The property is great, right on the lake with several small watercrafts. The house itself is pretty good condition with some blemishes to the outside. Nothing major though. Still a great trip and great hosts, would book again!
This view was amazing! And the property was so spacious. There were so many things to do from kayaking and paddle boating and ping pong and more! There was ample seating for everyone and we all enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit. The lake was peaceful and we got to see swans. Things were decorated nicely and when we spoke with the owner he was very accommodating. There were lots of pots and pans and plates and also towels so if you’re looking for things to do and you don’t want to pack a ton of stuff this is a great retreat to hang out with friends and family.
Second time staying here. Host was polite, place was good overall. Lake is always great. House is a little older, but overall it's a great place to stay
The description of the house was accurate. It was large and comfortable. The host was accomodating by letting me change my vacation to the following week. There was a great view of the lake. The description on the gas grill should be modified stating that you need to bring your own gas tank. The hammock had a large hole in the middle which they replaced the day after we notified them. My main complaint was not having any hot water in the main house for three and 1/2 days. They had a handy man came the next day but still no hot water. A comment was made that the previous week they had a large party with no hot water issues. Tuesday, Michael's brother and a plumber came to look at problem. They went to the hardware store and purchased the necessary item.
Great weekend at the lake. We had no issues and would definitely come back. The pedal boat was great and so were the kayaks - we basically had a small navy out on the lake! The place is not fancy, but it worked for us.

Host was extremely nice and fast at replying to anything you needed for. The house could be cleaner and maybe up to date on somethings but the lake and fire pit were really nice and relaxing. :)
Overall this is a reallynice house. It needs a good deep cleaning and some landscaping but we had a great time. Fire pit is too small and nor deep enough. Still got a good fire going. Planning another trip up there in the fall
The cleaning crew didn’t do a good job, we ended up washing our linens, mopping the floors and cleaning the bathrooms. We had a minor toilet water line leak and the hot tub needed cleaning. Our host was very responsive and had people out promptly to deal with the water line and the hot tub. All in all it was a good rental. The property could use some tender love and care, some typical maintenance items that could use some fixing. Everything worked, kayaks and dock are good. WiFi is good, temperature control was good, major appliances were good, washer and dryer are small but serviceable.
The house was nice with a wonderful dock to enjoy the lake. The guest house has a nice game room and plenty of beds with a nice view from the second floor. The host was great AB's vet responsive.
Great location; close to shopping, skiing, casino, ice fishing. Kitchen had everything we needed. Firepit, hot tub and lakefront setting were enjoyed by our friends and family.
We enjoyed our stay and Michael was very quick to respond throughout our trip. We had an issue with the hot tub and a lack of hot water in one of the showers. Overall we had a great vacation and we would stay here again.

The communication & check in was good. The location is very nice, with Sunset Lake right in the backyard. The kayaks & paddle boat were in working condition & there were oars & lifejackets. The house needs major TLC. It looks clean but when you actually stay there for several nights, you realize how desperately it needs a deep clean. The tub was dirty with hair in it, the overhead fans have about 2 years worth of dust on the blades. Couch has a wire sticking out which scratched us. We had 3 kids under the age of 6 & it was not baby or kid proof. The "guest house" kitchenette had 1 solitary wine glass & it was dirty with liquid residue & had a bug in it. No plates, no other drinkware, only 1 fork & 1 spoon thrown haphazardly in a drawer. The top bunk is missing several slats which caused the mattress to fall thru. The beds were comfortable but one of them was made with a flat sheet instead of fitted so we woke up in a tangle of sheets. The air hockey table wobbles back & forth, the Foos Ball table blocks the entry way & there is not enough room for where they have the ping pong table to play a game. Adequate number of bath towels but no wash cloths & only 1 hand towel. No kitchen towels, not enough paper towels. When we got there, the outdoor trash cans had been pillaged by an animal. Cleaning crew should have cleaned it up prior to our arrival (we paid 79 for early check in). It has great potential but really needs better management & oversight.
Lovely outdoor area and the lake was beautiful. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for my family. It has the potential to be very good. However, the house was not well maintained. Many things were broken or not working properly. Leaking roof, malfunctioning hot tub, very little hot water, broken air hockey and more. It also was just not very clean.
