Villa Aurabelle, Provencal villa with garden and pool in Vence,

Villa Aurabelle is a Provencal style house in a quiet residential area of Vence with total privacy (no other people on the property).
It is "away from everything" and close to (almost) everything at the same time.
The 4,000 m² property at the end of a private cul-de-sac opens to the south and southeast. It offers a panoramic view of the picturesque coastal landscape of the Côte d'Azur and the sea. Meadows around the house offer space for leisure activities and in summer the private pool with its underwater lighting provides refreshment. Parking for max. 3 cars are available. The house itself is fully equipped (including free internet via WiFi) and furnished in a provincial style with an open fireplace, tomette floors and antique components.

There are three bedrooms for a total of six people. One bedroom is separate with the attached bathroom.
The other two bedrooms are connected and accessible via the stairs in the living room. Therefore one of them is not closed from the living room. The toilet on the ground floor is separate. The toilet on the first floor is combined with the second bathroom.


Terms of Service:
A 25% deposit is required upon reservation. The remaining amount is due 30 days before arrival at the latest. The villa is fully equipped for up to 6 people.
The tenant is expected to take out damage insurance to cover any accident or damage on the premises. The owner assumes no responsibility.
The check-in and check-out is done by a local agency (with French and English speaking staff).
You will receive the contact details after a binding booking.

Small print:
We offer you the option of bringing your own household linen (bed linen and towels). Alternatively, you can order the linen from the service agency. The set costs €35 per person and, according to the service agency, includes bed linen, a large bath towel, 1 hand towel, a bath rug and a tea towel. You order the linen directly from the agency in good time before travelling.

The service agency will also arrange the handover of the house keys with you.

The costs for the consumption of electricity (0.25 €/kwh), water (3.31€/m³) and oil (according to purchase price) will be charged to you on site.

According to legal regulations, the pool must be secured to prevent accidents. Please cover the pool with the tarpaulin provided when not in use.

We spent 2 weeks in Villa Aurabelle and it was amazing. Amazing view, fantastic pool and a house with all that we needed. The hosts were really kind and the house was clean and ready for us when we arrived.

We had a great time in the villa. The kids loved the pool and the surrounding views were amazing. Markus, the property manager was very approachable and helpful as he made our check-in and check-out so smooth. Our only negative was that the road access to the villa was very narrow and steep.

Great villa, well equipped but……..

The location is spectacular, but the approach is a track with potholes and very narrow in places. It is quite remote and not close to any shops or cafes etc - a car is essential. The villa is extremely well equipped and the sitting room and dining room are very comfortable. However it is old and damp which can be seen on the walls in places - our clothes also felt damp on packing to leave. We were surprised to be charged for water and electricity on leaving as the info suggested that these were included. On querying this we were advised that the normal allowance was just EUR20.00 whereas we had used EUR68.00. We were a party of only 3 and were definitely not excessive users of either utility so beware if you are a larger party. Bed linen and towels are only suppled at a cost of EUR35 per person and EUR 10 per towel. These figures are not listed in the published info but add a great deal to one’s stay - we provided our own!

Sehr schön gelegene Villa in ruhiger Lage, die Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, tolle Aussicht. Die Gegend mit den kleinen bezaubernden Dörfern ist auch wunderschön. Wir haben einen tollen und vor allen Dingen ruhigen Urlaub gehabt. Wir haben den großzügigen Pool jeden Tag genutzt. Besonders geliebt habe ich das Frühstück unter dem Olivenbaum, das Haus und der Garten haben einfach ein ganz besonderes Ambiente. Sehr gut war auch die Betreuung vor Ort durch Markus, der sofort geholfen hat, wenn es Probleme gab. Immer wieder gerne kommen wir zurück in dieses traumhafte Haus und diese wunderschöne Gegend.

Wunderschönes Haus, Garten und Ausblick

Wir waren leider nur wenige Tage in Südfrankreich, haben den Urlaub und das Ferienhaus aber sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr nett eingerichtet und hat eine schöne Aufteilung. Bäder und Küche sind klasse. Der Ausblick ist wunderschön auf die Berge und im Hintergrund auf das Meer. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum entspannten ein. Gute Kommunikation mit dem lokalen Ansprechpartner, sehr hilfreich. Gerne wieder!Einzig die Anfahrt ist spannend.

Die Villa, der Garten, der Pool sowie der Ausblick sind unglaublich schön, man möchte eigentlich gar nicht mehr weg! Die Beschreibungen und Bilder passen sehr genau! Einen herzlichen Dank an das Ehepaar Büttner, dass sie ihr „Kleinod“ mit uns geteilt haben und an Markus der uns eine unkomplizierte Anreise ermöglicht hat und seine Hilfe jederzeit angeboten hat.

Schöne Aussicht

Aufgrund des Wetters Dez/Jan haben wir ordentlich die Heizung an gehabt. Abends vor dem Kamin wurde es dann sehr gemütlich. Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist wirklich steil, aber selbst bei Regen gut machbar.

Wunderschönes Haus mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Vence, Nizza, viele andere Orte und die Küste sind schnell erreichbar. Der Ausblick ist einzigartig, die Ausstattung des Hauses hochwertig, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist ein großer Grill, eine Waschmaschine sowie hochwertige Liegen und Auflagen vorhanden. Der Weg ist etwas schwierig zu fahren, aber das ist in südlichen Ländern normal. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank an die Eigentümer und Markus Umlauf für die sehr angenehme Kommunikation und die Tipps.

