Cozy, private, ranch cabin in the beautiful East Kootenay's

Enjoy an escape onto a private ranch in the Bull River. Relax into our cozy guest cabin with incredible views of bull mountain. Enjoy watching horses and elk graze from the private back patio. This special spot is private and quiet while still being close to all the amenities. 40 minutes from Fernie and Fernie Alpine Resort with world class mountain biking and skiing and 30 minutes outside of Cranbrook, this spot is your base camp to all the mountain adventure you could dream of. The ranch is located along the Kootenay river. Hunting, fishing, site seeing and even guided horse rides right from the front step. The cabin is timber frame built, full kitchen, bathroom, wifi, comfortable queen bed and pull out sofa bed, on leash furry friends also welcome!
The ranch offers guided horse back riding with our horses or an opportunity for you to bring your own horses with a full pasture for them to graze.

Check in was extremely easy, directions were easy to follow. Cabin was so peaceful with all the amenities you could need. Loved having our morning coffee and breakfast on the patio and our daily visits with Chico the dog and fluffy kitty. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was nice, property was beautiful. We arrived and found we had no hot water to shower or do dishes, no cutlery and lots of house flies not sure why. Host was not available at the time im sure if she was it possibly would be different.

The title is accurate. “Cozy, private ranch cabin.” We loved our stay! This was a far superior option to staying somewhere else like a hotel or lodge. The property is beautiful and the owners are super nice. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The sunsets were beautiful and the mountains are an incredible backdrop. I hope to be back for my next BC fishing trip. 5/5!

I terrific location on a ranch in the Rocky Mountain Trench at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains! We particularly enjoyed seeing the animals and the hosts were very friend!

Cute Cabin, Beautiful Scenery

Very cute, clean, and functional cabin with beautiful scenery to take in while lounging on the back patio by the wood fire stove. Nearby river and trout hatchery with a tourist centre are nice to visit. Cranbrook is just down the highway if you need anything as well. Very friendly hosts and horses on site if that interests you. We had a very lovely stay!

Wonderful little spot

The cabin is very comfortable, roomy, well laid out and equipped. Great shower & kitchen. The pictures on the website are great, but the cabin itself is greater. The hosts, Simone & Dan, were very friendly and helpful. The animals around the ranch were spectacular, as is the setting. Highly recommended.

Skiing at Fernie

Cozy and beautiful cabin on a rural property near Bull river. We stayed 4 nights while skiing at Fernie (65 km, 30-40 min drive), it was a quiet and peaceful place to stay. Dan and Simone were friendly and helpful. I had trouble making it up the icy driveway in my front wheel drive car, but after Dan plowed and sanded, there was no trouble. We loved our stay, hopefully we’ll be back next year!
