With room for up to 12 guests, Water Bear offers a serene escape just 5.8 miles from the Parkway, ensuring easy access to all major attractions, fishing, and hiking trails.

You are 6.3 miles from the Island, 10.4 miles from Dollywood, and 7.8 miles from the Ripken Experience. Great location in a quiet neighborhood and easy drive to the strip!

Built in 2022, Water Bear was designed for our guests to have a great time in the Smoky Mountains!

📺 Wi-Fi /Roku Television: Cabin is equipped with fast wifi and 8 Roku TV's, so byo passwords for streaming just like at home. NO cable provided.

☕️ We have a Keurig and regular drip style coffee maker.

- Starter pack of dish soap, dish tabs, bar soaps, trash bags, paper products provided (toilet paper, paper towels). You may purchase more at local stores depending on the length of your stay. Linens, towels, and pool towels are provided.

- This property features exterior cameras. These devices may be recording audio and video 24/7. They do not face into living areas, pool or hot tub.

🚫 No smoking, marijuana, or drugs allowed; $300 fine for violations
🚫 Strictly no pets allowed (except bona-fide service animals; inquire before booking)
🚫 No events, parties, or gatherings; max 12 people on the property
🔥 Fires only allowed in provided BBQ grill and outdoor fireplace.Fires of any other kind can result in immediate termination of your stay with no refund.

In order to rent this property:

Person with the platform account is the “Booking Guest.”
• Booking Guest must be 25 or older and submit government-issued ID to confirm age within 24 hours of making reservation (obscure your ID#)
• Booking Guest must sign and return the Cancellation Policy & Rental Agreement within 24 hours of making reservation
• Booking Guest must stay at the property for the entire reservation dates (booking for others is not allowed)
• Credit card must be in Booking Guest's name
In other words, ALL these must be in the SAME NAME.

Please review the cancellation policy before booking.

Within 24 hrs of booking, renter is required to sign and submit rental agreement and provide scan/photo of Government ID that matches method of payment or your booking will AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL.

If you discover an issue, we will address in a timely way. Sometimes a detail gets overlooked or a problem arises (this is a house after all, and things do break). Location:

Water Bear is just outside of Pigeon Forge. The road and driveway are 100% paved with easy access to the house. Guests rave about how close the cabin is to town but still feels in the country. Come and enjoy the solitude!

⚠️ Winter: This is a mountain community. Winter bookings are strongly encouraged to have a 4WD/AWD, or tire chains/socks and travel insurance. If bad weather affects your travel plans you will be referred to your travel insurance for refunds.

Wildlife:

There is wildlife here! Be aware that native wildlife includes bears, snakes, raccoons, skunks as well as insects that may bite or sting. We maintain a regular pest control service, but neither they nor we can guarantee you will not encounter wildlife outside or inside. Please keep doors/windows closed as much as possible to keep them out. Definitely, do not feed the bears.

Check-Out Instructions:
Check-out time is before 10:00 a.m.
Leave beds unmade and remove all food items.
Load and start the dishwasher, and ensure that sinks are empty.
Dispose of trash in the provided bear-proof containers outside.
Close and lock all windows and doors.
Clean the grill after use.
