Vacation in Tucson the way Arizonians live, nestled in the northwest side of town, this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home offers indoor/outdoor living, a large back yard with a private pool and a relaxing covered patio space facing the West mountains offering picturesque sunsets every night. Great location to all Tucson has to offer. Close to I-10 offering 15 minute trip to Downtown, located under 10 minutes to some of Tucson's finest golf courses; Tucson National Golf Course, Crooked Tree Golf Course, and Top Golf!

Between each stay in our home, our home is professionally cleaned and there are precautions being taken to mitigate the spread of coronavirus.

We hope you will enjoy your stay here, as it would be hard not to! This is a single level 3 bedroom home, w/ 2 bathrooms, each bathroom offering a shower. This vacation home can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. You will find plush shower towels as well as beach towels for use at the private pool.

Enjoy indoor out door living, unwind at the end of the day in a stylish living room transitioning to a covered patio hang out with a dinning table for six and a day bed to lay back and enjoy a sunset with a drink or a friend. All furniture besides the inside kitchen table brand new as of Winter 2022 including the plush living room rug that is a dream to walk on. The living room is equipped with a 65 inch flat screen Roku smart TV w/ an Xfintiy streaming box offering Peacock Premium Live TV.

Each bedroom has brand new mattresses for a good night's rest while on vacation, master bedroom offering a king mattress, and two other bedrooms; one with a queen mattress and one with two twin XL mattresses.

In the kitchen you will find fully stocked cabinets with stylish and sturdy dishware, a full pot and pan set, strainer, cutting boards, knifes, wine opener and more. As well as a toaster and a coffee machine with coffee and creamer in cabinet above the sink. You will find a PUR water filter in the fridge as well. And of course wine glasses!

About us...
My wife Jennifer and I hold Tucson very close to our hearts, we are originally from Washington State and we started out our young adult life here together back in 2013. We truly believe Tucson is a hidden gem full of entertainment, sunshine, culture and most importantly great diverse restaurants. We have traveled since the day we were married and we know how important it is to have a comfortable and relaxing place to stay while on vacation and have kept that in mind as we furnished and equipped this home. We hope you find it special just like we do.

*** The pool does NOT have a heater *** It is serviced every Thursday by a professional company, so do not be alarmed during your stay on Thursdays when they come to clean. Please keep in mind, Tucson does get windy and debris will likely fall into pool, there is a skimmer in easy access for your use if wanted, it is treated and skimmed professionally every week and also uses a 24/7 roaming pool vacuum.
Please note, no floating devices are provided at this time at this property.

There are 2 cameras on the outside of the property as we like to keep an eye on the property when the home is vacant, the two cameras on the property are recording 24/7 audio/video, one by the front door and one monitoring the pool, the pool area camera is used strictly to monitor cleanliness of the pool (especially during Monsoon season), there are no other cameras in or around the house. I do not monitor the cameras regularly so if you need to get ahold of the host, please reach out.

Also please keep in mind Tucson is a Desert, we recommend not walking on the rocks in the back yard barefoot.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Please make sure everything is turned off and remember NOT to lock the door knob of the front door, as well as DO NOT lock the security gate. Please notify host as soon as you have checked out.
Please take your bagged trash out to the large garbage can when you check out.Please roll the large garbage can found at the front of house to the street every SUNDAY(pick up is early Tuesday morning)
Please start the dishwasher on the sanitize dishwasher setting before you leave. The cleaners will put the dishes away and make sure all patio furniture is back where it was when you arrived.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Do not lock security gate when leaving the house as there is no code to unlock it, and please DO NOT LOCK the security door when you check out.
Please do not have thermostat set any lower than 70, the unit can freeze in the desert heat if overworked and will require servicing.
Please do not unplug, tamper, or alter in any way the wifi router, security system hub connected to the wifi or any other devices used in the home.

Gem in Tucson

This was an unplanned trip due to a family emergency. Booking, check in and stay were fantastic! Especially since it was a holiday weekend. Older home that that been nicely updated. Home was clean, well appointed & inviting. The pool offered a wonderful respite from our situation. Beds were super comfy too! Highly recommend!

Loved our stay in Tucson! The house was perfect for our family of 5. House was very very clean. Nicely decorated. Neighborhood was nice. House was in a quiet cul-de-sac. Great place, great location !

We had a wonderful stay! Location was great, close to grocery stores, plenty of places to order food from, seconds from the freeway, located in a quiet clean neighborhood. The pool was crystal clear and the water was nice and cool for the Arizona heat! There was plenty of parking in the spacious driveway and covered carport. The inside of the home was clean and inviting, kitchen was stocked with essentials needed to have a homecooked meal. The hosts were very accommodating to our arriving a couple hours early. The house rules were very reasonable and clearly presented, Definitely a great stay, we were very satisfied with our time spent here.

Just as described…

Check in was super easy, the house was lovely, and pool was cold! lol. I knew the pool wasn’t heated, so it’s not a complaint - I just underestimated how cold it would be. I still swam though - the pool is really deep, which was a nice surprise. The backyard is great & it would be perfect if a grill was available. The neighborhood is fine - there’s a grocery store right down the street, along with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Quiet neighborhood - updated home

Clean, updated home in a quiet residential neighborhood, freeway close. I was in town for work for the Gem Show and this home was a good price for how close it was to all the shows. It’s an older place that’s been completely refurbished. While it’s not luxury, it’s decorated very nicely and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay (the towels & linens were terrific and the kitchen was well appointed). I would stay here again. The only improvement I would suggest is to add a couple more lamps/better lighting in the dining/living room - the mood lighting was nice but I needed a bit more for my work in the evening. The directions for the residence were also helpful - but like others have pointed out, there are no street lights and it’s really DARK when the sun sets, so try to have your phone flashlight handy when checking in. Overall, a good experience and would recommend to others.

Pool House

I find it very helpful to give reviews on properties that we have stayed at. When we find a place we would like to stay, the first thing I read is the reviews. So here is ours from this property that we stayed at for 2 weeks. Upon arriving in the neighborhood we were a little worried. It felt a little sketchy, but after a few days it was just fine. The property was close to shopping and restaurants. The home itself was clean. We were unable to use the pool, but that was mother natures fault. The neighborhood seemed to have many dogs, so we heard a lot of barking. The heat/ac unit were right above the master bedroom, so it took us a few days to get used to the noise it made when it kicked in. The shower in the master bath didn’t seem to get warm, fortunately the shower in the other bathroom had nice hot water. Our overall stay was just fine. We wanted to be in Oro Valley and that was why we chose this property.
