Will stay again

This place was fantastic. The location was great. Located across the street to a park. Kids loved sledding. Nice backyard for a dog. Spa. Spiral staircase with a little loft the kids loved. We got a lot of use out of the pool table. Our only regret is we only stayed two nights. This will be our go to place if it’s available.

Cute little cabin

Wonderful little cabin in Big Bear, just the right size for our group of 5 with our two dogs. Only glitch was at check in because keypad didn’t work. Within 15 minutes someone came to let us in. Nice yard for the dogs and us to hang out and nice amenities inside will definitely go again to this cabin

Wonderful, spacious cabin in a unique location.

Everything was almost perfect! Lots of extras and so very close to the state park for hiking. This cabin has more amenities than any other that I have stayed in with other rental companies.

Lovely

Lovely time in big bear. My adult kids had a great time with the pool table, the hot tub and the extensive video library. Great location, great amenities, fireplace, and the loft was a great extra. Would come again!

Family time

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is not quite walking distance to the village, but is in a beautiful, quiet location. It is very close to a great hiking spot.

Great property and location

Loved this cabin for our family! Very clean, located close to all major activities, and communication with manager was excellent. Only downsides - no AC, very hot during the day, and master bed not very comfortable.

Great spot!

Very clean, close to everything. There’s a nice little hiking trail across the way, a very nice spot to take the dogs for a quick morning walk. The area is very quiet. Sits on the corner, but traffic isn’t too busy through the area. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Fun family place

Fun for the family! Good location with easy access to village. Kids liked hot tub, pool table and tons of VHS old movies. House does get super hot in the summer, but has lots of fans and cools off at night. Overall great place to stay in Big Bear.

Very nice property, lives larger than a square footage. Functional kitchen, great entertainment package, TVs ECT. Spa needed maintenance.

Great place

Nice location, close to hiking trailheads, the lake and the village. Cute well kept property. Although the house did get hot during the day, like August hot, there was always shade on the property to hang outside, either in the back yard or the front/side deck. Multiple fans helped pull in the cool air in the late afternoon evening. Played pool or watched movies at night. We all agreed we would definitely come back. Thank you for a great experience.

Awesome stay with just little minor issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the beginning of our reservation it was an great experience, easy, communication was great, when we arrived my family and I just loved it,clean, located really close to everything. I just want to address, we went up to big bear and there was snow, so our kids played it was awesome experience but when it came to drying there clothes, the dryer was broken. And when the heater is running on auto you hear a bang right after, pretty annoying when your a light sleeper. But overall the positive experience out weighs the negative.

Nice but Hot

The cabin was very cute, clean, and well appointed. It was close to restuarants, and outdoor activities like hiking and the Alpine slides. The backyard was darling and very secure for pets. I would have given the cabin a better review, but the rental company is annoying (they don't communicate internally and you'll start receiving requests for ratings before you've been there a full day) and the cabin was extremely hot during the day until about 9:00 at night, despite the fact that we used every available fan provided. It was cooler outside than inside, but the high ceilings with little to no insulation make the temperature in the cabin like that of a green house. Highly recommend this place during the spring, fall, or winter, unless you like it to be 87-90 in the house. Never used the Jacuzzi because we baked most of the day.

Great, cozy cabin- great location!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental experience was awesome! The cabin was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The kids loved the loft upstairs and the beds were really comfortable. The cabin is in a great location right down the street from Big Bear Village and numerous places to eat and play. Right across from the cabin is a beautiful large hill where they was plenty of snow for the kids to play in too! The only small issue we had was with check-in. I had received an email a few days before our stay, saying I had to check in in-person at the Turnkey office between 12-8pm that day. When I arrived, the office was closed with a sign saying they would be back at 12, but it was already 1pm and the door was locked. I called Turnkey and was given my door code to get into the cabin which was great! The representative told me someone from Turnkey would be coming to the cabin to complete the check-in process, or I could go back to the office again to do so. I went back again a few hours later and it was still closed with the same "back at 12pm" sign on the window. I went back again a couple of days later and it was again closed. I never saw anyone and the in-person check-in was never completed. In the future, if in-person check-in isn't actually required or no one will be available to personally check us in, that would have been nice to know. The email made it seem like it was required, and it would have saved me time and annoyance of going back to the office a few times for nothing. But overall, we loved our stay and would totally stay at this cabin again!

First Rental in Big Bear

Had to postpone our originally scheduled trip due to the Line Fire. Vacasa accomodated us with no problem. The host provided the access code the day of the trip, and found the home very beautiful and inviting. Would definitely visit again.

First Vacation

My family and I have never been out of town for this long and staying at this home really felt as if we were home. House was clean, small touches made it feel even more welcomed. Full functioning kitchen and backyard grill. Fully stocked kitchen. The pool table was very much enjoyed by my whole family. I appreciate that the Wi-Fi was able to support all 5 of our devices plus the three televisions that have streaming with no delays. The kids truly enjoyed being able to each have their own space. The Hot tub was clean and grill propane tank was full which we were able to enjoy. I loved that it was so close to the village shopping area as well as the Alpine Coasters. Near the home we enjoyed the hiking trail that was right across the street. We liked that there is a place to rent bikes but 3 min away. My husband and son really enjoyed their rides. We are really looking forward to planning another trip soon.

Nice place, bad experience

The cabin was nice, but communication was poor. Nobody was at the office at 4:30 PM (office hours were listed as 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in email). It took an hour of calling several phone numbers to get my door code. Once inside, I needed maintenance to fix a chirping fire alarm and light switch. Maintenance came quickly, but left without fixing anything. I unplugged the fire alarm and set it outside. Spa did not work, kitchenware was severely lacking, and countless other problems.

The Edgemoor Escape

The cabin was nice but unclean. I expect a clean cabin especially when the fee was non refundable. The place was cozy. There were items that need attention: Neither screen door closed correctly, latch on jacuzzi for holding cover on was on the ground, Kitchen cabinets and drawers were fillthy, top of refridgerator was filthy, pool table missing the #9 ball, couldn't turn off the living room ceiling fan light (could only dim to low). My husband and I liked the house and hope that the owner see's this so they can take action.
