Had a great time, we loved our stay. Very nice place to relax and unwind. Sat by the fire and looked at the beautiful sky with all the stars. Played pool and dart and watched movies. a couple good movies.
The house is clean, and provides a fun reprieve from the desert. When beed a break from exploring and the sun, enjoy pool/darts and a great record collection. It is a bit no frills, but comfortable and star gazing by the fire was great!
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Hartsville! This eclectic cabin retreat is so cool. The decor has all the right vibes and the added touches like body soap, shampoo, bottled water and light snacks was a nice touch! The property and views were out of this world! Mireille was wonderful to communicate with! She was so responsive and helpful. We would definitely love to stay again!!

The property is very secluded, back against the mountains.
Quiet is an understatement.

Our host is an Angel, and very helpful.

About the host
Hosted by Scott and Mireille Hartsfield
We grew up in the city and are native Californians. We found each other then found this gem out in the desert. We decided to open up our home so that others can experience the delights the desert offers.
Why they chose this property
This is our getaway from reality! We used to visit Giant Rock as kids and ride motorcycles through the desert. It was always a good time and a great place to be. Being out in the desert air, hiking though the National Park, and finding old abandoned mines and trails with plenty of surprises.
What makes this property unique
We love this property because it sits up on the mountain of 5 acres of land with incredible views. The property is warm, inviting and comfortable. There's plenty of area to hike including down in the wash, and up to the other side of the mountain to the top.
At night the breeze picks up and is the most wonderful feeling. It's incredible the amount of stars that come out. Truly spectacular.
It's far enough from the city, yet a 2 hour drive to L.A. However, you will feel like you are in a different world.
