The house was beautiful and incredibly accommodating. Our stay was exceptionally comfortable and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Wicker Park area!
The home was very clean and in great condition ready for our stay. My friends and I had a great time in the big kitchen and the master bath was massive!!
We had a wonderful stay at Lauren and Alex’s place. The space and location was perfect for our family’s winter holidays get-together. Lots of TV’s to allow for little ones to watch kids shows, and also accommodate football fans. Great kitchen and dining spaces where everyone could gather for meals, cards, board and trivia games. Would definitely stay again!
This was such a wonderful place for our book club's getaway to the city. We had 9 people and the house had the perfect number of bedrooms/beds. We did have two people double up in a bed, and one person ended up on the bunk bed top. Everyone loved the home. The whole place was lovely, clean, and had three excellent sitting areas (we only used the two upstairs, but there was one in the basement with a "game room" type feel. The bathrooms were nice, plenty of hot water, and it was sweet that they had shampoo/conditioner there in case. Just a heads up, the garage is awesome to have, but TIGHT. We had a van and suv and it took some pretty skilled driving. The location was perfect, walkable to so many great restaurants, cafes, and shops. We visited mid-winter and still bundled up and walked everywhere. It was in the most wonderful neighborhood and we never felt unsafe in any way. Communication was excellent, thoughtful, and thorough. We truly had a wonderful time, and hope to be able to come back soon!
Check-in and check-out were super smooth. The house was beautiful, comfy, and well-equipped. Hosts had great communication and anticipated questions, which made things JJ easy on us. It’s in a great location too - lots available within walking distance and an L station about a 10 minute walk away.
House was great and perfect fit for my family in town celebrating my daughter's graduation. The only thing was that the garbage disposal made a horrible noise if it was used, so we just did not use.
Perfect spot for our Fantasy Football draft weekend
This property was perfect for our group of mid-30s guys in town for a Fantasy Football draft weekend / business school reunion. The house was even more beautiful than in the pictures and impressively outfitted with high quality appliances and tech (TVs, speakers, etc.) Great location with walkable coffee, bars, restaurants, and easy L or Lyft access to other parts of the city. Our group enjoyed the proximity of the 606 trail (one section is actually visible from the deck in the back). Plenty of large spaces to for a large group to hang out together or spread out - we never felt like we were on top of one another, even with 8 people staying. Communication with the hosts was easy and check out was super simple with very minimal check out tasks. Would definitely return to this property!
We were very happy with the property. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with kitchen supplies. There were was a Keurig coffee maker and enough pods for our group - only 4 coffee drinkers. Some nice well appreciated touches - a fresh kitchen sponge and fresh roll of paper towels. Good toilet paper and soaps. We were told there was no need to strip the beds on departure day. That was well appreciated because we had to get 3 of our kids to the airport. The location was fabulous. We were a block from an access point to the 606. We could walk to shops, restaurants and the "L". We had plenty of room to spread out. There were only 7 of us so we didn't need the bunk room or the sofa bed. It was a perfect home base of a long weekend in Chicago.
