Chef Jeff Blank of Hudson's on the Bend Restaurant's beautiful rustic Santa Fe style home with a stunning view of Lake Travis.

Enjoy the lake view while lounging around the pool. The covered patio bar is well furnished for comfortable lollygagging and there is a bathroom and shower in the pool/bar area for your convenience.

This house was built for a chef by a chef with well stocked indoor and outdoor kitchens. Dinner with no dirty pots and pans, grill your steaks and veggies on the outdoor grill. Or you can make use of the indoor range if indoor cooking is more your style.

You have the choice to dine inside or outside as there are tables in both locations.

The entirety of the house facing the lakeside is floor to ceiling windows so you won't miss any sunsets.

Sleeping accommodations are for 8 people.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed. It has it's own private toilet and shower/tub room.

The family room has a sleeper sofa with a comfortable queen sized bed. This room also has a half bath.

The guest house has a queen sized bed in the bedroom and a sitting room with a queen sized sleeper sofa. The guest house rooms are separated by a full bathroom and can be closed off for privacy.

There are many common sitting areas for together time.

This is a gated property on 2 acres abundant with wildlife i.e. grey fox, armadillos, deer, skunk, raccoons, possums, owls, turkey, tortoises and croaking bullfrogs in the ponds.

The property is a compound of houses. Jeff and Sara, the owners, live in a house set apart from the rental property. Sara's brother, Gordon lives in a Tiny Home in this same area.

Rest assured the property is yours and we will not be underfoot. However, we will be accessible for any questions or needs.

This is a unique and visually stunning property for a family vacation.

This is by far my favorite rental property. It can easily keep all ages occupied, has beautiful views, and is such a fun place to cook a meal. We’ve stayed there twice now, and the second I unpack, I am at ease. Can’t wait to return again.

Our Favorite Stay

We have been looking for a place to stay on Lake Travis for our party of 6 adults - this is it. The house is arranged perfectly for privacy of adults, while at the same time the main house is perfect for gatherings. We loved the view, accommodations, and the owner's attention to us was just as needed. I recommend this stay for anyone, and we plan to come back many times.

Great location for guest to just hang out and relax.

The property met our expectations and was a great set up for our family vacation. The property has a layout that allows all guest to have there own space. The manager has the property stocked with amenities and the decor thought the property is fun and very relaxing. Look forward to our next visit.

Bachelorette Weekend

Stay was 10/10, the space was perfect and had everything + more needed for a comfortable visit. Sara and Jeff were highly responsive and communicative from the time of booking through our stay, as well as accommodating to the needs of our party and sharing their chickens' eggs from the coop (yum!). The House has such a cozy/resort feel and is only 30 minutes from Downtown.

Hudson Bend Casa was an amazing place to spend quality family time and be away from the stresses of the world. It has it all - nice pool, great lake views, fantastic cooking areas both in and out, little casita for the kids and wonderful pride in ownership. We have stayed in many VRBO's over the years and this one is at the top of the list. Sara is a delight, extremely fast to respond and really wants you to relax on your stay. We are already looking forward to our return.

Magical

Amazing, and just what we needed. We skipped the beach this year because my kids really just love the pool. Bringing the dogs was a HUGE plus. We were there for 5 days and discovered something new every day.

Beautiful resort like home!

We loved staying here! We felt like we were at a resort with the amazing home, views of the lake, swimming pool and outdoor spaces. Our host was very helpful getting everything ready for us before and during our stay. The indoor and outdoor kitchens were impressive and we enjoyed using them. The refrigerators were stocked with sodas, water, wine and beer. Every detail was perfect and thoughtfully done to make our trip fun and easy, relaxing and top quality. We would definitely stay here again!

A true gem

This property is absolutely magical. It is so much more magnificent than pictures can show. Sara is an amazing host and thinks of absolutely everything. Return visit was awesome !!

Our grown children and their spouses wanted to return to the property this summer. It was even more awesome than we remembered. We left only to restock our groceries !! This was an incredible stay for my family and I. There is not a detail left undone. The property in its entirety holds not only convenience, but character. It felt as if the house carries a lot of love and good memories. The shower with the plants and the claw foot tub was my favorite part, best vacation in years.
