Lovely 3 bedroom cottage with garden & sea view, 10 min drive from Chania center

My name is Giorgos (George!) Chavredakis and I am 30 years old. I work in a tourism sector in a car rental company and every weekend I try to visit a new beach of Crete. This is the house where I grew up. This year, I decided to start hosting guests to my family's cottage.

I will be there at your check-in and check-out, and I will try with my place and my recommendations to help you spend your time in Chania like a local would do.

The cottage is located inside the St. Matthew reserved forest area. Locals consider this area as the most premium place to live in Chania. It has a marvelous view of the city, the sunset and the sea. In the meantime, you enjoy the peace, the light breeze, and the green of the forest that surrounds you.

The location is ideal since it is less than a 10 minutes drive to the Airport and Chania Center. The closest family beaches are about 10 minutes drive as well e.g. Kalathas beach, Agios Onoufrios beach. Also, at about 20 minutes from the house is the famous Seitan Limania beach, Chania's hidden gem.

At about 5 - 10 minutes (700 meters) from the house there is a local bakery, a small 24/7 supermarket, a grocery store and a fast food restaurant. At about 15 minutes walking or 2 minutes drive (1300 meters), there is Venizelos tombs where you can have amazing views of Chania city. Also, at the nearby cafeterias, you can have breakfast or enjoy an early evening drink while enjoying the sea and city view.

The cottage is a 2-floor 200 sqm house.

The ground floor (100 square meters):

The ground floor has a kitchen and a classic styled dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook any meal you want e.g. an oven, a toaster, a coffee maker and all the necessary utelnsils you may need. Also, there are the 2 bedrooms that each have 2 single beds and a balcony. Finally, right outside from the bedrooms, there is the bathroom where it features a bathtub and a washer.

The first floor (100 square meters):

The first floor has a classic styled living room with 2 large balconies where you can have dinner or a breakfast and enjoy the beautiful view of sea, sunset, St. Matthew forest and Chania city.
Also, it features a bedroom with a large double bed and an adjacent bathroom with a bathtub.

The garden area:

The garden area is full of groomed olive trees and a large BBQ where you can prepare your meals. Also, there is a sun lounger, an umbrella and a table with chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast. Finally, there is a hammock where you can relax and read a book or have an afternoon nap.
