This fantastic pool home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Wonderful Southwest Florida Climate. Quiet and peaceful Location, beautifully furnished.
2020 New Air Conditioning and Floor Tiles 2022 New Poolheater and Waterheater, April 2023 renovated.
Free Internet Access and WLAN in whole house.
The pool has an electric heat pump. The pool is not preheated.
The pool heating ( no additional fees) can be activated by the management upon arrival.
NEW:
Since April 2023 there is also a safe available.

Deposit $600

Outdoor - Grill: Not included - Refill propane.

Important: In the event of failure of ( for example) electric devices of any kind or power failure, the landlord and management will not grant any compensation or repayment.
A repair ( if technically possible ) of any device will be arranged as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT:
Max. 1 PET allowed.
No pets in pool allowed !!!!
600 Dollar penalty for pool- cleaning.

It is not reasonable for other guests if there is animal hair in the pool system!
If a pet was or is in the pool (it will obviously be checked), the deposit will be retained and the tenant has to leave the house immediately (without the right to a refund), as this is a breach of the house rules.
This also applies to additional pets brought later.
Pets are strictly forbidden in the bed and on the couch!!
Lehigh Acres is located in Southwest Florida, a short drive from the Gulf Coast.

This has been one of the best stays in our recent years. Martina met us on site upon arrival and showed us around. The home and pool were very clean, organized, with all the little extras you might need for any situation. The built-in water and ice refrigerator was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Second stay at Villa Hamilton

We stayed at Villa Hamilton for 3 days in 2024 and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back for a week in March 2025. We enjoyed the familiarity that the second visit gave us. The house was fresh and inviting when we arrived in the early evening and it was easy to settle in. The pool was much warmer this year as it now has a solar blanket that helps to retain the heat overnight. A definite improvement. The area was good for going to Preserves and wildlife spots, particularly for birding, and I felt secure at the property when my husband occasionally went off on his own. It was delightful to enjoy the weather which was significantly better than that in the UK. Thanks to Martina for her assistance.

Great house with pool

Enjoyed the property and would definitely stay again. Ideal for visits to wildlife preserves and state parks in the area. Property well maintained and secure. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Pool excellent for a cooling swim after a hot day although could have been a little warmer. One of the most enjoyable locations of our holiday.

It was really nice. The neighborhood was peaceful. The pool magnificent and late night swim was nice with the lights. Talking to the owner of the place was very easy and welcoming. Would definitely do another stay next year!

Winter Escape

We loved our stay in Lehigh Acres! The property was exactly as pictured and fully equipped. We enjoyed using the heated pool and lanai area daily. Publix and Walmart were approx 15 minute drive. Stores like Marshalls, TJ Max and Bealls were approx 40 minute drive. We recommend this property and would happily stay here again!

Really nice house.

We enjoyed our week at this home. It was clean, nicely updated and as advertised. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there were even a few spices to share. The grill worked great and was clean. We enjoyed the pool and lanai every day - we were lucky to have beautiful weather. Martina communicated well with us and check in was easy.

LeHigh Acres passes the test!

We had heard many stories about LeHigh Acres over the last 2 decades that were not very nice but had no actual first hand knowledge of the neighborhood. We were delighted to find a very nice area, friendly neighbors and a great rental house. Martina was always available and responsive to anything we needed as well as a pleasure to work with. The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location may seem a little far away to some but it was perfect for us. 10-15 minutes to the Franklin locks and boat ramp. The usual fare of retail stores minutes away right in LeHigh and Fort Myers access available several different ways depending upon where you intend to go in Fort Myers. And one of the BEST things about the location? Traffic is minimal. You won't see 4 lanes of solid cars until you travel to Fort Myers or Cape Coral. E. 6th street can be a little noisy and people tend to drive pretty fast as it's no stop sign, through street. Simply closing the front door alleviates this completely and the house is all about the open back sliders and the beautiful pool anyway. Other drivers where kind and respectful as I would back the boat into the driveway every night. Make sure you stop at the farm stand on Joel Road between LeHigh and Palm Beach Blvd for their fairy tale eggplant and canary melons..

