Playa Los Cerritos Beachfront Home

Casa de Playa Los Cerritos is the only single family beachfront home on popular Playa Los Cerritos beach. With ocean views from every room, the casa sleeps 6 comfortably in the 2 large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closets with king size beds in each room. One of the rooms also has a queen bed and there is a sofa bed in the living room. Both bedrooms have large sliding glass doors facing the ocean with their own covered patios. In the living room, there is a full length stacked sliding glass door facing the ocean to enjoy true indoor and outdoor living.

Swim in the ocean right out front or walk 5 minutes north along the sand to the famous Playa Los Cerritos surf point. This wide sandy beach is the only safe swimming and surfing beach in all of Baja Sur on the Pacific ocean side. It is located 45 minutes drive North of Cabo San Lucas in the town of El Pescadero which is 6 miles south of Todos Santos. It is a 70-minute drive from the Cabo Airport via the new Cabo to Todos Santos toll road (cut the drive by ~35 minutes) or a 60-minute drive from the La Paz (LAP) airport. Keep in mind the toll road from the airport bypasses Cabo so if you want to stop at Costco or Walmart you should follow directions to Cabo and avoid the Todos Santos toll road.

Ocean views from every room. The casa is the closest single family oceanfront home to the surf point of famous Playa Los Cerritos. While at the beach enjoy surf lessons (surfboards and wetsuits available for rent), boogie boarding, body surfing, stand up paddle, massages, horseback riding etc. Whale watching is very popular during the November to April migration season. Casa is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas and boogie boards for our guests enjoyment.

Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby in Cerritos, El Pescadero and a 10-minute drive north in Todos Santos.

Once booked guests gain access to hospitality information including driving directions, access instructions, recommended restaurants, coffee shops, fresh organic produce, grocery stores and where to book outdoor adventures such as a whale watching boat tour, mountain biking, and snorkeling among other outings.

The casa sits on a 1/3 acre lot; 60 feet ocean front by 180 feet. There are 1750 square feet of indoor living space with large oceanside patios covered by Palo de arco providing plenty of shade. Relax in the hammock on the patio and watch the sunset with your beverage of choice. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils for those that choose to eat in. In addition, there is a coffee maker (coffee provided), blender, and toaster.

It is recommended you rent a car to drive from the airport to the casa as well as to explore other areas like Todos Santos to enjoy some of the very good restaurants, shops and art galleries. Best to not drive at night as animals like the warmth of the highway. Most of the highway from the Cabo airport and Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos is four lanes now making the drive up the pacific coast safe, pleasant and providing spectacular views of the pacific ocean.

This house was really lovely- so close to the point break but far enough away that you had privacy. Amazing views and great windows that fully opened to the outside. I would recommend a few more beach and bath towels and a key for the backdoor so that we didn't always have to lock up the front and walk to the back. Spacious and airy we totally enjoyed our stay. Hope to return!

My husband and I and another couple stayed for a week which wasn’t long enough! The layout is perfect for entertaining, privacy, beaching, and sightseeing. King Beds were super comfy. Everything was spotless. The House was well equipped with beach toys, towels, kitchenware, bath items and cleaning supplies. I can’t think of anything to improve upon this rental. Location =A+ With a 3 mile stretch of beautiful beach. You could walk to a couple of restaurants if you didn’t feel like getting in the car. Caretaker, Tony, was very helpful.

Spacious house on the beach

We stayed at this beach house on the Playa de los Cerritos for 4 nights. The house is very large, with two full masters suites, full kitchen, and a nice porch facing the ocean. The hammock and swing were put to good use every evening watching the sunset. The caretaker of the house was available when we needed her (twice) and was very friendly. My only word of caution is that the house has a parking lot adjacent to it which is used by the public for beach access. When we were there, many local families were vacationing and they set up many tents on the beach in front of the house and played thumping house music non-stop (literally) for 48 hours. I would avoid this location during Mexican holidays (like Semana Santa) if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Best vacation ever…...

