this cabin was great! my husband and i got married here and it was everything we could’ve hoped for. Andy was very responsive and helpful for anything we needed.
This is the third year in a row we have stayed at this cabin. For the most part it meets all of our needs. Seems the largest complaint from the guys that stayed in the downstairs bedroom is that there is no heat. The entire downstairs does not seem to have a HVAC system. Also, the main couch in the living room is broken.
This place is even more beautiful in person than the listing! It’s a very spacious place and perfect for large families or groups. We had everything we needed as far as extra blankets, appliances, etc. The outside area is very peaceful and we even spotted a deer one morning. Communication with the host was excellent. The downstairs is a little cold, and the upstairs a little warm, but there was heaters and fans provided so it all worked out. The Toccoa Riverside restaurant is only 13 mins away and was a nice place for dinner. I would book this place again!
The host was amazing . Communication was great ! A great place for families with children. Beautiful area . Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was great for large families .
My family thoroughly enjoyed their time at Big Dream! The house setup was perfect and fit the entire family. The kitchen/dining space provided plenty of room for everyone to gather around the table. The Wi-Fi was a little on the slow side, but we weren't there for the Wi-Fi we were there for the family time. The fire pit was a big hit as were the games for the kiddos. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were roomy and clean, and the outside space was beautiful. Would certainly recommend and we hope to get to visit again!
Property could have been cleaned better. Sheets were dirty and we had to rewash them. Fireplace dis not work in main living area. Heat in the home was unbalanced. Some areas were cold and others hot. Overall stay was fine.

Hello!
Thank you so much for the review.
We do apologize about the fireplace and heat. Please also accept our apologies about the sheets and this has been addressed with the cleaning team.
The fireplace has been fixed as it was a broken pilot light and thanks to you letting us know about the heat in the basement we have ordered new heaters as well.
Best,
Rick
Perfect for our family reunion with ten adults and 14 kids ranging from 2 to 16! Rooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen and dining area well suited to prepping and feeding the troop, and the property was amazing! Kids played in the water for hours!

Thank you so much for the feedback Rosemary. We certainly appreciate it
We have reached out to our heating company as the pilot lights need to be repaired for the fireplaces and we have ordered some additional heaters for downstairs.
As for the water pressure that unfortunately is something our out of our control as the cabin is connected to a community well. I do apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused .
We are also ordering a new TV for downstairs based on your feedback.
We certainly are glad you were able to make memories at the cabin and we hope to see you again soon.

Tubing, campfire, S’mores, catching lightning bugs , Hot tub ,It only needs some comfortable chairs for Grandparents
Great for big groups. Plenty of space inside and out. Comfortable but remote.

About the Owner: Hi, I'm Colby the owner, Andy is my Rental Agent and will be happy to assist you in your vacation needs! I moved to Blue Ridge years ago, after traveling around the world for over a decade as a flying trapeze artists (true story!) Having grown up just down the road in Atlanta, Blue Ridge and the North GA mountains always held a special place in my heart, so I was beyond thrilled to "run away from the circus" and have the chance to make this heaven on earth my home!
I love being able to share the majesty of Blue Ridge with guests from all over the world, and hear their stories of epic family gatherings and laughter-filled groups of friends coming together for good times and adventure. We also are proud to offer the only flying trapeze school for several hundred miles, so if you're feeling a daring streak, come try a class with us!
Why they chose this property
Having seen hundreds of cabins both on and off the river during my years in Blue Ridge, I knew the first time I saw this property that it had something magical about it. Very few properties offer both river and creek frontage, and with the rustic barn and wide open level yard space (another rarity up here in the mountains), my heart was swept away. I knew that this would be a vacation heaven for countless groups for many years to come, and couldn't wait to share it with the world! The Toccoa River is the lifeblood of Blue Ridge, and once you spend a few hours here you'll feel its powerful energy coursing through you as surely as I do.
What makes this property unique
One of the only properties in all of North Georgia with both a river AND a creek! Trout fishing for the adults, play time for the kids, and the most picturesque setting you'll find anywhere for hundreds of miles!!
