankets! Joanne the owner was very helpful, she arranged our taxi and golf cart, and also helped us get back to the boat taxi to head home. Joanne has not missed a thing I’m making her home the best on Spanish Wells!!

Perfect Stay

If you're looking for a wonderful cottage/house on a white sand beach then it doesn't get any better than this. Everything about it was well done. From the location, layout, construction, decoration and everything else you need to enjoy all that Spanish Wells has to offer. My favorite location was the front porch which provided a great view for coffee and sunrise. Of course it all starts with the owner. Joanne made sure that everything was covered, from the moment we stepped off the plane in Eleuthera to the time we needed to leave. She even made sure to get us started with the best Johnny Cakes made on the island. This was our second time visiting Spanish Wells and as the title says it was a Perfect Stay.

Cutest Place in the Best Loacation!

Myself, my husband, and another couple that are our close friends rented Sandy and Salty for 4 nights. This was our first time in Spanish Wells. Joanne made it so easy for us by booking our taxi to and from the airport, picking us up at the ferry dock, and driving us to and from the cottage. Torin answered all of my questions prior to arrival and during our stay. This place has everything! Floats for the ocean, beach umbrella and chairs, beach towels, games, a comfy porch to sit and watch the ocean and a great stocked kitchen. We absolutely loved the decor of the cottage. After exploring the island I can say that we had the best location there! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. All the locals are also very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back to this hidden gem.

Everything you want in a beach front rental

As the title says. This property is located on a rarely used beautiful beach with 180 degree view. Unit is perfectly clean with all of kitchen and outdoor items you will need. Wonderful back porch to use if the weather is a slight bit off. Short rides to nicely stocked grocery store and several high quality restaurants. Owner very responsive to any questions or needs. Arranged for our travel to the boat dock from the airport as well as met us at the boat dock in Spanish Wells to take us to the unit. Also rented us a new golf cart for us to get around during our stay. Recommend this place highly.

Don’t hesitate…book this place !!!!

Our family of four just got back from our stay at Sandy & Salty and we highly recommend it! The house is brand new and very nice. It is well thought out and so pretty inside. If we weren’t on the beach or sleeping, we were on that deck!! Best part, the view doesn’t get old. We think the location is the perfect spot on the beach, and for store/restaurant proximity. The house has everything you need, everything! Joanne and Torin are excellent hosts. Taxis/ferries/golf cart all set up by them, it definitely takes a lot of stress out of traveling to an unfamiliar place. It was the perfect vacation and we didn’t want to leave! Thanks Joanne! Sandy and salty did not disappoint!!

From the second we stepped foot onto Spanish Wells, we felt welcomed.. the owner, Joanne, greeted us immediately, took our luggage and gave us the keys to our golf cart. We went directly to the house where Joanne gave us the tour and answered all of our questions. The house itself is new and clean… Joanne was just the right amount of attentive.. she showed up with a new grill to ensure we could cook out… and checked in on us briefly at least every other day. We LOVED our stay and no doubt, will be returning to this lovely island home. Thanks again Joanne!! Jen and Paul

Absolutely Perfect!

I can’t say enough good things about this property! Our family wanted to get away from it all. We haven’t had a real vacation in years. This was the perfect location to chill and get a fresh perspective on life. The house was brand new and super clean. Beautiful decor. Comfy beds. Washer, dryer, dishwasher. All the cookware and kitchen appliances we needed (we liked to eat at the house most days instead of going out). This property is walking distance to the grocery store but I would recommend getting a golf cart. The property owner was super nice and told us of the events going on and recommended some places to eat or order food from. We can’t wait to come back! 💖💖

Wonderful Stay

Sandy and Salty is beautiful. It’s a brand new house with a million dollar view. The house was clean and well stocked. It has everything you will need. After the first night, Joanne checked on us, and I mentioned the pillows were too fat. She went out the same day and bought new pillows and brought them to us. We really appreciated her attentiveness. We arrived on Christmas Day and she reached out to us to stock the house with groceries since the grocery store was closed. The house is in the best location, in my opinion. The view is incredible! Two minutes to the grocery store. Two minutes to Papa Scoops. It’s centrally located in Spanish Wells. Joanne really wanted to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and we were. We will definitely be back.
