The place is very nice, super clean. It is very close to a public bus stop and close to the Mendenhall glacier. The house is equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Great stay with really good hosts! Eric recommended a trail just up the road from the house that was amazing. The house itself was clean and spacious - perfect for our Juneau adventure!

This apartment is perfect for a family. The host has done a wonderful job setting it up and there was nothing missing! Even a Lego set to keep the kids quiet. The location is great for sight seeing, hiking or if you’re going to a swim meet. The place is much larger than I thought and the set up was perfect for 2 kids and adults.

Benefits:•The property is located near Mendenhall Glacier, ideal for sightseeing.•The owner was prompt about responding to inquiries.•The property was very clean, although I could've used a broom to sweep up pine needles. •There are lots of amenities: full-size washer/dryer, fridge, stove, toaster oven, etc.Drawbacks•The only bathroom is tied to the bedroom, which isn't convenient for anyone sleeping in the living room. •It was difficult to regulate the heat pump system. Although the bedroom temp was good, the living room was either too cold or too warm.•The outside light didn't work, so getting in after dark was tricky.•The front door mat is cloth material, so it got matted with mud and needles that were dragged into the house and no way to clean them up.•This is clearly a single home conversion. No insulation to prevent noise from the long-term tenants upstairs from reaching the bedroom occupant. Walking, talking, and laughing aren't what you need after s long day and 4-hr time change. This property is best suited to a family, not un related coworkers. Would recommend this property/owner to others but with accuracy so expectations are set properly.
