Secluded, uncrowded, dog friendly, house and beach!
Toddy Time is a traditional second tier family beach house with gorgeous views of the Gulf. It is situated on a private road and is gated with only one other house out in front. Stroll down the beach for miles hunting shells and enjoying the serenity of the uncrowded beach. The white sands are only steps away down an easy path through the dunes. Take your chairs and towels and enjoy the day under the provided cabana.
With 3 BR and 3.5 baths it sleeps up to 6 people comfortably. No neighbors to the sides makes the views outstanding. The open wrap around porch is the perfect place to sit and watch the water, listen to the surf, feel the ocean breeze, or enjoy a meal at the picnic table. It is the perfect place to disconnect, unplug and unwind.
We have very limited Internet data service as there are not many choices in this secluded area. We urge guests to conserve their Internet usage or make use of their own hotspots where possible so our limited data will last through the month's many guests.
Located near the end of Ft Morgan Rd this home is convenient to Tacky Jacks 2, Ft Morgan and the Mobile Bay Ferry. A few miles East find Kiva Dunes Golf Course and other local restaurants.

Charming house located in an absolutely perfect spot! Large front porch for gathering at night or watching a storm roll in… short walk to the beach, which was delightful! Felt like having your own private beach and the people were so very friendly. Will definitely be back; thank you for everything!!
We enjoyed our stay. The house met our expectations and was comfortable. It was only a short walk to the beach, and having the cabana was a plus. We liked having the porch, as it was a nice place to sit in the evening. We would definitely consider staying here in the future.
We loved the beach house. Ants were a problem, but they are a problem everywhere. Needs a little update but we loved it. Definitely would stay here again.
It is a simple old-school house where you can enjoy the beach with a great view and plan for the new year. I did a lot of writing thinking on the front porch. Dog friendly in the house and beach. It is a simple kitchen but functional—new windows to let in the breeze and hear the Gulf. Bring your hot spot. Cell coverage is excellent, but the property uses a hot spot for WIFI. 2 miles from the ferry, we left that way. There is a walkable restaurant and bar at the marina across the street. Golf at Kiva Dunes 6 miles. Fort Morgan historic site 2 miles. Groceries 20 miles so plan ahead.
Loved our stay! Beautiful beach house with a great view of the Gulf. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Very short walk to the beach. Dogs are allowed on this part of the beach and that was a huge plus for our family. Far away enough from the chaos of town, but close enough to partake if you'd like. We would definitely stay here again.
This was my mom, sister and I’s first trip to Gulf Shores…we’ll be back and this house is a big reason why!
It has a nice view of the ocean from the front porch and a less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The space worked perfectly with a bedroom and bath for each of us. The house is well taken care of and was clean and ready to go when we arrived, and our host was helpful and responsive.
We liked that it was away from the big crowds but close to a restaurant and a short drive from all the usual entertainment on Gulf Shores. Overall, a great place to rest and relax!
We really enjoyed our stay and how smoothly everything went. View from the second floor is beautiful. The porch was probably our favorite part of house.
This was a great location. Not right on the beach but just a couple minutes walk up a gravel path right to the beach. Not a lot of houses or condos right around us so it felt pretty private and not crowded. House was very clean. Stayed here with my husband and our two kids (14 and 10) plus one fur baby and we all had a great time.
Pros: house is clean, easy walk to beach, cabana on beach was nice to have, good place for dogs to play in water. Air conditioner worked well.
Cons: the beds are very very firm to the point of being unable to sleep with any level of comfort. I have stayed in cheap motels that have better mattresses. The living room furniture is ok but not extremely comfortable. After a fun day at the beach there is not a very comfortable place back at the house to relax. For the price point of this house I would have expected more comfortable mattresses and seating options.
Pros: The location was really nice. I liked that it was close to the fort/ferry. We were able to walk our dog to the fort each day with no crowds. Beautiful stretch of beach with no houses and dolphins playing morning and afternoon just a little way down the beach. The beach area in front of the house was uncrowded and really nice. We were able to leave our beach umbrellas up all week with no problems. If you like a large, wide, beach you won't get that here, but it was no problem for us because the swimming was easily accessible. Very dog friendly. It was wonderful being able to walk our dog on the very private road to the house. Large deck with plenty of room to store all your beach gear outside and a hose to clean. The deck has a beautiful view which we enjoyed each morning. Loved the layout of the home. Two very private bedrooms upstairs and the lower level was open with a nice kitchen and large island. I liked having the primary bedroom downstairs. The laundry area was also nice. Plenty of space for a family. Much better than a condo.
Cons: There were two cons for us. One was the mattresses were incredibly hard. It was hard to get a good night's sleep. The other was the living room furniture. It was impossible to relax on any of the furniture. None of it was comfortable enough to sit on for more than 20 mins or so, which was a problem after a long day at the beach.
I would stay again if the mattresses and living room furniture was replaced.
It is dog friendly. Nice private drive to walk your dogs up and down. Had a private drive with gate. Loved the huge porch. Perfect for eating meals & watching the sunrise/sunset. Perfect view of the water from the porch. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. The washer and dryer were inside. Nice full kitchen. Newer window units for the upstairs bdrms helped keep it nice and cool. There was no DVD players so we couldn’t watch any of the movies we brought for our kids. It did have cable but for the living room tv you had to have a roku account to sign in so we had to use the bdrm tv. The Wi-Fi was not great. We never had any signal and it only worked maybe 10% of the time. In my opinion rental properties should have high speed internet for guests. We live in a world of technology. The lack of internet kept us from being able to look up places to visit while in Fort Morgan. We stayed 8 nights / 9 days. Outside of the Wi-Fi issue it was a beautiful property with great views of the beach/water and we absolutely love Fort Morgan. This was our third trip down. I would definitely recommend this rental property. Martha helped us with the reservation. She was very friendly and great to work with. She responded quickly when we messaged her with questions.
A few places we’ve visited are Fort Morgan at the end of the road. Restaurants we love are Tacky Jacks in Fort Morgan & Gulf Shores, The Yard and Fresh Market Seafood. Lots to do in Fort Morgan and surrounding areas on top of relaxing on the beach. Highly recommend this rental!!
The property was wonderful! We all went to relax and unwind and this property surely helped with that! It was in a great location with only one other house in front of us. It had a great view of the ocean and was just steps from the beach. We loved that we were able to set up all of our stuff up on the beach on Monday and we did not have to take it down until the Friday before we left because nobody messed with any of it! The covered porch was a great gathering spot for all of us and the constant breeze made it inviting!
The property managers were very thorough and answered every question or concern we had super quick!
The only issue we had was the wi-fi. Even though we were there to have a good time together and enjoy the beach we occasionally needed wi-fi and most of the time it would not work or connect. With that said, I understand that at the beach you get what you get. I would most def recommend this place to everyone and would rent it again.
