Relaxing Home with Private Pool convenient to several Beaches

This home has been offered by the owner/property manger since January 2010. This newly remodeled home shows pride in ownership.

The home features an open and airy floor plan with two living areas. The bright sunny family room (with 55' flat panel TV/cable) is open to a large covered outdoor living area with additional dining table/chairs and comfortable seating area over looking a beautiful pool within a private setting. The galley kitchen, newly remodeled with white shaker cabinets and quartz counter tops, is open to the family room and dining area with a view of activity in the pool and outdoor living area.

The large master bedroom is separate from the guest bedrooms for privacy and features an on-suite bathroom with modern custom tile walk-in shower, a king-size bed, loveseat and flat screen TV/cable. The guest bedrooms include one queen-size bed (with TV) and two twin-size beds. All bedrooms are newly tiled with wood plank porcelain tile. The guest bath features custom tile with shower-over-tub.

The home and furnishings were designed with relaxation, comfort and convenience in mind. Beach towels, beach chairs, and Florida snow shovels (for shark tooth and shell hunting) are on site and ready for your beach day pleasure. Bring your swimsuit and sunscreen. Florida and our vacation home await your arrival!

The location of this home is in a coastal community with the opportunity to visit several beaches in Venice, to the north in Sarasota, or to the south in Englewood.

Pool Heat is optional and available for an additional $110/week plus tax. Please inquire before or after reservation is made if you would like pool heat added to your reservation.

The ferry mentioned in some reviews is now available to residents only.

Should be an 11 out of 10! Well appointed kitchen, wonderful pool, immaculately kept house. Everything you need to enjoy the numerous local beaches. I will definitely rent this property again. Quiet neighborhood for great nights sleep and close to everything you need. Wish I could give 6 stars.

Our stay was wonderful from the moment we opened the door. The home is warm and inviting. The pool area is an oasis with palm trees making it feel secluded. Our host, Angie, was kind and generous to supply us with a lantern when the electricity went out one evening. She was quick to communicate. Being so close to beaches north and south, we would love to return. Collecting shark teeth from the beaches is fun for us.

House looks just like the pics. Had everything we needed to enjoy our week. The beaches are so close and easy to get to. Close to all the restaurants. The pool is very pretty and nice relaxing backyard.

Excellent location, close to many beaches

House worked great for 4 adults and 2 kids. Within 15 minutes of Manasota Key, North Jetty, Casperson, Nokomis, and Venice Beaches and several others close as well. The adults enjoyed the open floor plan and covered patio while the kids enjoyed the pool. Back yard/pool feels private and secluded. The everglades are also close enough for a quick day trip. Host very friendly and responded quickly to all questions leading up to the trip andduring our stay.

Week long stay

My family and I just left this house today after staying for a week and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, the house is everything and some. The house is beautiful and the pool was nice everyday. We will definitely be coming back.

Great R&R Vacation

This home/vacation was a great experience. Beaches during the day… pool in the evening and grilling on the pool deck. Beautiful home.. set up perfectly for vacationers. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. We will be back next year!

This property is by far the best place I’ve stayed in Venice! I come every summer to visit family, I will be staying here again! You don’t have to go far for anything! Shopping, going to the beaches and of course there is a pool and hot tub there!! The neighborhood is a very nice and not a lot of traffic!

Wonderful house in a great area

My family and I loved this house. Its in a great location and had everything we needed. As soon as we walked in you could smell how clean it was and it felt like home for the 12 days we was there. If we had questions, we were answered back immediately. My kids loved the pool. Its close to so many beaches and entertainment. I would definitely recommend this beautiful house to my friends and family. We can't wait to come back next year

We booked this property based on the reviews of others. Angie's home did not disappoint! Extremely clean down to the nooks and crannies in the bathrooms! The pool/hot tub were amazing, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable. We loved the private beach and found many sharks teeth and larger shells. The neighborhood felt safe as we walked every morning for exercise. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Amazing!

This is an amazing rental. My hubby and I own rental properties and bought a home in Venice but needed to work on it. The pictures do not do the back yard justice. We love the area so much but were also delighted to come back to this comfortable haven. Everything you could need or want was included. We will definitely refer this place to our family and friends when they come to visit!!

Another Perfect Vacation

This is our second year staying at this location. If anything, it was even better than last year! There were a few improvements made on an already immaculate house (new tv and furniture). The property is exactly as described and the photos don’t do it justice! The house is spotlessly cleaned upon arrival, the binder of information is very helpful, and check-in is always a breeze! It was a perfect week…we are already looking forward to booking our vacation in our “home away from home” next summer!

Great house, location, & pool/hot tub

Great stay at this house in Oct 2020. Pros: Enjoyed pool & hut tub as well as grill. Private beach in same neighborhood was very nice. Close distance to other beaches and points of interest as it’s a short drive to Sarasota area. Cons: it was warmer than we’re used to as the A/C temp control was locked. Even with ceiling fans it was warm at night. Also, beds were very firm. Overall between location, cleanliness, good communication with owner/manager, and amenities, I would probably stay here again.

