Side job in Bandon

We were working in Bandon and this was the perfect location for us. Very central to everything Bandon has to offer. The rooms were clean and updated. We would stay here again.

It's a room in a motel. This room literally couldn't have been stickier or dingier of it tried, which I guess is charming to some but having paid some higher peak season prices, I was hoping for more.

Beautiful Remodel

The Lamplighter Inn is an older hotel that has been remodeled as vacation rentals. Each room has a theme, such as turtle, octopus and shark. Our room was turtle, and the decorations were adorable. The room was very clean, supplied with plenty of toiletries and with a large adjustable tv. Most rooms on the coast do not have air conditioning, but ours came with a large window fan. Also of note, about a two minute walk away is a wonderful Mexican restaurant.

Not queens, fulls

I asked the host before booking if these beds are indeed queens. They lied and said they were. They’re not. They are fulls. Which made our over priced stay that much more uncomfortable. There’s zero counter space in the bathroom and all of the plumbing is old. Don’t shower when your neighbor is also showering. This is a barely upgraded motel. Wish I could get a refund honestly!

Turtle-y Cute!

We loved the turtle decor! My husband loved sitting outside to read in the cool of the morning. It was fairly quiet... as long as we kept the bathroom window closed. (We could hear the hwy traffic if it was open.) There were, however, a few things that could've been made better: 1. We found a used washcloth hanging from the showerhead when we arrived. 2. The remote for the TV wasn't working. 3. If we shut the bathroom door completely, it would stick shut. And we'd have quite the time trying to get out. Other than that, it was a fine place to stay!

Motel without the amenities.

Rooms a very small. 24 hour requests have to be made for any additional items. Communication is sourced out. Cleaning fee very high and a high service fee. Not worth the price. Felt ripped off.

Fun stay in Bandon

Our room, Turtle Bay Cove was spacious and adorable. Nice big window that open s up, with screen and a privacy window in a nice bath that also opens for cross ventilation. Plenty of towels, soap, coffee etc was supplied for our 2 nights stay. Check in and out was a breeze and quite convenient. Location is spot on for easy access to Old Town Bandon and beaches. Also a fabulous drive up coffee shack with yummy food was just across the street. We will stay here again when we return. Thank you for a pleasant experience!!