Well Maintained House with Pool, So-So Neighborhood, Out There

The house and pool were in great condition and seemed well maintained. However the pool was too cold for us to use even though she said she was heating it for us. The basic house was clean, laundry clean, floors, etc. The problem was there was so much "stuff" everywhere. There is no way the drawers in the kitchen had been cleaned or the appliances or even all the dishes. There were too many! Dried/fake flowers, foyer dresser drawers full of stuff other people had handled. There was too much "stuff" everywhere for anyone to have cleaned it all before we arrived. That was a little icky for me. There was so much stuff in the kitchen cabinets I had a hard time finding a place for the things I brought and bought. I'm ok with a few staples. Salt and Pepper, Sugar, Equal. But some of the stuff in the cabinet had been there so long it was expired! Ok. You get the point. The Check In process was weird. The owner/manager? had to meet us there in order for us to check in. That requires establishing an exact time of arrival. What traveler knows exactly when they are going to arrive? So we got there early and had to waste vacation time waiting for her to arrive. And I don't want to socialize after driving for 8 hours. Give me a code. I don't need to meet you. The property description says it is "a short drive from the Gulf Coast." NOT SO! It took us about 2 hours to get to the Gulf Beaches every single time we went. Traffic is horrible! We didn't have any interaction with the property manager, other than check in, so I can't speak to that. The location/neighborhood was very iffy. We felt a little uncomfortable. From the pool you could see three neighbors. One had chickens in their yard. One just had a lot of clutter. The third had a pool and the couple listened to country music, pretty loud, day and evening. Now I know why the owner/manager put in a safe. Overall. it was cheap. You get what you pay for. If you don't have high expectations you won't be disappointed. House is in good shape. Every available space is occupied with the owners "stuff". You need patience getting anywhere in the traffic.

Property’s yard misrepresented; space shown as back yard is shared by 3 homes!!

Our entire experience at this Lehigh Acres VRBO “pet friendly” rental was a nightmare! Upon stepping out of our car to meet the property manager,there was a fresh large pile of dog poop! She told us the neighbors had 4 dogs, one a pit bull, one a Great Dane. Actually, they had 5 dogs who were in the habit of using our rental’s yard on all sides of home to do their pooping!! All this poop was not usually picked up. Our small dog was “charge at”through the cage by the Great Dane. Only one dog was ever leashed by its owner, she said the others dogs owners weren’t as respondible as she was.The dog situation was constantly horrible!! The previous renters wrote in the guestbook they were leaving early; they had a dog. 6 young adults lived next door, 50 feet from our front door, with their 5 dogs. The police visited them several times during our stay. The pool was unusable; their pool guy said their pool system had leaks in 3 parts of the pool system! The house itself was okay, minor issues with kitchen lighting electricity that were address during our stay. But between the loud racing cars down our street at nights and the police visiting our next door neighbors, it was impossible to relax let along take our dog for a walk. It made us feel like we were in prison, not daring to step out of the house. Then nightly in the local news Lehigh Acres crimes were reported, and man hunts! The sad thing is the month before we drove down, I contacted the property manager through VRBO messaging and she assured me the area of our rental was in a fine part of Lehigh Acres. Sadly, we found this was untrue. We told the property manager we did not feel safe before we had even entered the house. She said the area was just fine, but, she did say she would look for another rental with an enclosed yard as she managed 12 houses; but, she never mentioned our request for a better, safer place again. I called VRBO about the situation immediately; they said unless we could say we were in actual danger nothing could be done for us. The property manager was pleasant but we felt she was over whelmed with her responsibilities. During COVID she said the German owners of her properties had not been coming to America, so she had to handle everything. We left a few days early when we were able to secure another house. We would strongly say unless the owner enclosed his property with a fence he should not be allowed to list the house as “a pet friendly VRBO rental”.
