The condo was perfect for our family- the heated pool and hot tub even in December was a wonderful surprise. The view from the balcony was beautiful and a great place to watch the sunset if not on the beach. Golf cart was a great way to get over to Baytown Warf. Highly recommend this condo! And commutation with the owner was easy and responses were quick. The couple of extra beach chairs helped too.

We’re sorry the stay did not meet your expectations. The property is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to each arrival. During the stay, when additional pillowcases were requested, we responded immediately and came by right away to assist. No further issues were reported to us after that visit. Regarding the golf cart, no concerns about the steering or brakes were reported to us during the stay. Guest safety is extremely important to us. While the cart retains its original Club Car body style, ownership chose to complete an extensive overhaul and upgrade, replacing and updating the mechanical components throughout the cart. Had any safety concern been reported during the stay, we would have immediately inspected and addressed it. The photo of the exterior screen reflects damage caused by a previous guest walking through the screen. The HOA is responsible for the exterior balcony and screen repairs, and the replacement has already been ordered. The additional photo shown is simply a toilet paper holder that appears slightly pulled away from the wall. This is not a neglected condo. The property is actively maintained, regularly updated, professionally cleaned, and cared for by both ownership and management. While we understand every guest may have different expectations, we do not feel this review accurately reflects the condition of the property, the responsiveness provided during the stay, or the experience of the many guests who have enjoyed this home.

This property was great. A short walk to the private beach with a large swimming pool and bar/grill on property. Having the golf cart was the cherry on top. It provided a fun way to take the kids to Baytown resort and explore all the different shops, restaurants, and kids games. Highly recommend.

Great Week!

We haven’t been to the area in a decade and it is way more popular than we remember. The condo was in great condition and plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean with a good view and everything worked fine. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings. The pool was also perfect with easy access to the beach.

Everything was great with the room except for the microwave oven didn’t work and it would have been nice if it was furnished with more than 1 trash bag, 1 roll of toilet paper, and 1 roll of paper towel. Everything else was great.

This unit was nicely updated and has plenty of room and storage for a two bedroom. Master has a large closet with shelves in the bathroom. Second bathroom has two different, separate sink areas outside of toilet/shower room for getting ready. Spacious kitchen. Decent view of water. Gated parking deck- never an issue to find parking spot. Although there’s a disclaimer it may not be available, the golf cart made this stay amazing!!! There’s much to access, easier using golf cart across the tunnel into Baytowne community. Would stay here again.

Too many required texts and/or picture submissions for pre-reservation, at check in AND again at checkout. Having stayed with others in this same area, this was extremely different. Golf cart was extremely slow and did not have working headlights. They expect all trash to be removed (which is expected) but give you 2 trash sacks for a weeks stay…so you can keep their property clean. Washer unit left rust stains all over clothes when we used it. No hair dryer provided. The amenities to this condo was not consistent to others….less value for your money with this one.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. The golf cart photos are only required for guests who choose to use the complimentary golf cart. They are not required if a guest decides not to use it. The before-and-after photos simply document the condition of the cart and help protect both our guests and our property from being held responsible for damage they did not cause. During your stay, we sent our standard check-in text after your first night to make sure everything was going well. Had you contacted us about the golf cart, we could have explained that the headlights are operated by the switch on the steering wheel and that the numbered selector (1, 2, and 3) controls the speed settings. Setting 1 travels approximately 16 mph, while setting 3 reaches about 27 mph. For guest safety, we recommend using the lowest speed setting. Our listing also clearly states that we provide a starter supply of household items, not an unlimited supply for the duration of a stay. This is standard practice for vacation rentals. Regarding the hair dryer, our listing does not advertise one. However, there was a hair dryer available in the middle bathroom for guest use. We're disappointed these concerns were not brought to our attention during your stay, as we would have been happy to help.

This is our 3rd time staying at Westwinds but first time staying in this unit. It’s ok, but not as nice or comfortable as the other units we have stayed in.Pros: Condo is very spacious with a lot of windows and natural light. The host had good communication and responded to any questions quickly. Nice, updated kitchen. AC works well.Cons: The golf cart is a safety hazard and shouldn’t even be advertised as part of the listing. It’s falling apart, drives like a shopping cart, doesn’t have a safety bar in the back, and the seatbelts are so rusted they can’t even be used. This was disappointing because we have young kids and were specifically looking for condos that came with a golf cart we could ride around the resort in. I did let the host know about the seatbelts which she said she would have replaced.Couches in the living room are worn with stains and uncomfortable. No bath mats in either bathroom which would have been nice. The twin beds in the 2nd bedroom are squeaky and unsteady - Fine for our kids, but I don’t think an adult could sleep comfortably in them.

Regarding the golf cart, the listing photos accurately show the golf cart that is provided with the property. The rear safety bar you mentioned is not shown or advertised as a feature. When you notified us that the seatbelts had become worn, we immediately ordered replacement seatbelts, as guest safety is always a priority. Regarding the twin beds, we have hosted many groups with adults using the twin bedroom without issue. Comfort is subjective, but we appreciate you sharing your experience and will take your comments into consideration as we continue updating the home. We are continually investing in this property, and new living room couches are already on order and expected to arrive in mid-August as part of our ongoing improvements. Beautiful property

Condo was clean and beautifully decorated. Check in was easy and smooth. The only disappointment was being assured we had access to the resort tram service when we reserved this condo but upon arrival told we no longer had use of the tram to get around the property. My adult sons had no transportation to the Baytown wharf area and were stuck at the resort. That was very unexpected and not part of the plan. Make sure you have a rental car if you don't want to be stuck.
