Ideally located, State Street Secret is a charming one bedroom, one bath, ground level apartment and can comfortably accommodate up to two Lucky guests. Just off of Columbia Square, you’ll be a short walk to Savannah’s best dining, shopping, and nightlife venues. Guests won’t have to sacrifice a single comfort, convenience, or amenity at the generously sized apartment.

The living area has been renovated to have an open layout, allowing you to see through to the kitchen. You’ll have a two comfortable sofas to relax on while enjoying the flat screen TV in the fireplace. A half wall separates the living area from dining area, which has a spacious table with seating for six, and an extended granite countertop that connects to the adjacent kitchen. You’ll have plenty of counter space and everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal during your stay. In the back of the home is a breakfast nook where you can comfortably plan out your day.

Each night you’ll come back to a massive king-sized bed to relax and unplug in, with a luxurious ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower.

Just down the street is the Davenport House Museum. Completed circa 1820 by Isaiah Davenport and threatened with demolition in 1955, the home was saved by a group of community-spirited citizens, marking the beginning of Savannah’s historic preservation movement. A short walk to Broughton Street will put you on the path to the heart of Savannah’s shopping and dining, including local favorites; Leopold’s Ice Cream, The Pink House, and many more to name!

Great location in the Historical District. Everything you want is walkable. Tybee Island is a great day at the beach. Many state parks to hiking and seeing wildlife. Oysters were great.

The property was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean, and the check-out process was much easier than most properties we have stayed in. The property is across the street from one of the Hop-On-Hop-Off Trolley stops, which is very convenient. If you buy your trolley ticket online, you can hop on at this stop by showing the code on your phone. My only advice when staying here is that there is a shallow step down into the bedroom, which is hard to notice because the tile makes it almost invisible. I stumbled on it a few times before my husband placed something at the edge to remind me of it. We enjoyed staying here very much and would choose it again when we visit Savannah in future.

This apartment was perfect! Clean and comfortable! Located at an historic square and just a few blocks walk to the Riverwalk and all the activity and excitement of Broughton Street. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in Savannah. Fell in love with the place upon arrival. It was very clean, neat, and had a pleasant odor in the apartment. My greatest complaint was the lighting. While it had lots of natural light, my vision is not the best in recent years and I have a need for overhead lights for chosing clothing, finding items and reading. The bedroom has only lamps that cast shadows, and the only overhead is in the kitchen but it's recessed and still not enough light to prepare meals. We did utilize the cooking and only dined out 3 meals, so I was able to use the items there for that. I could find no stopper for the sink to wash dishes if I wanted to and no dish drain for them either. The hostess was very kind and out of sight for the most part. The location to the historic area was fabulous. I would recommend this place highly.

Loved staying here. So roomy. Fast WiFi. Big bedroom and very comfortable bed. Kitchen gas every thing you needed. I used the washer and dryer which was great. Walking distance was perfect to every place you would want to go. 5 minutes to river with all the stores and restaurants. 3 minutes to Broughton again with stores and restaurants. Walked to the Olde Pink House Restaurant. Great restaurant almost across the street called 17 Hundred 90 which was delicious. Highly recommend. Parking spot right behind apartment. It was absolutely lovely and you can’t go wrong renting. I highly recommend if you want a nice, clean, roomy, walking distance place to stay in historic Savannah.

The location of this rental was superb. Everything was within a reasonable walk and we didn’t have to use our car at all to see the historic district. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The bed was clean and comfortable. The living room didn’t have a rug, as was shown in the photo, which made it seem cold. The furniture was just ok, not super comfortable, and there was a musty smell. The bedroom of the apartment was dark and the shower needs a refresh. Overall it was fine because we weren’t there most of the day. It was a good value for the location, but not exactly as portrayed in the photos.

Great location with easy access to the historic district. The property is much darker than it appears in the pictures and a bit musty. It was really nice to have a designated parking spot in the back.

Nice place

Super clise to everything, we walked all over town and didn't need a car. It was just two of us so it worked fine. Our only complaints were low ceilings and the couch wasn't comfortable. We would definitely go again.

Spring Getaway

We had a beautiful weekend at State Street Secret. The location and accommodations were just perfect. My favorite part was being right at Columbia Square and spending some wonderful moments just enjoying the beauty around us, both natural beauty and the incredible Savannah architecture. Also loved how walkable everything was. Great vacation and accommodations!
