CASALONA | Central • Boho, Mid-Mod Stay w/ Sunroom

Located in the heart of Sioux Falls, this cute mid-century home is conveniently located for exploring everything Sioux Falls has to offer! You will only be 2.5 miles from away from the heart of downtown as well as Falls Park and less than a mile from the shopping and restaurants the west side has to offer.

The house was built in 1954 and has a vintage charm and details that you won't find in a newer home, but has been updated for modern living.

THE SPACE:
Welcome to my home! It is beautifully designed blending mid-century, Moroccan, Japanese and Scandinavian styles together. I am an interior designer with a love for travel and I love creating spaces that are both calming and inspiring!

This is my home and my co-host (Makayla) lives in the LOWER APARTMENT separated by a door in the kitchen. You will have the main upper level completely to yourself with a separate private front door entrance! It is curated with all of my favorite things so I just ask that you treat it with respect. :)

You will find an insanely COMFORTABLE Queen memory foam MATTRESSES in each bedroom. One is the Casper mattress.

The kitchen is stocked with various breakfast items, foods, spices and cooking utensils to use as you’d like!

The living room has a TV and an Apple TV where you can access your Netflix, Hulu and other various accounts.

We are very clean and use the most NATURAL derived PRODUCTS we can find that still disinfect. As people are sensitive to artificial fragrances, I use lightly scented or unscented products. Both beds are equipped with pillow and mattress protectors underneath the linens. All products are from Grove.

The BACKYARD is private to you. We may have to access it to maintain the garden or water plants in the summer but will always make sure it's okay with you before accessing the backyard. We want you to have your privacy and enjoy your stay. We are more than happy to make other arrangements if needed!

If you'd like to have a fire, there is a pile of firewood that you can use. We do provide a lighter and starter fluid under the grill.

In late summer, there should be a beautiful flower garden outside the sunroom windows where you can enjoy viewing birds and butterflies. We are also planning to grow tomatoes and peppers for our guests to use in their dishes during their stay.

OTHER NOTES:
PETS: To continue allowing pets, we require that your pet be treated with flea & tick medication.

PET FEE: $50 flat, non-refundable
We accommodate up to three well-behaved pets per reservation, combined weight being under 150lbs. Please let us know how many pets to expect, and be honest.

Pets are not allowed on the furniture, the exception to this is if you put a blanket down to protect the furnishings. You will be responsible if anything is ruined from chewing, digging or from their nails. We have a lot of plants near or on the ground as well that can be mildly toxic to pets if ingested. This is not our responsibility. Know your pet. :)
