The FARMHOUSE on the Lembecksburg

The spacious and individually designed part of the house "Stall" is located in Stianbrag, with stunning views over the Borgsumer Marschwiesen, in a quiet side street with idyllic thatched houses. Your vacation home extends over two floors and is located in the "farmhouse on the Lembecksburg", a typical thatched-roof Frisian house with a large garden. A private garden with terrace and beach chair, and garden furniture are available here. It is a very cozy and modern equipped holiday accommodation. The house was completely renovated and modernized in 2014.

It is about 75 square meters apartment over two floors with two bedrooms. From the small entrance area with cloakroom outgoing is the large bathroom. Then you enter the large, open kitchen area with dining table and access to the terrace. The lovingly furnished, friendly living room invites you to spend relaxing hours. A wide wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with a small gallery and reading area, a large double bedroom and fitted wardrobes, as well as a small room with two single beds over the corner, which offers ideal comfort for children.

The cottage Stall is part of the farmhouse Borgsum, which also includes the house parts "barn" and "Pesel". It is suitable as a "extended family home". If all three parts of the house are rented, up to 14 people can be accommodated in the object.

The island town of Borgsum offers a country bakery and two nice restaurants, the bike rental, the historic mill and the bus station are just minutes away. The beach is easily reachable in 5 minutes by bike. Borgsum is very rural, but has a central island location. You can enjoy a wonderful view over the march from the Lembecksburg (Ringwall). You will find a spa doctor, dentist, shops and other cafes and restaurants in the island town of Nieblum, about 2 km away.

Equipment of the apartment: dishwasher, oven, stove with four hobs, coffee maker, kettle, drying rack, washing machine and dryer in the communal laundry room, parking at the house. For our smallest guests, we provide free of charge a high chair and a baby travel bed available.
Wi-Fi, satellite TV screen, radio / CD player can be used.

Nettes Haus, Küchenausstattung muss aber optimiert werden

Altes Bauernhaus, alte Bauernmöbel, das hat Stil. Aber die niedrige Raumhöhe, noch tiefer liegende Balkenunterkanten und teilweise 1,75m-Türdurchgänge nur empfehlenswert für Gäste mit Körpergröße unter 1,85m. Küche: keine Mikrowelle, scharfe kleine und große Messer beringt man besser mit; Geschirr bei 4-Personenbelegung völlig unzureichend: der Geschirrspüler muss mehrmals täglich, obwohl nur viertelvoll, laufen, weil es kein sauberes Geschirr mehr gibt; Nur 2 Rotweingläser. Fazit: Die Ausstattung muss optimiert werden.
