Welcome to Paradise!!!! No street to cross to get to beach! We are 2nd tier. Walk out of the house, directly on the sand! Renovated and updated, including new furniture & flooring, January 2020. 55” TV in living room.
We are located approx 120 yards from the waters edge. Dune Walk East is a raised, 1-story duplex. 1650 sq. ft. Sleeps 12 w/queen sofa sleeper. It has two master bedrooms with private baths, the 3rd bedroom shares a large bathroom with the 4th bedroom that has two bunk beds!!! The perfect place for a family vacation or reunion. Rent both sides for a total of 8 bedrooms and 7 baths!! ( See our other listing VRBO# 739865)
You will love relaxing on the deck while the kids build sandcastles in the sugar white sand below!!!
There are 2 swimming pools and a tennis court in this gulf front community of Morgantown.
There is plenty of shopping, golf, walking trails, mini-golf, go carts and restaurants nearby. Don't feel like going out to eat? No problem...the kitchen is equipt with everything you need...or grill outside on the bbq pit and watch the beautiful sunset while relaxing your cares away!!
So, close your eyes and just imagine yourself on the balcony with the cool, gentle breeze blowing and the tranquil sounds of the ocean waves crashing!

Very happy with our stay. We did rent a golf cart for going back and forth to the beach assess points. We were traveling with our adult children and 6 month old grandson. So we may have brought more than usual to the beach each day. (Babies require a lot of stuff). Really enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

It was a nice split duplex like home. I don’t think I realized it shared a porch and stairs with another renter. The walk to the beach is doable for sure but just farther than I anticipated and views were obstructed to the beach more than I thought. It was nice, just wanted to share those few things in case it is important to other renters.

Great stay for our family.

House was great and just what we needed. We had 8 people and more than enough room with 2 beds we didn’t even use. You’re able to walk straight to the water from the house. We’re all in decent shape and had no issue but I could see some would maybe need to drive a short, less than 1/2 mile, to the beach access in Morgantown.

Great location and view of the ocean

We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean a d spacious. Loved how pet friendly the home and neighborhood was. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Beach House

My husband and I stayed for a week with 5 of our kids. The space was very homey and plenty of room for all of us. The beach was a very short walk away. We enjoyed spending time in the evening out on the deck listening to the ocean waves. I always love staying in Fort Morgan because the beaches aren’t crowed at all. There was also a pool which the kids loved! I would definitely recommend this property!

Fort Morgan Beach trip

Needs work. The air conditioning is insufficient for the house. The main area was always hot. While the back bedrooms were cool. We bought a fan to in order to spend time in the main den/kitchen. The couch was so uncomfortable no one could sit on it. The beach was great. Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores is a great place to vacation.

Great porch breeze

Loved the breeze and views from the porch. Perfect using both sides for 3 generations. Owners very responsive to a water leak and repaired in hours. Beach access over the dune is not easy to navigate. Need to be very fit to walk-in and especially if you are hauling beach gear. The community need a beach access at this end. Pool was nice because of green seaweed that comes in June.

Fort Morgan!

Location was great! So close to the beach. It is a duplex and would like a choice on side next time. Yes, there will be a next time. Lay out great for us two family's with plenty of bathrooms and beds. Construction was an inconvenience with neighboring house, but not a complaint. Owner was great with communication. Will come back and totally recommend. Fort Morgan beach was not crowded and very quiet, store down the street was visited frequently for ice and little things. Dollar General met the sand play necessities!

Great beach, okay house. No longer front row view.

Just traveled there for Labor Day weekend. Had 6 adults and 7 kids (one infant). Unfortunately there is now a house being built right in front of this house that blocks most of the ocean view. Other than that, the house is as described. Here are the positives: * Plenty of space for everyone to sleep * Place was clean and HVAC worked well * Beach was not crowded at all. We expected this being labor day weekend but we had plenty of beach for ourselves * The pools were nice and never crowded either Here are the negatives: * They are building a brand new house between this duplex and the beach. So the beach view is very obstructed * The bathrooms felt a little old but worked fine * The bed spreads were what you'd expect to find at a cheap hotel Overall we had a good time at the beach and enjoyed the house.

Floor plans of the duplex worked for us; disappointed in poorly maintained property

PROS: 1. The duplex is located back from a section of the beach that is not heavily populated. 2. The layout of the two duplex units worked for our family of 22. CONS: Both sides were poorly maintained: water stains and mildew on ceilings in the main room; towel racks missing; broken down picnic table with exposed nails; exposed nails on dry-rotted deck railing; unpatched holes in wall; broken shelves in refrigerator that were still stuffed in top cabinet, despite a previous review with same complaint; seats of woven chairs broken or sagging; no round table in one side of duplex as advertised; replacement window trim still not painted; old windows and other items from "2020 renovations" still piled under the house. I have over 20 photos of the items I am describing, but there is not an option to attach photos. I called Dana after we got to the rental to ask her to remove the picnic table with the exposed nails. She said she couldn't remove it, but she would have someone come by and hammer the nails down. No-one ever came to to this, nor did we hear back from her about this concern. We will return to this area of Fort Morgan, but we do not recommend this rental due to inaccurate description of property, unacceptable maintenance condition, and poor response from owners.

Quick and easy beach access…short walk

The home was not at the level we expected. As we drove up to house on first evening we were greeted by construction debris along the driveway and a huge pile of construction debris and trash under the staircase leading to entrance. We were told by a neighbor that debris/trash has been there for several weeks. It’s a very dangerous situation for anyone with children. The mattresses on all the beds were horrible and pillows were lumpy. The higher star review is only because of its nearness to beach.

Wonderful family trip!!

This house was just right for the 7 of us. The kids loved the long hallway to run and play. The kitchen was fully stocked if we wanted to cook. The walk to the beach wasn't bad. Some of it was on the end of the street. All the bedrooms were good and there was a bathroom for each bedroom. We would love to rent it again!

Nice house

I was a little disappointed in the house. We found clothing left over from previous guests in 3 of the bedrooms and chips on the floor. The kitchen cookware could stand to be replaced. Overall we still had a good time. The beach and access to it were very nice.

Almost perfect.

All was well as far as booking and checking in. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the property was the smell of urine, it wasn’t hit you in your face strong so I didn’t make a big fuss of it. My 2 youngest kids sleep in the bedroom with the bunk beds, the next morning they said their room smelled like pee. I went into the room and sure enough, the smell was more noticeable than when we first checked in. The remainder of our stay they slept in one the other bedroom and kept that room closed. That was the only negative thing about the property. The decorations were well appointed, walking distance to the beach was great. I would have liked for the pot and pans to be updated, I couldn’t find a pan that didn’t have the non-stick surface all scratched up.

Great relaxing vacation location!

We had a great vacation and the property met our needs. We were able to book this house at the last minute due to a cancellation of our rental with another company and were very pleased with the accommodations and the beach.

We fell in love with this house and everything it has to offer! It has the most beautiful, panoramic, unobstructed views of the sandy white beach and the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico!
