We had a great visit to Luray. The home is convenient to downtown and the shops and even Luray Caverns. The house is cozy and well kept. We had an excellent stay!

Hi Melissa! Thanks so much for your kind feedback. I’m really looking forward to hosting you soon!
Charming, historic house steps from downtown Luray. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. The hot tub and outdoor space was a great feature, but unfortunately the hot tub heater was not working during our stay. The host communicated progress of the repairs effectively, but the maintenance team was unable to secure the correct part to complete the repairs before we checked out. Still, our stay was wonderful and relaxing. We would book this place again.
Our stay was great! We loved the location. We came to town to visit the Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park. This house was a convenient drive to both. Loved that we could walk to restaurants and coffee shops. House was clean and comfortable for our group.
We had a wonderful stay in Luray. We immediately fell in love with the house from the large front porch to the beautiful rooms to the craft architectural touches throughout the house. I was very touched by the unexpected extra measures taken by the host to make us feel welcome including a coffee station, games, and a fully stocked kitchen. This was my first VRBO experience and the kindness of the host made it a very positive experience.
Property was wonderful, met all of our expectations! It is lovely!!!The house is in a great location, we enjoyed walking around to explore the town.. we highly recommend Broad Porch Coffee and Cafe and Il Vesuvius Pizza.. The caverns are absolutely magnificent… Lindsey was a wonderful host, she answered all of our questions in a very timely manner..
We stayed at this house with some friends and family for a wedding. Our two families fit perfectly in the house. And we loved being truly in the center of Luray to visit everything around. The location was perfect. The house was really great. all around it was a good experience!
Our family of five stayed here over Spring Break and absolutely loved it. The house is spacious and very well stocked. The kids loved their bunk rooms and the adults had plenty of space and privacy to themselves. So much so that we ordered takeout to come back to relax a few times!
The location is convenient and walkable to many of Luray’s shops and restaurants. This is a hidden gem!
Truly a lovely experience. We stayed here the night before our wedding and it was the perfect space for getting ready! Beds were incredibly comfortable, and it really felt like home. The hot tub was clean and well kept just like the rest of the house, and the location is incredible. Each room has adjustable A/C so everyone can be comfortable. We will absolutely be returning, and will be screaming a recommendation from the rooftops that everyone should stay here at least once. Thank you, Lindsey for an unforgettable and perfect experience.

Hi Kylie! Thanks so much for your kind feedback. I’m really looking forward to hosting you soon!
We went to Luray to see the caverns and celebrate our anniversary. We loved walking the Greenway, and the caverns were beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hot tub was a plus and a great way to unwind from walking around all day. You must know that a train runs in front of the house at all hours and late into the night. Train noise and horns did not bother us, but if this will keep you up at night, just be aware. We had a great stay at this fantastic location.
I stayed at Lindsey’s place to shoot my childhood friends skyline drive elopement photos but we chose this place based on the interior design for pictures cutting cake and celebrating later that night etc. imagine our (especially MY) suprise when the house was 10xs more beautiful in person than it was online. Centrally located next to a wonderful coffee shop. Every bed was beyond comfortable. Bathrooms gorgeous: safe. And the neighbor has ponies in their backyard they let us visit :) we WILL be back!!!! Thank you so much for having us!!!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
The house itself was clean, spacious, and should have served us well. However, upon arrival, we learned the tap water was shut off and the hot tub was not working. Once the water bill was paid, the water came back on but not in time for us to shower (after hiking) before our dinner reservations. Despite maintenance efforts, the hot tub never worked, which is why we chose this place and paid more than other options in Luray. The real frustration came when I asked for a partial refund due to the non-functional hot tub. The response from the host was a definite yes. That was in late April, and it is now early June. I have contacted the host every other day for 6 weeks and have received only empty promises, but have not seen a refund. The house is great, but the management is not. The insufficient management is the sole reason for my 3 out of 5 stars.
Great house in downtown Luray! We loved hanging out on the porch, both for morning coffee and happy hour. The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. It was fun to watch the trains go by, and the whistles didn’t bother us at all. It was nice to be within walking distance to restaurants. It was great to be in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The host was very quick to respond to questions beforehand and checked in to make sure everything was going well. If you are looking for a charming but comfortable house, you’ve found it!
The most comfortable beds I have ever slept in at a VRBO! The owners did a phenomenal job making this a comfortable place for people to gather. We were 3 friends, but you could easily host a couple of families in this property. We had everything we needed from kitchen basics to bedding and bath linens. The location was close to a walk to a few sights and an easy drive to the caverns and wineries.
The house is well appointed, the owners have thoughtfully provided everything you could need and the house is charming. We loved our time here and would definitely return. Walkable into town, right on the greenway. It’s just off the main road, very convenient. The only small factors are traffic noise from that road and the nearby train crossing and fire station. There are ear plugs for use, we didn’t have issues sleeping through it but some people may. Overall, we loved the house and everything was easy and lovely.
