About the host
Hosted by Virginia T. Newlin
I grew up in Connecticut and loved skiing, sledding and snow in the winter. Summer found me on or in the water swimming and boating. I have spent much of my adult life in the south and am charmed by its gracious hospitality. I like to make people feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed. Family is of utmost importance to me and it is a joy when guests enjoy multigenerational stays in our home.
Why they chose this property
Our son moved to Colorado and I fell in love with the mountains and the lifestyle. Frisco and Summit County are welcoming and beautiful. The Reserve is a lovely residential section and our home offers the best of comfort, stunning views and access to recreation, shopping and eating out. It is my hope to bring southern hospitality to our home in Frisco.
What makes this property unique
Frisco Mountain Lodge has multiple places for people to relax and enjoy each other. The rooms are spacious if everyone wants to be together or folks can relax in several living rooms. The living room on the main floor is a great place to sit by the fire, watch TV or enjoy a delicious meal in the adjacent dining room. The basement rec room is a place to play games, watch a movie and catch a snooze. Kids love Carl's Cave and parents can keep a watchful eye from the adjacent loft. The bedrooms are comfortable and welcoming.
