About this property
Mountain View near Toccoa River
Located in the heart of The Aska Adventure Area, this cabin offers and ideal basecamp... peaceful seclusion on a natural sanctuary, while offering close proximity to the best of the area's outdoor adventures, shopping, dining, art galleries in Blue Ridge and Ellijay; or beautiful views from the area's many wineries and orchards.
Situated on 12 private acres and directly facing 50 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest, Aska Stargazer provides abundant space to stretch out, relax, and immerse yourself in the rejuvenating natural surroundings. Take a walk in the Appalachian Temperate Rainforest from your front door!
Enjoy gorgeous mountain views from a two-story deck, a treehouse-like screened porch with a gas fire pit, a rocking chair front porch overlooking the Chattahoochee National Forest, fully equipped kitchen, a new (2025) Weber gas grill, a Nordic Sport Jet hot tub, wood burning fireplace, games, and music.
After a long day on the river or playing outside, unwind in the living room with an expansive wall of windows overlooking the view, a wood-burning fireplace, 55-inch Roku Smart TV, a telescope for skywatching on clear nights, and a record player with a selection of records.
We have complimentary high speed internet as well. The Roku Smart TV's are set up in guest mode. Bring your sign in information for your favorite streaming services. No need to sign out when you leave; guest mode automatically signs out at the end of your stay.
New in 2025, we have added a selection of small workout equipment for your enjoyment. Yoga mats, small dumbbells, kettle bells, bands, a pilates ring, foam roller, and ab wheel are stored in the living room. The coffee table easily rolls out of the way, making it easy to enjoy a workout from the best view in the house, or you can take your workout outside to the deck!
There is a half bath off the upstairs living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, appliances, serving dishes and utensils. We have supplied just about everything we could think of to make it easy to whip up a feast. New in 2025: a 12" Cast Iron Skillet, and an electric griddle.
For coffee enthusiasts, we have a drip style coffee maker, a Keurig, and a French Press.
After whipping up a feast, gather around the dining table that comfortably seats six and bar seating for two, or eat under the stars on the patio table.
The lower-level bonus room is where the fun begins! It includes a 65" Roku Smart TV, ample seating, a wet bar with a mini-fridge and Keurig, a lighted shuffleboard table. There is also a music corner to expand your entertainment options if you are musically inclined: a Donner electric weighted-key piano and guitelele (small-sized guitar).
Escape for the night to one of three bedrooms.
The main level king bedroom includes a reading nook and ensuite bathroom with jetted soaker tub, separate shower, and French doors that open to the upper deck.
The lower level has two bedrooms and one bathroom. One guest room has a custom king-sized laurel canopy bed with string lights, and the other has two sets of Twin XL sized bunk beds (4 total beds) the kids or even adults will love.

Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms.we saw deer every day. Beautiful and relaxing. We would definitely recommend. In fact, this was our second visit to this property.
Lovely Mountain top home. The road is a challenge and directions as well. The home is lovely but the screened porch .front and back decks needed to be blowoff and cared for. We could not use the screened porch it was covered in dust and pollen. I had to clean the chairs on deck to be able to use them. Trash still in trash cans outside. I expect a property to be cared for before we arrive. It was expensive for our expectations.
This beautiful home was exactly what we were looking for for a quiet get-away that was still close to activities we wanted to do. Had a wonderful stay!
We experienced this wonderful cabin back in February but you know how life does you at times...like the kids say "life be lifing"..lololol. Well Anyhoo, this cabin is nothing short of gorgeous. We stayed here to celebrate our birthdays and we couldn't have asked for a better cabin nor a better host. Jennifer was awesome. Being from city life and venturing into the mountains, we didn't know what to expect. However, Jennifer was our olive branch. As we traveled, we lost cell coverage, but Jennifer texted us the remaining directions up to the cabin right before we lost coverage and what a huge help that was. And in the directions, she gave land marks which were pivotal navigating up the mountains. The cabin had everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully. It was clean; the beds slept comfortably. It's a beautiful place. You would not want to leave and you won't be disappointed. Blue Ridge is a beautiful, restful place. We enjoyed the restaurants, having conversations with the locals, exploring downtown, the beautiful waterfalls, and stores that we needed were close by in driving distance to the cabin. We truly enjoyed our stayed and can't wait to come back.
Cabin was exactly as described. I loved how nicely it was decorated and it felt comfortable like you were home. I appreciate the directions that were emailed as the GPS said we'd reached our destination when we hadn't yet. Beautiful house, great views, had everything we were looking for.
Book the trip! What a cozy cabin! The views are great. The hot tub and game room were the perfect additions to our relaxing getaway. We had such a great time here. Thank you!
Wonder views and beautiful home! Looking for Tranquility and Serenity then you will enjoy this home. Loved the screened in porch area with gas fire pit! Thank you for a much need recharge!
This property was very clean and well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The cabin is very comfortable. The hot tub was very clean and functioned well. The hosts were very prompt when the entry keypad failed. The situation was corrected in just a few minutes. We would definitely recommend this property and would rent it again.
We loved this property. Beautiful, well maintained, had everything we could possible need and more. We didnt have to contact the host however they let us know that they were always on standby if needed which was greatly appreciated. We would absolutely recommend staying here and will come back again! We loved the area and everything the cabin had to offer!
We had a great stay at Aska Star Gazer. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils, and the hot tub had fresh clean water in it. Thanks for a very nice stay!
This cozy home provides everything you need for an exceptional getaway. Every moment of our stay was wonderful. The property is impeccably clean and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We were so pleased with this cabin! It is very roomy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is also secluded on top of a mountain with gorgeous views!
Thank you for being a great guest and for taking excellent care of the cabin during your stay, and please come back soon. Like you, one of the things we love most about the cabin is the peaceful, natural setting that provides a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