Ruhe und Entspannung Pur

Ein Haus in das man sich Verlieben kann. Wenn man den nicht ganz einfachen Fahrweg hinter sich hat, wird man mit einen atemberaubenden Blick belohnt. Das Haus liegt ca 3 km von Vence in Hanglage am Ende einer Sackgasse und hat alles was man benötigt. Man sollte aber wissen, dass das zweite Schlafzimmer im Turm offen nach unten ist und das zweite kleine Zimmer angrenzend ist. Gerne wieder im Jahr 2024

Wieder wunderschön

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal in der schönen Villa Aurabelle und es war wie beim ersten Urlaub: alles bestens. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, kleine liebevolle Details fallen einem ins Auge. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Gesellschaftsspiele und eine große Anzahl an Büchern laden auch mal zu einem Abend im Hause ein. Der Garten und die nähere Umgebung sind einfach schön und natürlich. Haben u.a. einen schönen Spaziergang zu den Wasserfällen gemacht und den Aufstieg zum Baou des Noirs in Angriff genommen. Auch im Oktober kann man mal einen Nachmittag am Pool verbringen. Über die Alpes Maritimes und die Cote d'azur braucht man nicht viele Worte verlieren, hier gibt es auch nach Jahren immer noch wieder vieles neues zu entdecken. Der Kontakt mit der Agentur ist vollkommen problemlos und easy, vielen Dank an Markus für die vielen Infos. Alles in allem wieder ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt und wir kommen bestimmt gerne nochmal hierher.

Traurig aber war

Wir fanden den Aufenthalt in diesem Objekt für so viel Geld 💰 in keinster weise akzeptabel ! Ich habe 2 Tage geputzt … Geschirr gewaschen um einiger Maßen dort zu leben .. Danach sollte ich alles so hin stellen wie vor gesehen …. Hallo ein Stuhl oder eine Liege zu verstellen sollte wohl kein Problem sein .. die Betten waren eine Katastrophe…. Sie wurden nach Zusammenbruch mit Steinen repariert … Mein Rücken hat so geschmerzt … Die Auflagen auf der Terrasse und im Wintergarten waren sehr sehr schmutzig ..: Sonnenschirme ⛱ kaputt und dreckig … die Auffahrt sehr sehr schwierig , unsere Reifen und Felgen sind kaputt !! Es ist mit einem großen Auto 🚗 sehr schwer dort hin zu kommen … 2 Tage kein warmes Wasser zum duschen Herr Umlauf der Deutschen spricht wae erreichbar aber das war auch alles …. Der Garten war groß und der Pool auch Mega waren die Sonnen Aufgänge Aber mit einen Hund keine Spaziergänge möglich da alles eingezäunt ist … Auch zum Meer viel zu weit Alles in allen wer seine Ruhe haben will und nichts unternehmen will … dann dort Aber selbst nach Vence mit einem gr Auto 🚗 zum Bäcker oder Fleischer eine Herausforderung Wie werden mit Sicherheit nie nie wieder dort hin fahren Sehr schade ☹️

Lovely stay !

The house is lovely and the vies is simply stunning! The access to the house via a small country road might seem difficult at the beginning but we got used pretty fast and there is no difficulty to get there. Markus is very kind, supportive and extremely helpfull. We enjoyed our stay and have spend a wonderful vacation. Thank you!

Belle villa/ belle vue

La villa bénéficie d’une superbe vue mais son accès reste très difficile. Elle est très en hauteur avec un chemin quasi à la verticale et des virages très serrés. Prévoir la bonne voiture pour se déplacer et y accéder. Sinon, villa fonctionnelle, piscine, grand terrain.

So beautiful and amazing views

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The pool was perfect with a great view. The yard was full of flowers and plants and the feel of summer so great. The house very special and we loved it - good bathrooms and well-stocked and easy kitchen. Quality all around. Happy with everything and would stay again. Some mosquitos, but with lights and the nets where able to keep the worst away. Also a narrow road leading to house, but manageble by car. We warmly recommend house and thank you for a great stay. Wunderbar erholsam

Traumhaft

Wir haben hier 2 herrliche Urlaubswochen verbracht und wie immer die Landschaft, Natur und das mediterrane Flair bei herrlichem Wetter genossen. Seit über 15 Jahren verbringen wir unseren Urlaub hier in der Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur und entdecken doch jedes Jahr immer wieder vieles neues. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Der große Garten ist fantastisch und der Ausblick über die Region grandios. Auch am Pool kann man im Oktober noch herrlich entspannen und Abends zu Fuß eine Runde durch den Naturpark drehen. Unsere 2 Wochen waren wie immer viel zu schnell vorbei und wir werden mit Sicherheit hier wieder unsere Zeit verbringen. Der Check-In und Check-Out waren vollkommen unproblematisch, die Agentur vor Ort jederzeit erreichbar und sehr, sehr freundlich. Einen lieben Dank auch an unsere Gastgeber, die uns den Aufenthalt in diesem wirklich schönen Ambiente ermöglichten.
