Good size, not great
Roads driving in were a little iffy. The house was unlocked and we could never figure out how to fully lock the house. Hot tub and upstairs water heater not working until 4th day. Dishes were dirty in the dishwasher and so were the ones put away. Outside grill was also dirty. House was a lot smaller than the pictures depict.
My family had a wonderful time for our Thanksgiving week get-together. We had 8 adults and 1 child in our group for the week. We had plenty of room to spread out, but places for us to all sit together doing puzzles or playing cards. We loved the game room. Along with arcade games and pool, there was also a large scrabble board, tic-tac-toe, and connect 4 all "built in" to the game room, which the 6 year old especially enjoyed--challenged someone to play her every chance she got. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The fire pit area was great for s'mores in the evenings. We took our family photos with the beautiful river in the background. The check in process was very smooth. Communication was great. The check out process was quick and easy. We all thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful home.
This house was a great place for several families to come together and enjoy the mountains. Great location to explore the woods, enjoy the river and not too far from town.
Great stay! Location was awesome!! We enjoyed the outdoor activities. The children had a great time fishing every afternoon. Would definitely enjoy another stay!!!
We had a group of 18- siblings and cousins, all ages and everyone had the best time! Owner was super responsive and helpful. We had trouble getting the sound on movie theatre set up and she sent someone to help within 30 min. Place was big, spacious, and clean. Outdoors was beautiful. Plenty to do!
I have a group of friends that vacation together each year requiring a large house with lots of things to do. This house has it all. The house was clean and as advertised. We used every aspect of the house, the hottub, the movie room, the outdoor games, the firepit, fishing dock and the game room. No issues with any of it. The host was very responsive any time we had a question and super helpful. Highly recommend!
Hands down, this house is by far the most incredible home that we have stayed in!! Everyone loved it. We couldn’t get enough of sitting on the back patio and the river view was amazing. Our boys, aged 16, 12, 10 and 7 had a blast fishing, jumping in the river, the hot tub and they LOVED the game room. The house was very spacious and comfortable for the 11 of us. Beds were comfortable and the house is only about 10 minutes from town. We saw tons of wildlife (deer, rabbits, geese, cardinals, blue jays) every day which we loved as well.
This was our first trip to Blue Ridge and we will be back! Thank you!!
The home is perfect for a family get together! Plenty of space to spread out and relax! We dropped tubes a few minutes away at the local park and the tubed right up to the back yard where we popped out! Also spent a few of our days there in downtown Blue Ridge which is such a great little area. The Bigfoot Museum was a hit for the kids too!
The hosts are fantastic and very responsive. We recommend staying there for a large group!
Everything was just as advertised and host responded promptly to questions we had. Plenty of room for our 12. Close to town but it seemed like we were much further. This is a gorgeous property.
House, property, area was great comfortable fun. Beautiful fun property especially outdoor fire pit area and smores kit was provided along with delicious other snacks and apple cider. Beautiful house decor and soft bed sheets. It is very close to little Blue Ridge downtown with great food and fun shopping. Blue Ridge lake is very close and had a nice paved trail along with small trails going closer to the lake water. Also, a grocery store is really close which is great. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!
We had a great time at this property for a girls weekend! There was plenty of space and lots beds for a large group. We did have a problem with more than one person showering at a time due to water pressure issues and there were some areas that could have been cleaner. But overall the property is beautiful, the house is beautiful and we would definitely stay here again!
I rented this house for my 30th birthday with a group of friends and it was perfect. Plenty of space to eat together, play games, etc. The pictures looks exactly like the place! Erica was super responsive from the start and provided everything we needed. One day in and we were already talking about renting it again in the summer! Definitely one of the best birthdays I ever had.
Absolutely LOVE this property. So spacious and accommodates larger groups conformtably. The property is adequately stocked with extra items that you may need. The location is just far enough from “town” to feel secluded, but is actually just a short drive away. Erica was very responsive with any questions that I had and delivered all vital information that we might have needed in a timely manner. Already looking forward to our stay here next year.
This house!!!! Peaceful, on the water, huge living spaces, huge porches - we just loved all of it!! Lots of games, tables and swings outside, bocce ball court - ya'll really did a great job!! Thank you for the wonderful gifts you left us when we arrived!! wonderful touch! Communication was amazing - Rick came by to check on us and bring fire wood for the fire pit area - what a great trip!! thank you!!!
We were 4 couples looking for the perfect house for a Super Bowl celebration. This beautiful home checked all the boxes including a theater room with plenty of seating. We loved the river and had some luck catching trout for dinner. The close proximity to downtown Blue Ridge was great for visiting the local breweries. All In all it was the perfect weekend and Erica was the perfect host!!!

What an amazing experience! I booked this home to celebrate my birthday with friends and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The host, Erica, was absolutely amazing to work with. She went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. There were so many amenities to enjoy including fishing in the backyard, making s’mores at the fire pit, watching movies in the theater room, relaxing by the river and so much more! I can’t rave about this place enough.
7high school couples gathered for a mini reunion. The open floorplan that was big enough for ALL of us to be together was perfect. The Toccoa River setting was gorgeous and we even caught 1 fish! Loved the deck and hot tub, but the riverside dock was our favorite. When the sun went down we headed to the firepit. We brough a lot of firewood with us and used it all. Easy to get to Blue Ridge downtown. We cooked every night and slept well the entire trip. Hope to get back to this one again!
Our stay was every bit as magical as we imagined. The property was expansive and beautiful, with plenty to do for all ages. Our large group of 17 consisted of 8 children between 4 & 8; the kids had an amazing time playing in the front yard while watching geese, rolling down the hill with the river in the background, swinging, and watching movies. There was plenty of seating for all and we appreciated the extra (and much needed) paper towels, soap, tp, even trash bags! Every room had an armoire or hanging rack for our belongings. Erica responded enthusiastically to every question very quickly and made check-out a breeze. We’re looking forward to another vacation at the Toccoa River Retreat soon!
Twelve family members from Atlanta and Texas met for a relaxing reunion. The house sits on a beautiful piece of property and the river is literally at your back door. As others have said, there is plenty of room and we enjoyed all sitting together for meals at a very large dining table and there is also an extra large round breakfast table. The "Fully Loaded" game room was a big hit with both adults and children. The theater was comfortable and large, but we could only find Shrek DVD's. Bring your own and enjoy.
The house is very convenient to many activities. My family said it was "perfect" and asked if we could meet there again next year. That speaks volumes. My favorite pastime, sitting in the shade on the dock -listening to the river. PS. If there are any issues, Erica responds within minutes!