Only reason I am giving location a 4 star is because I thought it was a little closer to the beach but that’s not the listers fault, I should have done a bit more research! Overall great property! Very clean and had everything you’d need! Pool was amazing especially with how hot it was! Host communicated everything before hand exactly to a T and even had a nice binder full of information to look over. Would definitely stay here again if traveling to Venice! Local beaches were amazing. Found lots of shark teeth at Caspersens! Not a bad location for a day trip to Disney either! Great rental. Highly recommend.

Very Relaxing

We went with 2 teenage girls. The hot tub and pool were amazing and the way the backyard is set up it is like your own little paradise. The beach was relaxing and very quiet. The house was comfy and very clean. There were many bonuses such as the pool floats and beach items. We enjoyed being close to everything, but it felt tucked away. The bikes were a great bonus we went riding around the neighborhood most evenings. The owners are attentive and get back quickly if you do need anything. Definitely recommend this property and will be renting again!

Venice Perfection

I’m not in the habit of leaving reviews but feel that this property deserves one. It was an 11/10. It was so nice to arrive to an immaculately clean home with a great layout and every amenity you could desire. The pool was well cared for, covered and the shaded area on the pool deck provided a lovely respite for those of us with paler complexions. Our family of five spent many hours in the pool. Angie was lovely to deal with. Any correspondence was answered immediately. The property is in a great location surrounded by beautiful beaches. We are already planning our return trip next year and have recommended the sister property, located 2 doors away, for other members of our family. This was an ideal home for a great family vacation.

The day after we entered the house the prior tenants never put their garbage out there was six bags of garbage that the raccoons got into and my husband had to clean up he decided to put the cans in the garage so it would not happen again there must of been maggets in the Container and they came into the house they must of came through a vent we killed hundreds of flies that first week. Online it said it had stainless steel appliances which it did not and the oven was a mess inside the beds were not comfortable and for all the updates they made to this house I would of changed the rusty shower bar and the rusty light fixture in the master bath

Thank you for the review Carol. I want to start by correcting a few things that seem inaccurate. 1. The trash container was empty when you arrived because it was emptied three days prior to your arrival. No one was at the house the week prior to your arrival so I took the trash to the street myself on pick up day. 2. Five days after your arrival you asked me if we had raccoons nearby because something got into the trash YOU set out and so you decided to put the trash container in the garage. You then explained how you ended up with flies in the garage and "some" got in the house. The AC duct work and "vents" are a closed system so they did not get in through a "vent." And there is no "vent" in the garage. Apparently you stood with the door open for an extended period of time to let "some" in. 3. I do not mention stainless steel appliances in any description I can see. 4. "the oven was a mess inside." Doubtful. My cleaning lady checks these things and my best friend was the last one to stay at the house. 5. "the beds were not comfortable." This is the first I have heard this. I will ask others that have stayed. 6. "rusty shower rod and light." To see rust on the light I stood on my tip toes and yes it is there on the top edge. The shower rod is obvious and I definitely see a new one of those in the immediate future. Will have to shop for a specific style since it is mounted on the tile. When I met you six days after your arrival to turn on the pool heat everything seemed great. Your review is quite a surprise.

wunderschönes Haus in privater Umgebung

Ich entscheide mich einmal auf Deutsch zu rezensieren, da bisher wenige Besucher aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum etwas geschrieben haben. Ein tolles Ferienhaus mit großzügigem Gartenbereich in einer rein privaten Wohngegend. Der Pool ist ca. 8-10 m lang (ich kann schlecht schätzen) und liegt durch viel tropische Vegetation schön versteckt vor möglichen Blicken. Das Haus ist auch innen sehr großzügig geschnitten, dazu noch liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Sowohl in der Küche (deutlich zahlreicher als in einer Grundausstattung), als auch in der Garage (für den Strandbesuch bleiben keine Wünsche offen) findet man alles, was man für seinen Urlaub benötigt. Und sollte man nicht gleich zum Einkaufen kommen, ist für den 1. Tag auch für Seife und Toilettenartikel gesorgt. Sogar Kaffee und Kaffeefilter gab es. Was ich hier besonders erwähnen möchte ist, die Sauberkeit, da ich dies wirklich in vielen Unterkünften schon anders erlebt habe. Ob vom Poolbereich über den Wohnbereich, bis zum Bad, es war alles einfach top. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war für uns in den 17 Tagen ein wirkliches zu Hause im Urlaub. Sollte man doch einmal eine Frage haben, reagiert Angie sofort. Wir hatten ja immer mal den Traum in Florida ein eigenes Häuschen zu erwerben, ganz ehrlich, so hätten wir es uns vorgestellt. Nur eins noch. Es gibt, wie in anderen Häusern in Venice, keine Möglichkeit mehr mit der Fähre zum Privatstrand zu fahren. Aber freien Strände sind nur 10 Automin.entfernt
