Summary:

Our 8 stylish cabins are designed for adventurers and relaxation seekers alike, with the amenities and style of a modern cabin. Emerald Bay Village, located right at the “Y” in South Lake Tahoe, puts our guests within walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. Emerald Bay Village’s location cannot be beaten. You’ll be just a 5-minute drive from Heavenly Village, casinos, and the heart of South Lake Tahoe.



The Space:

This spacious cabin has 3 bedrooms with a large kitchen fully stocked with everything you need for a weekend getaway with friends and family. This cabin has a fireplace in the living area that’s perfect to enjoy with the crew while watching your favorite movie.



Please note that our cabin only has central heating and no AC. Evenings typically cool down enough to open up windows and help air out the home.



Guest Access:

Last-minute and same-day bookings are welcome as check-in instructions will automatically be sent at booking confirmation.



The Neighborhood:

There's a large grass field, basketball court, and full playground for kids just a minute's walk from our property.



Other Things to Note:

The unit doesn't have A/C, but there are ceiling fans.



We do not accept pets.



Early check-ins are available per request for a small $85 fee! Ask for availability first!



Late check-outs will be charged an additional $85.

Ski trip to Heavenly with the family. The place is 15- 20 minutes from Heavenly and 15 minutes to the village at S. Lake Tahoe. Walkable to a pizza place and coffee shop. There is a place across the street to rent skis (I did not know this before booking and rented somewhere else). The space itself is super comfortable and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this cabin over Christmas with our family and truly enjoyed our time there. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and just what we needed to celebrate the holidays together. It was nicely furnished and well stocked with the necessities, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing.We did notice upon check-in that there were several dead mice present, which we understand can sometimes happen in cabin settings. It would have been helpful if this had been taken care of prior to our arrival, but it did not take away from our overall enjoyment of the space.Overall, it was a lovely place to spend the holidays, and we appreciated the warmth and comfort the cabin provided.

We were 4 senior citizens and enjoyed our stay. The house was well located, with a comfortable outside gathering spot. Everything we could need was provided for us.

Extremely nice stay for us and our adult kids, everyone had their own bedroom. The unit was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked (coffee maker is a K-cup style for when you hit the grocery store). The beds and linens were quite nice, everyone slept well, and we loved that there was a ceiling fan in each bedroom. We used the fireplace on a chilly evening and that was cozy. The only things I would add are a fourth chair for use at the table (whether it be for dining or games/puzzles), and nightlights and in the bathrooms. I'd choose this place again if we're ever back out in Tahoe!

Tahoe Respite

We had a wonderful 4 night stay for our girl's trip. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The location was perfect making it easy to explore the area and enjoy the activities we had planned. Our host was fantastic and easy to communicate with . This made the whole experience stress free. The only minor down-side was street noise but it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment. We would happily return!

Spacious and comfortable property. Easy to access. Very convenient for our family trip (four adults, one child). Well appointed bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. Cute cabin!

Nice location and super cute, well equipped, and clean cabin. We would stay here again. Only minor issue is the proximity to the road in the cabin where we stayed. Very attentive host.

Great cabin

Great cabin with modern updates inside. We visited in July 2024 for the 4th of July. It was locationed near restaurants and a grocery store. It was a warm week the cabin had no ac but the host quickly gave us additional fans for the livingroom to help circulate the air. The beds are comfortable and rooms are well decorated. Kitchen provided everything we need for our 3 night stay.

Lovely unit.

We had a lovely stay in this unit. It was stocked very well and had a great location that was fairly central to getting around South Lake. One of the bedroom walls was connected to another unit so we did hear some light noise in the evenings from other guests but overall it was just what we were looking for.

Check-in was easy, the facility was in a nice location, the cabin is nicely furnished, comfortable, & quiet. The "host" stayed in touch via email in case we needed anything (we did not, however appreciate the effort to make certain all was good). The restaurant recommendations ahead of time were very helpful and greatly appreciated. Communication at the time of the reservation, just prior to our travel, during our stay, and in preparation for checkout were all helpful and made our stay really seamless. The only non-positives were: the kitchen window was not locked upon arrival & was difficult to lock, the small step up to the room with the king bed should have an edge marker as it is a tripping hazard (no falls, but the potential exists), and the vent/hood over the stove needs a good cleaning. These are easy things to take care of and would not affect us returning or recommending this venue to others.Overall, it was a great stay and we will return in the future.

Beautiful house in a very convenient location

The place is very beautiful with nice bedrooms with TV and Roku/Netflix on each of those TVs in addition to the TV in the living room. The beds were nicely done. The bathrooms were very clean and fresh linens. The house is equipped with a big modern kitchen and adequate utensils. Parking right in front of the unit makes it super easy. Plenty of dining options nearby. I'll certainly look forward to stay in this place in future.
