Amazing place to stay all around! Clean, homey, lots of space and bathrooms. Our group of 7 adults were super comfortable and relaxed in this home. Close to all the attractions but not right in the middle of town. Tremendous views off decks!
This is a great location. April is a great host and has a beautiful home and property. We would like to make this an annual vacation. Juneau is a wonderful city with a rich culture and very nice people. Can't wait to go again. 5 stars for sure
Host was excellent to deal with! Glitch in our previous accommodations but host went above and beyond! The house was perfect in every way but the view was an 11/10!
The house was perfectly located with great view of the Downtown Juneau and harbor area. House was roomy with good living area. The beds in the downstairs bedrooms were not for adults and not very comfortable but were adequate for vacation. I would recommend this home to others and would stay there again. The overall trip to Juneau was spectacular and well worth the time and money.
We were looking for a large house to gather with family and friends to enjoy each others company over our daughter’s wedding weekend. I’m happy to say, this house is exactly as advertised and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
From the responsiveness of the owner to the thoughtful treats left for us, to the great layout of the home, I would highly recommend this property!
This property was super clean and very comfortable for the nine of us. A beautiful home with spectacular views. The owner was extremely nice and very helpful, answering all of our questions about Juneau. I would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in Juneau Alaska.
The house had ample space for our staff retreat including space for us to break off for smaller meetings. The host is very easy to work with and a pleasure to communicate with.
Our stay was amazing. We booked the property for a state hockey tournament. The property was in an ideal location to the ice rink and anything else you wanted to do in Juneau or Douglas.
April was extremely attentive pre/post check-in. We really appreciated it, especially asking if we needed special snacks for the kids! (Thank you!)
View is amazing! Highly recommend this property!
This home had plenty of space for everyone, so I would absolutely recommend it for a family or a group on a vacation. Juneau was easy to navigate, and this location was a great launching point for all of our amazing adventures! I can’t say enough good things about the views. Sometimes just sitting in the living room staring at the mountains and the city was all we needed. Finally, April’s communication was fantastic! From the time we booked until the moment we left, April was generous, lightning quick to respond and incredibly helpful. You’ll have a great stay here! I know we did!
This house has a beautiful view. The host is prompt at answering questions and check in is very easy. There is room for many people, as long as your party does not mind single and trundle beds. The neighborhood is very nice, and the location private. For our stay, there was a stale, perhaps old smoke odor that never left, even though the home is non-smoking. We were a bit surprised at the extensive check out list (far beyond stripping the beds), even though there is a 400 cleaning fee associated with the stay. We had a nice stay, but be sure to block off an hour or two at check out to wipe all the counters, sweep all the floors, strip the beds etc.
April was a joy to work with. Responsive and proactive, she reached out to us ahead of time to see if there was anything specific we needed. She even had a special treat for the girls. She made great suggestions for hikes, shops and restaurants she recommended. We loved the layout of the home, and the views were phenomenal. Only a 5min drive to downtown Juneau, we watched the cruise ships from across the water and had spectacular weather. We were able to walk to the Dan Moller trailhead from the house, what a great hike! Also a 25 min drive away was the Mendenhall glacier and trails. We will be back!
This was the perfect place for us. Our large group had plenty of space to spread out. We were lucky to have a clear night and saw the northern lights overlooking downtown Juneau beautiful from the deck. Overall, 10 out of 10.
