Welcome to this beautiful condo in Oregon's best-kept secret among outdoor enthusiasts: Government Camp. In the shadow of Mt. Hood, the green scenery and lush trees can't be beaten. Hike nature trails and mountain bike along the rivers in the summer, and take in some fabulous powder to ski and snowboard on in the winter. Take advantage of the close proximity to Government Camp by walking into town to explore local eateries, arts, entertainment, and family-friendly activities.

Inside you'll find a bright interior with lots of natural light, modern decor, and an air of welcoming throughout. Enjoy watching movies on the large wall-mounted TV, playing board games at the dining table next to the fireplace, or preparing grand meals in the full kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances. The main bedroom is immaculate, comfortable, and has a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Kids will love bunking down together in their own personal space with bunk beds, comfortable furniture, vaulted ceilings, and a wall-mounted TV. (Please note that the top row of bunks is not for guest use.) At the end of the day, take a load off by sitting on the private balcony with a glass of wine, admiring the sunset, and watching the stars come out to dot the sky.

Great location and kid friendly setup!

Location was so convenient for all skiing. My 4 year old absolutely loved the bunk room and both my 1 and 4 year old could hang out in there and be comfortable with the large pillows, tv, table for activities etc. We hope to stay again in the future!

Clean and Great Location

We were a group of 6 that fit very comfortably in this condo. I was worried the space for feel crowded but it was the opposite. Great use of space and everyone was very comfortable (2 parents, 4 kids ages 16-10). The condo sits in a 3rd building that sits back from the lot (not visible from parking lot).

Nice condo

Overall we had a nice time. The condo was wonderfully renovated. There was lots of room. Location to skiing was great. It is a condo so be aware of shared walls. We heard our neighbors all day long through the entirety of our stay.

Happy Hour at Edelweiss

The condo was nicely located, clean and the beds were very comfortable. 3 issues, the tv downstairs doesn't work, the bathrooms dont have heat, and the upstairs floors creak terribly so those sleeping in the downstairs room hear it.

Comfortable , aesthetically pleasing, well equipped. Could use a full length mirror somewhere! And better lighting over downstairs bathroom mirror for putting on make up ( we were there for a wedding) And, most important a railing for the stairs

Book it!!!!

Such an incredible stay - all appliances and amenities were provided as listed. This property is within walking distance to town and very accessible to the shuttle which goes up to timberline. Customer service exceeded my expectations when I contacted them about not receiving firewood. Not only did they respond in a timely manner, but they resolved the issue and more!

Hard to Find

Maps brought us within 100 yards, but there is no pyhsical address on the building and nothing states its in Edelweiss. Clearer listing of location would be great, we thought we were looking for a newer split level condo from pics. The inside is new and great, a little tight for space with meals, and we just had 6 people... a couple more would have been really tight. Ran out of hot water on day 1, yet to get this far for day 2. Local is great, everything walkable, 1/2 hr to Timberline Lodge

Worked well for our group.

The property worked well for our group. Our group consisted of someone running a 100 mile foot race, a spouse and little child, two friends to help with the race, and grandparents to help watch the little one. The one turn off was receiving messages on two different occasions that basically blamed us for jumping from our balcony to a neighbors. In the end, it was deemed to be another property run by Vacasa, but I would hope that next time the exact property is confirmed prior to texting the renters. The location was very convenient to food, coffee, and quick groceries. The area is beautiful. The condo serves its purpose. Some items in the kitchen are kind of gross and could be replaced. The upstairs bunk room was fun for the little one to play and for the rest of us to gather and hang.

Happy Hours AKA “ The Cave””

Overall Happy Hours was comfortable and adequate, however here are a few things you need to know about the property: It’s very dark inside even with all the lights on. The kitchen lighting is poor, you’ll have to use a flashlight to see what you’re cooking on the stove. The dishes, glasses, and pans were dirty and several of the non-stick pans were pealing so bad you couldn’t use them. The TV picture and sound buffered so much that it made watching TV impossible. The building is located approximately 25 yards from highway 26 so you hear traffic noise in the unit all hours even at 4:30 am. The upstairs floor creaks so bad that it’s hard to sleep in the lower bedroom. The lower bedroom bathroom sink is so small it’s hard to use without hitting your head on the cabinet above. The downstairs living area is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and there’s not much seating unless you sit at the very large table. There is no view of the mountain as stated in the property description. The complex the unit is located in is in need of cleaning and paint and if you’re traveling with someone who has mobility issues you will have trouble getting around given the multiple stair cases between the parking lot and unit. The unit itself has a steep staircase without a handrail so getting up and down the steps is challenging. The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Government Camp. The overall decor was nice but the unit is much smaller than the pictures make it look.
