We were very pleased with the vacation rental. It was clean, comfortable, and included access to the river, kayaks, fire pit, and pool table to name a few We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The house was in a great location and very secluded. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were great. Mine had a window where a mirror usually is and I could look out at the wonderful view while brushing my teeth.If you plan on cooking you may want to bring your own frying pans, one was unusable and the other was very small. The only downfall of the house the week we were there was all the gnats, it was so unusually hot and still they were everywhere and you couldn't sit outside. The host at this property is very good and available

Thank you for all of that great feedback and sorry about the issue with the frying pans. We are constantly switching those out due to wear and tear at a vacation rental. We do have extra of those in storage we would have been happy to bring out. We are near a river (but not on the river) and we do get bugs. Luckily we have a pest control service plan where they will come out anytime free of charge to us. Happy to do that next time!

Lone Bear Cabin was an excellent place to stay. There were three couples on our trip and plenty of room for everyone. Mark was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed prior to and during our stay. Thank you for hosting us!

The cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures portray. Everything we needed for the perfect stay was there. The snowfall and seeing lots of deer were an added plus. We enjoyed the Skyline Drive and an afternoon at Luray Caverns. Our host was also very helpful! I definitely recommend this cabin.
