Very pleasant and accessible, host John communicated everything we needed and responded quickly to any questions. The property was super clean, inviting, very welcoming with beautiful views. Located right in the middle of Woodland Park near town and restaurants. This was a great stay! I have stayed in another one of John's properties in the past and would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Beautiful and relaxing

Beautiful place with a gorgeous view! The house was spotless and the decor was lovely. Absolutely loved our stay. I have never stayed anywhere so well stocked, and I’ve stayed a lot of places! It had everything we wanted and then some. We loved sitting on the back porch with the picturesque mountain views and the daily deer sightings. The location ended up being perfect for us because it was just down the street from an elementary school with a great park for our 18 month old. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

This is a great location to surrounding attractions like Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Cripple Creek, 7 Falls….etc We escaped the Texas heat in summer and this place did not disappoint! This is a brand new property and immaculate. They supply a generous welcome basket and very ample appliances, seasonings and cookware for those planning to cook. Sit down restaurants and fast food is right up or down the main road as well as a Walmart. We had no issues whatsoever! Loved it! My boys enjoyed sitting on the deck around the fire pit in the evenings. Thanks John for offering such a nice place! Bravo!! Highly recommended!

Attention to detail is impeccable

We came to the Colorado Springs area for a short girls trip, our stay was PERFECT for lack of a better word! The home is beautiful, all necessities are provided, cleanliness is top notch, and John is such a great host. He is super friendly, provided suggestions of things in the area, and was super responsive anytime we had a question, answering nearly instantly. If you have a chance to stay at any of their properties I highly recommend it.. we definitely will be back in the area just to be able to stay at one of his properties again! I couldn’t recommend more

USAFA parents weekend, relaxing stay

Great location past Manitou and not too far from USAFA. The property was beautiful with comfortable beds, clean, all essentials of home with the owners smaller refinements meant a great stay. Enjoyed the firepit on the deck while overlooking Pikes Peak. Short walk to coffee and restaurants. Short drive to the market and some great activities. John and his family were great on communication and would book again.

Woodland Park cutie

This townhouse was absolutely adorable. The hosts were very gracious and easy to communicate with. We wanted a view of Piked Peak and morning, afternoon and evening. We were able to enjoy marvelling at the beauty of the peak and other surrounding mountains! Very clean, spacious and met most of our needs and desires. We were very pleasantly surprised with how comfortable we felt staying here for an entire week. We hope to stay again sometime in the future

About the host

Hosted by John

Host profile image
We’re a family who loves the Colorado mountains and the peaceful charm of Woodland Park. Hosting gives us the chance to share this beautiful area with guests from all over. When we’re not preparing the home for visitors, we enjoy golfing, spending time on the trails, and working on creative projects. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, easy, and memorable stay for every guest.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect blend of quiet mountain living and walkable convenience. The home is just a short stroll from downtown Woodland Park, where you’ll find restaurants, cafés, and local shops, yet it still feels peaceful and scenic. The mountain views, friendly community, and easy access to outdoor activities make this area an ideal place to stay and explore.

What makes this property unique

This home stands out for its combination of modern comfort, family-friendly design, and walkable access to downtown. It’s rare to find a newer build with mountain views, a private balcony with a fire pit, an EV charger, and indoor dining for up to eight—all in one place. The bunk room is perfect for families, and the garage with ice-melt driveway adds convenience during any season. It’s a mountain retreat that is both welcoming and exceptionally functional.
