Wonderful view and super secluded feeling but close enough to town for dinner or a grocery run. The hot tub was and fire pit were super cozy. Perfect location for a simple weekend away for 2 siblings, our spouses, and our two dogs.
The Lazy Bear Cabin was cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy a secluded stay in nature, enjoy home cooking, bonfires and even a bear passing through one afternoon. The ease of check-in, check-out, communication with management company about the process, the digital guidebook and access to discounted attractions made this our most enjoyable stay in the area so far!
The cabin is situated with wonderful views and it is very private. The shuffleboard game downstairs, was so much fun. The cabin was newly built and had all the comforts, any person would want.

We're so glad you had such a great time! We also love how secluded the cabin feels while also being close enough to enjoy all the local attractions!
This cabin was EXACTLY what we were looking for. It’s beautiful inside and out! Very comfortable and cozy and conveniently located with just a short drive to either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Definitely our go to the next time we visit!

We're so happy to hear you had such a great time! We love that cabin's location for that reason! It feels so cozy and secluded yet is still so close to the fun in the area! Thank you for the great review score!
This property was exactly what we were looking for. We looked at many cabins and we loved how this one was private from others/neighbors. Very clean and a great experience. The tickets for the events in the area were a great extra perk .

We're so happy to hear you had such a wonderful stay! We'll pass along the cleaning compliments! We do also love our relationship with Xplorie to help provide those tickets to our guests! Thank you for the great review!
This was a great stay! Although….. there weren’t enough utensils for dinner….. and the shuffle board discs were broken…. And the string game on the porch was broken….. but other than that- we enjoyed our time in this cabin!

We're so happy to hear everything at the cabin was almost perfect. We were unaware silverware was missing as we had a full set at the cabin. We'll get that restocked. We've already ordered the needed pieces for the games and hopefully will get them up and running again soon. Thank you for your review!
What a beautiful cabin in a beautiful, secluded property. We enjoyed using the fire pit, hot tub, and shuffleboard. We ate at the outdoor dining table. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessities. The location is great, situated away from the busier parts of town, but within a reasonable driving distance from everything. The cabin is clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. Our entire family enjoyed this property. It was perfect for us! We look forward to renting this home again in the future!
We bring our family to Pigeon Forge every year and found this cabin for our spring visit. Now we won't stay anywhere else! Everything was new and well stocked in the kitchen. The beds and pillows and blankets were so cozy. And once we found it during check-in, we appreciated how private it was. Our kids loved playing shuffleboard and all the games provided. And we enjoyed coffee with a great view each morning, and the hot tub each night after full days of sight-seeing. This was a great find!
We appreciated the peace and quiet. It was a little worrisome driving up to the cabin on the private road due to the elevation on a gravel road, but we got there fine. We noticed that the living room A/C kept leaking condensation so we had a bucket to catch the water. The kids loved the hot tub and the games. Pretty easy 15 minute drive to most of the stuff we wanted to do.

We're so glad to hear you had such a wonderful time! The condensation is due to the AC trying to keep up with the heat. We are trying to make sure we have some counters, but it's been a hot summer. We're happy that you enjoyed the location as well! Thank you for the comments!
We loved the privacy and bring tucked away. We brought a car and a truck. Both vehicles did fine. Winter thought you need 4 wheel drive. So quiet and peaceful. We will stay again. We are 4 hours away and have season passes to Dollywood and come 5 to 10, maybe more, times per year. Definitely one of our favorites now. My only issue was the mattresses were super hard.

We're glad to hear your stay was good overall! We've already discussed these issues with our cleaning team and the rest to the owners. We apologize that our team missed the dog mess from our previous tenants. Thank you for the comments!
My new Mercedes got stuck in driveway because of improperly laid gravel. Cost me $325 to have my car towed out. We had to leave because we could not park at property. We received no refund from owner. I recommend not to stay there

We're sorry to see this review. The gravel hasn't caused problems for the guests who came before or after your stay. Hopefully it was a one time thing! You did not stay with us at all and then cancelled your stay. We tried our best to help with the situation best we can given the circumstances.

Cute Cabin
The cabin was very cute and in a great location! We did things in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, both were a short drive away. Seemed to be close to everything.
Positives: Location, views, provided linens and towels, good WIFI, games, and amenities!
Cons: Listed as a 3 bedroom but it is only a 2 bedroom. Not enough silverware and some food had been left in cabinets including honey that had made a mess. There was dog hair and the smell of pet urine when we first arrived. The hot tub took overnight to warm up and it was not clean. The driveway to the cabin was a little tough to navigate, especially turning around.

We're so glad to hear you had a great time overall! In our listing we do say three beds are available. VRBO lists it as a bedroom, but the listing does say specifics on that. We would have also loved to have heard from you day one about the cleaning issues you faced. We would have sent out cleaning team back out there straight away! We never want a guest dealing with issues like that during their stay! Never hesitate to contact the host in the future about these issues! Thank you for the review!
This cabin is secluded from all the hustle and bustle.
The cabin is newly built smells like fresh wood.
The firepit was nice to set around while having a glass of wine.
The jacuzzi was nice after a long day out with all the excursions. The cabin has all your needs as in utensils, cups, dishes, etc.
the game room is really nice as well.
The only con if it’s a con- this cabin is really high in the mountains- so, the drive up to the cabin is a bit of a challenge. And there is a gravel trail so becareful when walking down to cabin.
The wrap around porch is really nice to take in all the mountain air.
I recommend this cabin to everyone- I Will definitely network this cabin to my family and friends -
The host surprised me with a fan/ you know I need that white noise :) THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!! I will definitely be making another reservation ..
You will not be disappointed RESERVE AND ENJOY

Misleading Vrbo listing, construction debris everywhere
The house itself was clean and comfortable on the inside, however Vrbo stated it was 3 bedrooms, which was a requirement for us. But apparently this oversight was my fault because I didn't dig deeper into the property description to dissect the details. Guests who expected their own bedroom were forced to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. Outside of that, I wasn't a fan of the piles of construction debris littering the property...sections of broken railing laying in the path to the door. I wish I could attach the pictures I have. Lastly, the parking area is almost impossible to turn around in. If you have a large pickup you will have to back out of the long narrow gravel road to get out of there.

We're so sorry hearing your stay wasn't to your expectations. Our listing does read that there are two beds in rooms and a sofa-bed. We never heard about any concerns or issues during your stay, only after asking for us to rectify the situation. We try to provide as much detail as we can for our property including pictures, long descriptions, and a guidebook sent before the stay. We would have loved to address any concerns if they came up during your stay to make it more pleasant! Please feel free to reach out when you first see things to the host in the future.
Great views, privacy, amenities. Updated and very nice. They supplied everything we needed minus dish soap.
Wifi didn't work, bed was broken, trash was not taken out.
We had a great stay. The owners were very responsive before and during our stay.
I loved that it felt peaceful and quiet, but was only 20 minutes into Pigeon Forge.
The house was clean, beds were comfortable and house had pretty much everything you need. I would recommend either overhead fans for the outside deck, or more dining seats for inside. Unfortunately, while we were there the temps were extremely high. It was too uncomfortable to eat outside.
The views were incredible and the location was very private and quiet. It allowed us to enjoy our weekend away from the children and reconnect. The game room and kitchen was a huge plus so we could have a nice meal on the back porch overlooking the view.
