Wonderful getaway

Family getaway to visit Susanna Ga. And the house was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the great views and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommended to anyone coming to the area.

Excellent retreat for 3 Families

We consisted of 8 people from 3 different families and the entire house rental was a perfect option for us. Each unit was comfortable and well furnished and offered every comfort of home.The various decks and chairs offered relaxing views of winding water and flocks of birds flying over the saw grass. It was a perfect place for visiting Savannah and getting away from the city.

Beautiful location, immaculately maintained with plenty of room for our group. The three separate units were perfect for our family reunion. This is a modern, clean, updated home with large appliances, an oversized deck and gorgeous views. This place is a dream!

Peaceful Family Retreat

Our extended family spent Christmas and New Year on this beautiful property. We especially loved the fact that there are separate units which allowed us to spend time together while at the same time maintaining a certain degree of separation when needed. The fact that the restaurant was right next door was also very helpful.

Family Spring Break Getaway!groc

The property is simply beautiful. Lots of windows, sliding doors to see the sun rise and set. The property sits next to a seafood restaurant with amazing hosts, waiters, waitresses, owners and COOKS! The property is only a few miles from I-95, grocery stores and one of my favorite past times-shopping! Everyone had a wonderful time, the teens did not want to leave.....

Beautiful Property, better than the photos! Danna total blessing! Clean, relaxing get-a-away! Somewhat secluded but opens to a vivid setting with beautiful lake view with moss-hung trees! Accommodating your needs, clear instructions, with supplies and furnishing! Clean and felt very safe. We just chilled and played games!

Wonderful Get-Away

Visited with a group of five couples and we rented the whole property. Everything was just as pictured in the ads and there were no surprises. The hostess was very nice, easily accessible, gave us lots of info regarding the locale and places to go (we were too lazy, just stayed and enjoyed the amenities on sight) and we had a lovely visit.. The place was scrupulously clean, well appointed and, clearly, the hostess put a lot of thought and effort into the details to make the property comfortable and beautiful. Definitely recommend this property and this hostess. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect for us!

This was a beautiful home. We were here for a wedding in Savannah. I wanted my whole family to be able to stay together and the larger homes close to the venue were so expensive! The beds and furniture were comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well stoked and clean. And, OH THE VIEW! The sunrise every morning was amazing! This is a very remote area but it was worth the extra drive to not be in Savannah! The only thing that could make it better would be a pool! 😉 I just wish we could have stayed longer! Also, a yummy restaurant right next door!

Wedding getaway

We came into town for a friends daughters wedding in Savannah. We chose here although, 40 mins away from the venue, because everything closer didn’t look as nice. The home was perfect from the views to the evenings enjoyed on the back porch. We had a party of 10, but 4 different families, so the separate living areas were nice to be able to get away when/if desired. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, some were even saying it’s the best sleep they’d had in a long time. Would definitely stay here again. Loved everything about it!

A little piece of HEAVEN

Mrs. Dana's property is absolutely stunning! The pictures are as described, however the property is much more beautiful. My family did not want to leave. The host provides just about everything except for small personal items that you'd bring for any trip. The location is quiet and comfortable. The lower levels were exceedingly accommodating for my husband and I, as I am handicapped and everything worked perfectly for me. If you want a nice getaway for your family to bond and make precious memories please do yourself a favor and stay at this property. 10/10 I would definitely stay again!

Family Get Away with breathtaking views

This property was perfect for our 4 gerneration family. 3 separate living quarters gave our family the flexibility of being together during the day and at night having some downtime on our own. Super clean and updated beautifully. Dana is a true pro and knows how to manage a property. Everything in the listing description is true. The nextdoor restaurant, Sunbury Crab Company, has wonderful food and drinks. Like Dana states in her write up, make sure to make reservations at least 2 days in advance. This property is a little remote in location but overall the home is worth the drive. The sunrises will take your breath away.

Perfect in every way!

The property as a whole is so pretty.. from the view to the deck to each area of the house. There are three units with a total of 6 bedrooms. The entire top floor is one unit with a master bedroom with bathroom, the second and third rooms have a shared bathroom. The view from two of the top floor rooms looks over the water and is so pretty! The bottom floorn 2 bedroom two bathroom unit is to the left and has its own entrance and back door. The third until is a one bedroom one bath with its own entrance and back door. Each unit has a full kitchen, livingroom, dining, washer and dryer. The property was greatt for our kids. We never felt onto of eachother and one night we were all on the top floor eating and playing games. There is a fire pit on the deck which was perfect for the cold nights. Overall we had a fabulous time. The town is small but we came to relax. There are a few nature walks and museums near by. We also went to tybee island which is about 45 mins away and savannah which is about the same. I would highly recommend.

Quiet Getaway

Myself, my mother and my sisters/sisters-in-law, we’re all looking for a good place to have a girls weekend. Initially we were looking to stay in Savannah, but came across this place. I love that it’s divided into three separate units, but can all be rented out at the same time. Dana was very friendly and accommodating, granting us an early check in and following through on a later checkout time when the day came. She was communicative and ensured we had a way to contact her or her husband if needed. In addition, her neighbors at the property were friendly, advising us on places to dine and inquiring about our stay upon our departure. The deck and view was absolutely beautiful, very quiet, we even saw a few dolphins our first evening there. Nice, spacious and clean units. If you aren’t used to country living or a little seclusion it may be a bit different for you. There’s a restaurant next door and a few stores/fast food restaurants about 15 or so minutes out. To get to the bigger chains/restaurants you’re going to need to take about a 40 or so minute drive. We were able to have Instacart deliver groceries from Publix, so that was awesome. We loved the quiet so things worked out well for us. Dana has a gem on her hands with this property!

Great property

We loved our stay at Sunbury. Right next door to a great seafood restaurant and beautiful views from the porch. We had a peacock that visited our front yard every morning. We rented all three units in the house and it worked out well.

Great family getaway

This place is wonderful! We were attending a family reunion in Savannah and enjoyed our family time and our little oasis when we had down time. The view of the river is so relaxing! This hidden treasure is wonderful! Updated and clean! We will definitely come back!

Georgia coastal charm

I highly recommend this property. The online pictures of the property is exactly what you get. My guests and I were very pleased with our stay. Loved the coastal vibes sitting on the deck looking out on the water was so relaxing and calming. I have nothing negative to say about this property. I would suggest in the shower/tub a grab handle for getting in and out of the tub.

My stay at Sunbury was amazing the views overlooking the river was very peaceful the house is nice.

Overall this is the best Vrbo property I have stayed in. Mrs. Mullins really has the vacation rental down to an amazing science. Awesome property, awesome property manager, awesome home decor I could go on and on. Me and my family were very pleased and plan to visit there again soon. Mrs. Mullins is the ultimate property host. She could do a training on how vacation rentals need to be handled. Awesome experience.
