This cozy, year-round cottage has beautiful views of Owasco Lake and is the perfect home base while you explore the Finger Lakes region. On your days off from exploring, take out the two kayaks or rent a pontoon at the marina, spend the day on the water and come home to air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has wifi, a smartv, games and books to pass the time on a rainy day. Perfect place for a small family to spend a vacation!

The cottage is cozy with all of the amenities of home. Kitchen is fully equipped with gas range and dishwasher. Washer/Dryer are conveniently located right off the kitchen. There is an outdoor patio with gas grill, picnic table and rocking chairs to enjoy the lake view. Launch the kayaks from the shore and enjoy the lake up close and personal!

This cottage is part of a shared community with a common lawn and lake front. The cottage is just steps away from Drifters on Owasco and the Southshore Marina. It is a 20 min drive to the city of Auburn, 30 min drive to the Village of Skaneateles, 30 min drive to SUNY Cortland, 40 min drive to Cornell University and 45 min drive to Ithaca College. Enjoy hiking, wineries in the heart of the Finger Lakes.

Amber was an excellent host, the property was clean and comfortable, we initially had an issue with the heating system due to the excessively cold weather, but this was swiftly resolved and we were soon warm and cosy!The cottage has a lovely view over Owasco lake, nice furnishings, comfortable beds and all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Amber had even kindly left us a delicious bottle of local wine.We would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lucky Stars cottage on Lake Owasco! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Beautiful lake views / sunrises, and Amber always responded quickly to any questions we had. The location was good for exploring the Finger Lakes and we even went to the NY State Fair. Affordable stay on the lake! The cottage was spacious for our family of 4 and had everything we needed, including laundry and kayaks and a dock! We rented a boat at the next door marina, and did lots of paddling on the lake. Hosts gave many details and instructions and were responsive to questions.

Just had a lovely few days at Lucky Stars. Accommodation was perfect for us. Comfortable and Great Lake views. We enjoyed using the canoes and fishing from the dock. Lovely days out locally. A perfect rest after New York and Niagara Falls.

Family time at the lake

This was the perfect place for my Son and I to visit with our family and friends while enjoying everything the lake life has to offer! The cabin is quaint and very accommodating, well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances and the washer dryer was a definite plus. Lake view was great and the house was clean. The host was super friendly and accommodating and communicated very well.definitely will be back and recommend it.

Beautiful, peaceful getaway!!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Between being right on the lake, with beautiful sunrises and stargazing, along with the cozy, clean cottage and proximity to wineries and hikes, we had a lovely time. The weather was a bit cold and rainy at times, but we got windows of sun and beautiful fall scenery. Thanks for making it such a pleasant place to stay :)

Great for small family!

Great little property. Neat, clean and tidy. Bedrooms and bath are very small but common area was great for a family of 6. Common area outside was very welcoming by a few of the all summer owners. Our 2 year old niece had a great time playing with one family’s outside toys (with permission of course).

Stayed 4 nights with my husband and 2 young adult daughters. Great cottage with ample space to lounge and play games. Had all our kitchen needs. Amazing view of the lake sitting in the living room or outside. Bathroom was very tiny as described, but able to have hot showers! I grew up in Massachusetts and had no idea how breathtakingly beautiful the finger lakes area is. My only recommendation is for a couple of stand up fans to help with sleeping in the 2 bedrooms without window a/c units.

Cute cottage...serene setting!

This property was just as advertised, and the property host was easy to work with and very responsive. We loved just "kicking back" and unwinding as we enjoyed the view of the lake. We had a nice fire one evening and we loved looking at the stars while we enjoyed our time together. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for what we needed. The town was about 7 minutes down the road where we were able to pick up some groceries. One heads up, the bathroom and shower are rather tiny, but it was fine for what we needed. All in all, this property is a nice place to just get away whether with somebody else or even by yourself. Thank for an enjoyable, relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Wonderful Owasco Lake House...

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at this adorable lake house called "Lucky Stars". Our host, Amber, was very helpful and attentive to every detail. The main focus of this stay was fishing for trout on Owasco Lake with my brother (and we caught some nice ones). The cottage is fresh, super clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. I loved the new dock for tying up our 20 foot boat, the new gas grill and stamped concrete patio to relax and enjoy the scenic view of the lake. I was completely satisfied and would recommend this cottage to anyone interested in a comfortable place to spend some fun time on Owasco Lake and surrounding area. Also worth mentioning is the large "common area" lawn that is level and an easy walk down to the dock (no stairs). One evening we strolled over to "Drifters" restaurant for dinner after a long day of fishing on the lake. I won't hesitate to stay here again for some relaxing and recreational boating!

Absolutely Wonderful!

The cottage was exactly as pictured. So charming. Super neat & clean. Was equipped with everything I needed for my stay. Wonderful view of the lake. Quiet neighborhood. A short walk to the marina & a restaurant (which is now closed.) I stayed downstairs , since it was only me, and the bed was comfy. Amber went out of her way, placing fresh flowers in the kitchen & on the dining table - plus, leaving a bottle of local wine & note for me to enjoy. Neighbors had a bonfire one night. I had morning coffee on the patio, and sat out in the sun to read. It was a productive & relaxing trip. Didn't use the tv once! Hoping to return with my husband & family. Thanks Amber & Peter! This cottage is cozy and adorable! It's a great home away from home for a short or long stay. It's fully stocked with just about anything you could need to make a great meal while away from home! If you find something is missing, let me know so I can fix that! We wanted to have a property on one of the finger lakes for our family to use but also to be able to offer to others so they too can enjoy this great area!

What makes this property unique

The views from this cottage are so relaxing! It's situated at the South end of Owasco Lake and from the living room you can see birds gracefully flying against the hillsides with beautiful blue water underneath them. This property is within walking distance to a great restaurant, Drifters (lots of Gluten free options), and is a perfect place from which to launch to spend time on the water or off, exploring the finger lakes region.
