We really enjoyed this cute house. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which is a plus!Living room was nice to all sit together and talk smart. Lol. So convenient to downtown to enjoy all the shops, food from a bunch of the local restaurants and great bar conversations with locals
This was our second time to this property with friends booking the first time. That should tell you how much we enjoy this property! The only issue of note was hot water did not last long enough with 6 adults taking showers in the morning. You just need to space these out. I would recommend this location to anyone coming to enjoy the area! We will be back. :)
Best of all the rentals we have experienced when we've visited Bardstown. Great location! We really appreciated all the updates - everything was clean and new, perfect for our party of three couples. We will definitely book this property again!!
Very nice house! Great location for easy walking access to Bardstown restaurants and attractions. Easy driving access to the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail.
The location was perfect! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the upstairs balcony to relax after a day of bourbon tours. The location to downtown was great to go to the different shops and restaurants. The guide in the house had great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Thanks so much for a great stay!
Historical home that has been beautifully updated! Very clean & plenty of supplies. Loved how we could walk to restaurants, shops & bars. The owner did a great job communicating with us
Beautiful home right in downtown Bardstown. We loved the access of walking to area stores/restaurants. Worked great for 3 couples meeting up. Parking is off the street was another plus to this home.
This was the perfect location in Bardstown! You're within walking distance of everything. The house has plenty of room and is a really cool old building. Will definitely stay here again!
We had a great stay - the host was lovely. We really liked the outside patio and balcony upstairs- so nice!! And the property is so convenient to downtown - we walked to dinner most nights. Lovely stay!!
Such a great property. Convenient to all things In downtown Bardstown by walking. House had history, but yet comforts of 21st century. Will definitely be back when we get to Bardstown again.
We are three couples from across the country who had the Bourbon Trail on our lists of places we haven’t yet visited. We found this house to be perfect for us. Great location in the heart of Bardstown. The house is clean, spacious and well supplied.
We highly recommend this property and would stay there again.
This house is beautiful and perfect for a group of friends traveling together. The owner is very nice and responsive to requests for info. The house is located within in walking distance of several restaurants and cute shops in downtown Bardstown. It is also an easy drive to several other sites in Louisville, Frankfurt and the surrounding areas. I have stayed here twice and will stay again on my next visit to Bardstown!
We had a great stay here. They did a great job renovating and still left a lot of the character of the house. It was close to everything and very clean. The only downside was it was a bit noisy with the traffic at night but we used our white noise app on our phone and that helped. Thank you for a great stay.
Beautifully staged home!!! Perfectly placed within walking distance to restaurants, close drive for several distilleries. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!!! Our only recommendation would be to have some larger cookware to prepare dinner for 6 folks, and a broom.
What a wonderful discovery this home was. Beautifully restored 1800s home in a fantastic location. The home was a combination of modern updates with original painted plank floors. Extremely warm and welcoming. It was well-equipped with everything you would need just like being in your own home. You can't beat the location. It is a very short walk to the visitor's center, dining, and the main shopping street. Every distillery is within a short drive if you are there for bourbon tours. If you are looking for comfort and charm, then this is the place to stay. It was very cold while we were there, but there is a nicely shaded patio at ground level and a deck off of one of the bedrooms on the second floor.I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area and would recommend it as an easy first choice for anyone visiting Bardstown. The hostess was very friendly and easy to contact before, during, and after our stay.
The house was perfect for 3 couples visiting the area for 4 days. Could walk to restaurants etc. We enjoyed 2 nights at the Stephen Foster outdoor theater
But…the house sits on the corner with stop light of a main highway. Very very loud for sleeping.
Really liked the location. The remodel of the space was exceptionally done, great for several people. Our group ended up being smaller than planned so we had more than enough space. Yes, you can hear cars on the road out front as others have stated but it really wasn't an issue for us. We were aware in advance and just ignored it.
Beautiful home only a block from the city center! Walked to restaurants & though beautiful Bardstown neighborhoods.. On a noisy street but didn’t bother us at all! This house had everything we needed & more! Definitely will recommend to family & friends! Hope to visit again! Thanks Kim for everything
You will love this centrally located historic home in downtown Bardstown. Within easy walking distance of extraordinary restaurant options.
The house is super clean and well appointed. The decor is fresh and the kitchen has all the necessary housewares if you decide to "stay in" for supper. There is some traffic noise but a white noise app on your cell phone easily neutralizes any outside noises.
We stayed at the house with a group of friends while doing the Bourbon Trail.
