Host was very welcoming! Responded almost immediately if not immediately to all messages! Cabin was perfect. Location was great! Creek was beautiful. Depending on traffic it was only 30-40 minutes to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. Tons to do. Would definitely want to come back even for the summer to play in the creek!
Great cabin close to Smokey Mountains. Pretty property and comfy cabin. Nice hot tub. We only stayed one night as our half was stop on our travels home. Would come back when visiting the area.
We loved staying at the cabin, it was clean and beautiful. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the white water rafting. It has a beautiful stream right out front. The hot tub was a nice touch too. Hubby would have preferred a gas grill to charcoal as he’s not used to managing charcoal, but he got the hang of it. The kitchen could use a few more dishes and pots/pans but we were able to get by with what they had for our group of 6. The beds were comfortable. The cabin is not on the top of the mountain which means it was very easy to drive to other attractions and return later without dealing with scary roads in the dark. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Despite a couple of hiccups overall this was a great stay. 25 minutes from the Big Creek/Midnight hole area, 30 min to Gatlinburg and 45 to Pigeon Forge. Sadly we did not see any bears or mountain lions on the property..but the back yard is basically the National park. Park entrance to the Cosby foothills pkwy is about a mile away. Beds were pretty comfy, I didn’t think they were hard at all. Wifi was good, cable was down, but not properties fault. Dishes could have been washed better and no dishwasher(not a big deal). Also was a bit dusty, again not a deal breaker. All in all we had a great time and would stay again. 4.25 stars
