DETAILS: A relaxing vacation awaits you at Vacay-Zen, a 3-bedroom, 3-bath gulf-front home with spectacular views that can accommodate nine guests. Feel the stress of daily life melt away while sitting on one of the home’s expansive decks while taking in the sights and sounds of the Gulf.

The living area is located on the second floor. Here you’ll find a contemporary kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar with seating for two, and lovely bay views from the windows above the sink.

The stylish dining area is located adjacent to the kitchen. Here you’ll find a table that seats eight, along with impressive beach and water views from the windows that surround you.

The very well-appointed living room is located just off the dining area. It comes replete with a comfortable armchair and couch, as well as a flatscreen Smart TV. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower just off the living room.

Access to an expansive deck is located just off the living area. It features several Adirondack chairs, a large table, and a propane grill, should you like to prepare your meals outside. Imagine sitting on the deck with your morning coffee while you enjoy the impressive views of the Gulf!

Guests can get some rest in one of three comfortable bedrooms situated on the first floor of the home:

There’s a king-sized bedroom that features a comfortable chair, closet space, access to the deck, and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower.

The second king-bedroom on this level boasts a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, a dresser, as well as access to the deck. This bedroom shares a hall bathroom with a shower-over-tub with the bunk room.

The bunk room on the first floor is ideal for the children in your group. Here you’ll find two twin-over-twin bunks with trundle.

For your convenience, this home has an outdoor shower and a washer and dryer.

Clean & Beautiful

We had a relaxing vacation at this home with five kids! The beautiful interior pictures are just as described. Our stay included a different grill than pictured. There is not decking steps off the front of the house like some of the pics indicate; no big deal. Deck on the side of house coming down underneath. The two large covered decks off the front of the house were incredible! When we arrived we had an amazing sandy beach. The kids had a blast riding the waves with boogie boards. The under house storage had a nice selection of boogie boards, sand toys, couple chairs. There was also a surf board and kayak for use as well! Beyond the control of the rental company, after a few days in, with high winds and double red flags, the waves washed away about 2-3 feet deep of beach sand. Broken concrete slabs and tree stumps were exposed on the beach. Upon our departure some of the sand had washed back in, but small amounts of concrete were still exposed and stumps. Drove a few miles to the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and enjoyed the bay on the last day, since the gulf side had double red flags and high winds. It was calm and peaceful. It seemed more like a lake for a Midwest comparison; light current, shallow entry and lots of splashing fun! Fishing catches: pompano, whiting, flounder, jack crevalle. Long Bill’s reasonable priced for kids meals, loved cheese pizza. Scallop Cove General Store also had reasonable priced slushies for kids! Cone Heads had yummy shrimp & grits!

Not as advertised

The home was not at all as advertised. The outdoor shower was rusted shut. The stairs to the beach had been ripped off in a semi recent storm and shoddy repairs made to make the house “safe” for rental. The stairs to the main entrance had settled and shifted to be on an uncomfortable slope and felt unsteady. The temporary safety rail at the two lower levels was plastic lattice from Home Depot. The only reason we rented on the beach was because it would be easier/safer for our 3 small kids to go to and from the house. As it was, we’d have had to take them all the way out to the street to then cut down beside the house to get to the beach. The listing, if the house was in this condition when we pulled the trigger, was deceptive at a minimum. Incredibly disappointed in the lack of transparency about the condition of this property. 0 stars is not low enough for the accuracy of the listing. The only thing that saved our annual beach trip was the understanding of a particular 360 Blue support person (Maria) who secured another property for us to move to for the week. Had she not gone to the effort, we would have turned around to drive the 6 hours back home without staying the night. Despite Maria’s efforts, our first evening at the beach was lost. A 5:00 checkin became a stressful 8:00 arrival at a home which was plenty nice, but no longer on the beach. Had we known the outcome beforehand, we certainly never would have chosen to rent either home.

Great vacation spot

Great house with beautiful ocean and bay views. Small surrounding beach but perfect amount for our family and offered excellent privacy. Easy check in and check out. Would stay here again!

Heaven on the beach

Loved the beach house, comfortable beds. You can watch the dolphins and I did see one shark! The sunsets were beautiful…very relaxing sitting on the top deck and taking walks on the beach. Lots of good seafood restaurants to enjoy. Cape San Blas is a great place to experience.
