Welcome to the Boathouse, your Caribbean destination in the Adirondacks. Just a short 1 hour drive to Saratoga and Albany. Enjoy beautiful sunny days and sunsets over the lake, just 200 steps away. This charming 100 year old building was once a Caribbean style restaurant, but now is all yours to enjoy. So forget the hassles and danger of flying these days and come enjoy your stay at The Boathouse!

There is no doubt that you are on vacation from the minute you enter through the doors of your spacious second floor apartment, complete with Captains Quarters lounge and bar area, margarita island, and Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker. TVs in every bedroom including a 65" for movie nights in the Captain's Quarters. Accommodations include high-end memory foam mattresses and quality linens. The listing also includes the lower level area where there is a large tiki bar, a Gilligan Island themed bathroom with a rain shower, pool table area and also two half baths that are easily accessible from the backyard. You also have access to the secluded back yard with fire-pit, a covered deck with an outdoor TV and outdoor grilling area.

Awesome Time

This place was above and beyond there were 8 adults plenty of room to spread out and the yard was great for dogs and late nights hanging by fire pit and jacuzzi highly recommended The local bars and restaurants were great Short ride into Johnstown

Amazing Fun place

We had a family get together and we knew Caroga Lake is the place to be. I stumbled upon this great place which used to be a restaurant. The owner, being very quick with responses, friendly, professional and informative. We had no idea the firework show was right at this place. It was amazing. If you stay here, your whole family will be comfortable and relaxed. Don't forget to go see Karl at the marina and rent a pontoon boat for the best swimming in an amazing Lake. We had such an amazing time; we are now going back every year! You'll be happy to stay here!!

Unique property and great location

The boat house is a great property for a large family group. One portion houses the bedrooms, while there is a great living space attached (Captain's Quarters). This was wonderful for letting the children sleep while the adults enjoyed the evenings. The downstairs tiki bar was also great - we grilled outside and brought all of the meal in to the bar... again, this allowed the children to sleep. The location is excellent, by beautiful West Caroga Lake. Also - the propane tank ran out and the host happily came to replace it for us. A very fun time.
