Delightful Nantucket style beach house, close to beach with ocean view of beautiful Pierpont Beach. Sand dunes, and beach walkers paradise.

Classic two story beach house with kitchen, living room and balcony on the second floor - with views all around. You will love the large private back yard and garden! House is light and bright. Great location on a quiet lane by Ventura's beautiful Pierpont beach. Two bedrooms and a bath upstairs (KING SIZE BED and two twins) with vaulted ceilings, large balcony and wood floors. There is a spacious family room/third bedroom suite downstairs (QUEEN SIZE BED & queen sleeper sofa) with walk-in closet and second bathroom with shower. Old fashioned charm updated with amenities including WiFi, internet, cable TV. On arrival you will find fresh linens with beds made.

The open plan kitchen with gas stove is fun to cook in while staying part of the conversation in the living room, or just enjoy the views. Sunbathe and take in the sunset on the balcony. Kids, or adults, have their own space downstairs in the family room, where they can watch TV or play games. There is a LARGE BACK YARD with a lawn, picnic table, couch swing, BBQ and a fire pit for a bonfire. There is a beach shower in the yard with hot water to enjoy when you come back from swimming or surfing at the beach.

Restaurants and shopping center are a five minute walk to Seaward Avenue. If you are looking for the town scene, Main Street is 5 minutes away and offers everything from shopping, restaurants, theaters, music and beer and wine tasting, spas and coffee houses.

Our home is best suited for vacations, business travelers, couples and small families.

Some people say this special neighborhood, known as Pierpont beach, is like going back in time. It definitely has a lot of old time charm, it's quiet, and it can't be beat for a walkable and bikeable neighborhood, with many attractions nearby.

Cozy beach cottage

Great stay! Second floor has view if ocean and tree tops. Lovely to watch the all the birds including lots of hummingbirds flit about. Fabulous back yard to hang and wash off before heading in. Well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

A Peaceful Week in the Pierpont

Cozy, clean and convenient, this beach house has a very private backyard and a lovely view of the ocean from the 2nd floor balcony. Our group of four adults was very comfortable and the location was perfect for visiting my friends and family.

Location, location

Two of the best parts of this rental are it’s balcony and very short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Lots of beach toys in the garage, along with briquettes for the barbecue. This is a great place for families.

It was wonderful. I had my dog and this house is about a mile away from Marina Beach. It is a dog beach. Wonderful people and fun dogs. House has charm and is near beach.

Quaint getaway

My small family stayed in this charming beach house for a very special weekend where we celebrated and honored the memory of a my daughter. Our family got 'Pierpont Beach House' in 2009 and it has proved to be the great, relaxing vacation spot we dreamed of. It is our home at the beach and therefore we take pride in keeping it a charming getaway for us and you. It is a great retreat on a quiet lane, yet close to all the wonderful activities Ventura provides.

Why they chose this property

Our family loves walking and swimming at Pierpont beach- it's a beautiful natural beach with sand dunes, waves and great views of the Channel islands. The views and sunsets from our second story living room and kitchen are captivating. The location is close to everything- bike to the pier, to the harbor or downtown for dinner or a movie. Walk to the grocery store of local restaurants on Seaward Ave.

What makes this property unique

We love the 'Nantucket' style house because it's light and bright with great bedrooms, bead-board, raised ceilings, built-out closets and wood floors upstairs, gorgeous red tile downstairs. It has a great, large back yard for relaxing or having a bonfire and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows in the fire pit. Did I say there is a beach shower in the yard with HOT water! Wow...that is the best after coming back from the beach.
