Our family (two adults, a teen, a kid, and a dog) had a lovely stay here. We very much appreciated the property being pet-friendly, as well as the walkability around the neighborhood, to the beach, and to Ashley’s Espresso Parlor! We also enjoyed the proximity to several local attractions including the Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockey Ridge State Park, Duck, and Roanoke Island. The hot tub was also a plus!Natalie’s communication was excellent - she responded promptly to all messages and was very helpful. We’re all glad this home was available for our stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. There was so much to do in the area and a lot of it was walking distance, including the beach itself. We would definitely recommend!
Convenient location, house was and clean and comfortable, owners were very responsive.
Had four teenagers with us and they loved being able to walk to the go kart/arcade/mini golf place and Dunkin Donuts at the top of the street. Would definitely stay here again!
We went to KDH for a few days over Spring Break. The house was very clean and well-equipped with anything you may need. It is in a nice neighborhood, perfect for walking. Lots of restaurants and activities very close by also!
We had a great time staying here for about a week. The house was exactly as described in the description and was very clean and the remodeling was very nice and everything felt very fresh and new. The house is a very easy walk to a couple mile path that goes right along the bay, great for walking, running or bike riding. The owner is very nice and checked in with me to make sure the experience was going well. Check in and check out we’re easy too. Very glad we decided to stay here.
My family of 5 traveled at the end of June. We found the property to be exactly as described and loved the fact that it was in a quiet neighborhood.
The check-in process started to feel tough when the door code wouldn’t work but Natalie was immediate with her response and solution. She’s a top notch, quick communicator.
The house was close to everything, had very comfortable mattresses on all beds, and we absolutely loved the hot tub. We would definitely return!
Lovely small home newly renovated inside with a wonderful carport/hottub area! Easy 5 minute walk to beach /coffee shop with direct straight access from the west side of highway with pedestrian crosswalk and traffic light! You want this if renting on west side! Listing Description was on point and owner response was great. Ideal location for obx. Lovely all around.
A perfect way to end summer vacation before a busy school year starts. The beach house was well appointed and very clean. The owners did a great job at communicating expectations, the check-in process, and the amenities available. The hot tub was serviced well and clean. The house is on a quiet street near the sound and a short walk to the beach. Great stay!
This was perfect for our family of 5 (three teen boys). We rented bikes for the week which made it super easy to get around. Loved the bay side bike path and the straight shot to the ocean beach. Mini golf & shops were also close... we loved it!

As a seasoned vacation rental owner, I have stocked our cottage with all the essentials you will need for a comfortable stay.
Grant and I live on the Outer Banks full-time with our growing family. I am in real estate sales, while Grant is a general contractor and home builder. We purchased this property in Spring, 2022 and immediately began an extensive renovation! All with you in mind! We are hands-on owners and work closely with the management company to keep our property in pristine condition.

Why they chose this property
We purchased this property in May, 2022 and took on an ambitious renovation plan. Wait until you see the BEFORE photos in our Welcome Guide. We purchased this property, just a few properties away from our home here on the Outer Banks, as an extra property for our very large extended family. Grant and I are both 1/5 children in each of our family. We both grew up vacationing here and moved permanently in 2014. We are excited to have the extra accommodating to continue to enjoy the Outer Banks with our friends and family.

This LOCATION is our absolute favorite area on the main beach. As a REALTOR, I see many homes across our barrier island. We love having the ability to walk or bike to all of our favorite shops, some listed in the description.
