Pelican Watch 801 | Oceanfront + Community Pool!

Oceanfront eighth floor unit in an elevator building with great views, wireless internet and cable for your enjoyment during your stay. Located in center of island close to shopping and restaurants. This unit has fantastic views from the large deck with access from living area and master bedroom. The complex has an outdoor pool, indoor pool and grilling area.

Please note: There is a doorbell camera at the front door. Additionally, an HOA-operated security camera has been installed on the street-facing side of the building. This camera provides surveillance of the area in front of the complex.

Incredible view and beach access

This condo is excellent - my favorite parts were the view of the ocean (pelicans literally fly right by you, snag a picture!) and how close it is to the beach. It had everything we needed and made for a very enjoyable stay. The hosts were responsive and helpful whenever we reached out. One tip is that there are carts near the elevator that guests can use to help transport belongings into the building — those make a big difference! Also - we had Pleasure Island rentals setup chairs for us everyday - that’s another great idea for convenience and to reserve a great spot on the beach. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful!

This was our third trip to Carolina Beach. And by far our favorite place. Perfect location! We could tell the hosts care about their guests. The condo was comfortable, and had what we needed. There were nice touches like a drinking water faucet with filtered water and lots of drawer space. Loved staying here! We plan to visit again!

Home Away From Home

This property greatly exceeded our expectations! It provides everything and then some that you don’t think about needing until you need it. My family had amazing views from every window, plenty of room to have personal space in the rooms and plenty of space in the common areas. 10/10 will stay again! Great place

We are returning to the Pelican Watch. It's a great property. Its so convenient having personal laundry machines. The kitchen is well stocked. I love when there are basic spices and oils. It was nice to have conditioner and lotion included in the bathroom basics. Another set of kitchen towels would have been nice. The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic and we used them often even though they seem a bit dated and could use some TLC. Overall great stay. 😊 would recommend.

Fun time at the beach

Overall we had a great time here. The check in process is easy - moving in/out day was a bit of a challenge. The parking lot is across the street and offered ample parking. When loading/unloading you can pull up to the entrance and move your items in or out- be prepared for a line up as everyone is coming and going around the same check in/out time!A few people got stuck in the elevators while we were there. The building is in the older side and it seemed like those elevators had a tough time keeping up with all the traffic during the move in process. There is a private walkway to the beach which also had a rinse off station which was very convenient for leaving the sand where it belongs. The pool was nice outside- we did not use the indoor pool during our stay. The unit worked for us. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. They didn’t leave us many towels for the kitchen or bath towels for that matter but there is a washer/dryer in the unit. We had to buy more dish soap and hand soap right when we got there as they left bottles that were basically empty throughout the unit (I personally think that should be included, maybe this was an oversight by our cleaning crew- I would plan on the safe side). The cleaning crew cut some corners- we had a reservation with 4 adults and two kids and I had to make up the beds in two of the bedrooms myself when we arrived. They had the sheets lying on the bed wrapped in plastic. ( Not a huge deal)Overall, we had a great time.
