Beautiful and so comfy. We enjoyed our weekend here and didn’t leave the house once. It has everything you need. Also, highly recommend chef Dan to do a private dinner for you at the house. All around fantastic experience and we definitely plan to stay again!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. Our kids spent so much time in the heated pool enjoying the amazing views the property had to offer. The hosts were very responsive to any questions and gave us great advice for things to do in the area. This property is a true gem and I highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautifully designed, modern home. It was the perfect size for our group, with 4 spacious bedrooms offering plenty of privacy. The pool is pristine, & well-maintained. Inside, the house was spotless and stocked with all the essentials, while the open-concept kitchen and living area made it easy to spend quality time together. With seamless host communication and a luxurious feel throughout, we would absolutely recommend staying here.

Beautiful view and accommodations, comfy beds, great water pressure, tankless water heater, full washer and dryer, plenty of plates/cups/bowls. Pool was refreshing. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, play table games and still feel connected. Note the driveway is very steep and stairs are required to enter/exit. Would recommend.

We had an amazing girls' weekend at Lago Vista! The home is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The pool was wonderful, the location was great, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the spacious kitchen and living area made it easy for our group to spend time together.The only thing I wish we had known ahead of time was how steep the driveway is. Be sure you're comfortable driving down a steep incline, especially if you have multiple vehicles. It took us a little while to figure out the best way to maneuver it, but once we did, it was manageable.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this home!

The most perfect place

Excellent place to relax...

We were looking for a place to stay to decompress after a busy Formula 1 race weekend and this home fit the bill perfectly. The home itself is clean, modern and beautifully laid out. The location is very quiet and all the deer around the area were a nice surprise to see. Everything from booking to check out went extremely smoothly and we had no complaints whatsoever.

Hilltop Oasis

Lago Modern is a wonderful property that’s sure to make any stay memorable. The home sits near the top of a hill with east facing windows for gorgeous sunsets. Breathtaking vista, modern amenities, and above all, a great host. Elizabeth was responsive to all questions and prompt in her replies. She made every effort to ensure our stay at Lago Modern enjoyable. Our family had so much fun in the pool and enjoying quiet dinners on the upper terrace.

The Brickers have always loved modern architecture. After having spent multiple vacations visiting the hill country with other families and making great memories, they decided to build a dream vacation rental of their own. Rather than take the traditional approach, they engaged an award-winning architect, Murphy Mears to achieve a modern aesthetic and incorporate things they wished were in a short term rental but have never seen (such as two master bedrooms). The schematic design and site plan were developed with consideration for the specific property, topography, and views. They even used a drone to identify the best placement for the living space and upper terrace! The Brickers love Lake Travis and the City of Lago Vista which offers tranquility and access to the lake combined with the proximity to Austin, the Domain and tons of great hikes and adventures. The Brickers are thrilled to share our home with other families to make amazing memories.
