About the host

Hosted by Stephanie English Strickland

Host profile image
We are Stephanie and Bruce, the husband-and-wife team behind our company, Six Three 8 Stays, and we manage this property for our wonderful client, Kinder. Together, we bring years of experience in hospitality, property management, and interior design to create stays that feel both luxurious and welcoming. Hosting isn’t just what we do—it’s what we love. For us, the greatest joy is helping guests create memories with family and friends in a space that feels curated just for them.

Why they chose this property

We chose Palm Desert because it blends timeless charm with modern luxury—PLUS, it is close to everything in the Coachella Vally area due to it’s central location! The home is located in one of the city’s historic, original neighborhoods, where the desert lifestyle first began to flourish. The area has a character you won’t find in newer developments—quiet streets, mature trees, and a sense of authenticity that makes you feel like you’re truly part of the desert. Best of all, Casa Santa Rosa is flanked by two open lots, which means guests enjoy rare privacy and serenity, even while being just minutes from El Paseo shopping, fine dining, golf, and outdoor adventure.

What makes this property unique

Casa Santa Rosa isn’t just another vacation rental—it’s a private retreat designed for comfort and connection. The villa offers a resort-style backyard with a sparkling pool, spa, fire pit, and multiple seating areas surrounded by lush greenery. Inside, every detail—from the designer furnishings to the thoughtful touches like welcome baskets and luxury toiletries—has been handpicked to make your stay special. Guests love the balance of convenience (walkable to El Paseo) and exclusive privacy, thanks to its unique location bordered by open lots. It’s that rare blend of luxury, space, and seclusion that sets Casa Santa Rosa apart.
