Pretty clean except a little dusty in areas, but that's pretty normal for Carlsbad. The bed was very comfortable. Area rug in the living room has two corners that are curling, causing a tripping hazard. It is a cute little house conveniently located near everything. Overall a nice place to stay with friends or family.

Close to Carlsbad Caverns National Park and Guadeloupe National Park. Carlsbad is a nice town with plenty of eating and shopping options. We did make several meals and had what we needed to do that.

Quiet, clean place to rest

Instead of grabbing a hotel, we opted for a VRBO as a stopping place for the night as we traveled through town. Exactly as advertised, no issues at all.
