Beachside Ormond Beach Home, Biketoberfest and winter Specials,Wi-Fi, Spotless

Just a 3 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida with surfing, fishing for Pompano, shelling and pristine soft sand. So close you can hear the waves. A few blocks west is the Intercoastal Waterway, with kayaking and fishing. Within a few miles are two state parks with canoeing, kayaking, bike paths and hiking. Our street is in a quiet neighborhood but close to town, shopping , restaurants and entertainment.

Spacious, freshly painted and spotless 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom family home with large rooms – living room, family room with fireplace, separate dining room, eat-in kitchen, 25 X40 sun porch with glass doors and screens, huge two car garage and large yard with shade trees. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and family room. The Master bedroom, with a recently updated bathroom has a king-size bed. One of the other bedrooms has a queen-size bed and the other has two twin beds. The kitchen is totally renovated with granite counter tops, maple cabinets and is fully equipped, and the linens are new and of the best quality. There are two flat screen TVs , two DVD players, and access to the internet with WIFI or broadband cable.

Just south lies Daytona Beach ( 8 miles) and the world famous Speedway. Orlando is 40 minutes away. St. Augustine, a beautifully preserved historic town is just 40 minutes north up A1A with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean the whole way.

wonderful vacation home

This home is very comfortable and the best prepared and equipped home I've ever rented. Katherine was helpful and responsive, although we had no issues to discuss with her. I would like to stay there again.

The house is spacious and well cared for. It is quiet and has a big yard and garage, and is close to good restaurants. It is a few hundred yards from the beautiful beach- never crowded with wide sand and super clean.

AMAZING

SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Truly, the house was ENORMOUS. So much space for my friends and I to spread out. It was impeccably clean, and so close to the beach. Literally a 5 min walk! And it was treated like a hotel which was so nice. While we did do our best to tidy before leaving, it wasn't expected which made the check out process so much less stressful. Thank you for a truly amazing stay!

Perfect for two grannies

My co-grandmother and I were in town for our grandbaby's 1st birthday. I also was able to host my other grandson (age 3). This home was extremely roomy, clean, conveniently located and ever-so-kid friendly. Additionally, we had constant communication with our host. She was exceptionally responsive. This home made our trip perfect.

We had a great stay at Katherine’s house. She was very easy to communicate with and the house was big enough that we could spread out. It had everything we needed. Will definitely be back next year!

Best place ever

This home was the best kept, cleanest, and stocked home we have ever stayed at. We typical take everything we need but Kathy furnished everything right down to Free and Clear washing detergent. All the spices you could ever need. The place was spotless; there was no need to clean when we got there, as we often do. There were so many great restaurants with in 2 miles of the house. We will defiantly be staying there again. Kathy thanks again for everything, Thomas

Spacious and comfortable

My grandchildren and myself enjoyed our stay. The property was well kept and very clean . Also the kitchen was well equipped. Close to everything we needed. And of course the beach was great and close. Really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house with a wonderful glass enclosed huge screened porch. Couldn’t have been any better.

Fair Rental for Price

Although the home was very clean, the interior and most of the furnishings were outdated. We also had trouble operating the TVs because we didn't understand how the remotes worked. The home is not located close to the beach, as advertised.

Rainy Daytona 500

Came to town for the race and it rained the whole time. House is in great location not too close or too far from track. We had a nice time even though the rain delayed the race. House was exactly as described and the owner checked on us a few times to make sure we were good. Will consider this one again next trip to Daytona.

Pleasant Stay

The home was a perfect size. Large rooms, love the Florida “Sun” Room! Having a garage to park in was a huge plus. Good home for family’s with small children. Kids dishes, table and chairs, beach toys, etc. Cleaning could have been better, like on coffee table and floor in sun room. Master bath shower floor looked dirty in the corners and small area of mildew on shower curtain. All simple fixes! None of these caused major issues and we had a great time!

Nice House, Great Location

When we arrived for check-in, we had a bit of a hiccup due to an inadvertent double booking on the property for the first night, but Catherine was great in getting that worked out to put us in an adjacent property for the first evening. Having to move in and unpack twice was a bit of an inconvenience, But once we got all that worked out, our stay was great. Everything in the house is as advertised and it’s a terrific location tucked in between Flagler Beach and Daytona Beach with easy access to Saint Augustine and Cocoa Beach as well. Nothing is very far away. The only improvement I would suggest is an upgrade to the furniture in the family room where the main television is. it has a couch and a loveseat that are very old and uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. We had three motorcycles with us, so it was great having access to a full-size garage to keep them overnight, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Overall I would definitely stay in this rental property again.

We live full time in Miami but chose Ormond Beach as a second home because it is so tranquil and beautiful. The beach is wide and clean and never crowded. There are turtle hatchings in the summer- a real thrill to watch.
