The orientation of the house ensures comfortable use of the waterfront and dock shielded from the afternoon and evening sun. A gas grill is available for outdoor grilling. The dock has rod holders and a fishing light to attract fish at night. There is a public boat ramp access point in the neighborhood and you can tie up right to the dock. The location allows easy access by boat out to Offatts Bayou, Galveston Bay and beyond. From this location you can access the Strand area, East End or the Beach in less than 10 minutes by car.

The kitchen, bathroom and laundry are fully equipped with everything you need for your convenience.

The master and guest bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds with plenty of quality linens and towels provided. The third bedroom is perfect for kids with a full size bed as well as a twin bunk with full bed under.

SPECIAL NOTE:
The bunk beds are designed for kids. Weight limit on the single top bunk is 120lbs and the bottom full bunk is 150lbs. While we can accommodate 9 guests each with their own bed, the max adult occupancy is 6.

Dogs are especially welcome at Casa de Oro and we do our best to make their stay comfortable with an eating station, large dog bed and crate available.

High speed wireless internet is available both inside and outside. Smart TVs are located in the living room, master bedroom and kids room. Have to do some work? There is a desk and chair available where you can alternate between work and gazing out the window at the amazing water view. There is also an assortment of games and puzzles for the whole family.

A second full bathroom is located downstairs. It is disconnected from the main living space but it is climate controlled with an AC unit.

There is a single staircase to reach the living area on the second floor. Enjoy the incredible view from the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee. On the ground floor is a deck, patio and dock. The grill is located on the ground floor.