We spent the week right after New Years. The property is clean and as advertised/pictured so I won't rehash those details. The roof is not accessible…at least we never found the way up. The washer and dryer were not operating but no big deal….laundry service up the road in Todos Santos is cheap and so much nicer to have your stuff cleaned and folded while on vacation. Walking directly out onto the beach, or watching whales from the porch, or sunset happy hours……all priceless. Location, location location-and this place has it! Local food easily acquired for dining in and restaurant variety and quality in Todos Santos, from taco stands to fine dining, are abundant and excellent. My sister later commented "the best vacation of my life", especially pleased with the space and abundance of things to keep her 3 year-old occupied. Our activities were largely water focused - surfing, kayaking, fishing and swimming. I highly recommend the property and owner - very easy to work with. If I have the opportunity I will return.

Amazing view and literally right on the beach! Walk out the back gate and onto the beach. The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels soft. We had a great time. Our only regret was that we didn’t go out and explore the dirt roads in the area. Lots of little hidden restaurants, hotels etc. with old Mexico style. We didn’t want to leave this home.

Family beach trip

We enjoyed the beach time and was super fun and relaxing. Just make sure to rent a car if staying for a few days and plan to go into town multiple times. The $20 each per trip add up with local taxis.

Perfect location, home and experience

This home is located right on Cerritos beach, a few steps from the beach and ocean. We were able to boogie board, build sand castles and lounge on the beach. We had two families with children and the home fit perfectly, with two bedrooms and a pull out sleeper. We have traveled to Cerritos over the years and talked about staying on the beach, and this was exactly what we were looking for. The caretaker offered amazing service- answered our questions, offered advice and even arranged transportation to the airport for a friend. Todo santos is a short drive away where we were able to buy groceries and have dinner at a number of great restaurants. Highly reccomend!

The pictures cannot describe the beauty this house provides. We watched whales right from the house and boogie boarded endlessly. The nights were filled with beach fires and so many stars. Only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer!!

Fabulous location

Rental was right on the beach, just down a little bit from one of the only swimming locations on the peninsula. The home was so nice and to hear the surf all day was one of the most relaxing vacations our family had. Our kids loved just going out the door and playing in the sand or wading in the ocean. We could walk to a couple restaurants or drive down the road to others. We hope to return again.

We had a terrific experience with the house, weather and discovered good fun places to eat and play. You need a car with good suspension for the road and surrounding area. They closed one beach bar / restaurant and opened another closer the house. Take the long way everywhere and trust everything is a little safer and better than your first impression. This property was everything I was hoping for and more. The location is perfect. Surfing, food, and drinks are all walking distance. Perfect sunset every evening which led to drinks and great conversations setting around the fire pit. The house is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. LeeAnn was quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. Great service. A short drive north to Todos Santos is great food and shopping. A must see beach is Las Palmas. Why they chose this property

Casa is on the beach and is great for families or couples to spend quality time going on morning beach walks, swimming, boogie boarding, body surfing, surfing, SUP, etc. All water sports equipment is available to rent on the beach. Great restaurants nearby. Unwind and enjoy listening to the waves lull you to sleep.

This beach reminds me of the area where I grew up; Huntington Beach and Newport Beach in Orange County in Southern California. Long wide white sandy beach and waves that don't crash on your head but one can actually swim in the ocean and go boogie boarding, surfing, body surfing etc. Great for all ages.

What makes this property unique

Walk right out front to swim or surf or sit in the sun with an umbrella or read or... Sunsets are beautiful. Morning and sunset beachwalks are most enjoyable. Get away from it all. During whale migration season (Nov-April) you can see the whales breaching from the living room.

Whale watching, bocce ball, surfing, surf lessons, SUP, boogie boarding, body surfing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, shore fishing, panga fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, swim with whale sharks, ATV off-roading, golfing 40 minutes south in Cabo.
