The villa is located in a charming residential hamlet on the outskirts of the village of "Kontomari", quiet and relaxing surrounded by olive trees. Its geographical location allows you to access very quickly renowned sites. The house is located about 1.5 km from the beaches and 15 km from Chania, a city full of Mediterranean colors and full of history,
Villa built in luxurious stones with its 50cm thick walls.
A driveway, lined with oleanders, independent and paved leads to the house, it is possible to park cars.
A stone staircase leads us to the independent villa on a closed ground. The pool is waiting for you to cool off after an excursion.
The Villa includes a ground floor which serves a first room having direct access to the pool, furnished with a bed 160 and 2 bedside tables, cupboards and wardrobe.
The second bedroom overlooking the garden consists of a bed of 160 and a bedside, closets and wardrobe.
A bathroom is located on the same level, with a walk-in shower and a toilet.
The floor (particularity of the Cretan house) includes a kitchen open to the dining room (sea view) living room overlooking a terrace (sea view). 1 wc.
The rooms are equipped with individual and independent air conditioning.
The beach is 5 minutes, it is good to bask, to taste the fish and specialties, the famous Cretan diet! and finally be able to admire the sea on the terraces of its restaurants. Traders always welcome you warmly.
The city of Platanias offers you many guided tours of the region. It's nice to hang out in the shops and have good evenings at local restaurants.
The lively city of Chania (Chania) is located only 15 kms; The island of Balos, the different circuits of excursions ......

Perfect location

Just amazing. Wonderful stonehouse with pool and lot’s of space outside to relax. Everything you could wish for a relaxed holidays. Thank you so much Sylvie for the hospitality and the very friendly communication straight from the beginning to the end. Can fully recommend.

We stayed in this villa for a week and it was just perfect. The layout with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs seemed odd but in fact was ideal as it meant you could come indoors from the pool or a day at the beach, go straight to the bathroom and bedroom to shower etc without trailing upstairs. The balcony off the living room had wonderful views. There is a highway that passes but it's not too close and we didn't really notice the traffic noise. The outside area was clean and tidy with very new looking loungers and sun umbrellas. In addition it felt very safe with the lockable gate at the entrance. In all a perfect villa and host that exceeded our expectations. I'd say a car was probably necessary as it was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main road which is partly unlit.

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt. Haus und Pool waren wie beschrieben, alles war sauber und intakt. Das Haus selbst war stilvoll und trotzdem praktisch eingerichtet. Der einzige Makel ist die Geräuschkulisse. Wenn der Wind ungünstig steht, hört man die Autobahn ziemlich deutlich. alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben und rundum wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren im August 2025 im Haus von Sylvie. Es war wirklich toll! Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist einfach super. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Der Pool ist genauso toll wie die Lage vom Haus. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wunderschöne Villa

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Der Check-In erfolgt kontaktlos und unkompliziert. Die Villa und das Grundstück sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, auch wenn man den Highway in der Nähe leise hören kann. Bis zum Strand läuft man ca. 30 Minuten. Wir würden die Villa jeder Zeit weiterempfehlen.

Posizione e struttura molto valida

La posizione della villa è ottima per poter girare in tutta la zona Ovest di Creta. in ogni caso in 2h si arriva a Candia/Heraklion. La villa si trova a 30 minuti dall'aeroporto di Chania/La Canea. In zona sulla via principale ci sono molti mini market anche di "marca". Bella la vista verso il mare e la penisola antistante a nord ovest. La villa è in posizione silenziosa e riservata. E' disposta su 2 piani: piano superiore zona giorno, piano terra, zona notte. La piscina è al sole per tutto il giorno, quindi l’acqua risulta calda. Il referente locale che gestisce la villa, è sempre stato in contatto con noi e ci ha supportato per ogni necessità in modo rapido ed efficiente. La macchina si può parcheggiare all’interno della proprietà della villa, risalendo il vialetto d’ingresso. In generale tutto ok, tutto come da inserzione.

We love this villa!

Everything was great! We loved the pool and patio area. The living area was lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed. We only had one small concern, the highway that runs near this home made a little more noice then we would have liked but it wouldn’t have stopped us from renting here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Härlig miljö med hav och berg och fantastisk uteplats med pool.

Huset och omgivningarna är fantastiska. Poolen över förväntan - både större och bättre än jag tänkt. Det blev riktigt sköna poolhängsdagar! Balkongen åt vi frukost på varje morgon, med utsikt över havet och olivlundarna. Längtar tillbaka. Hela huset var rent och snyggt, både inne och ute.

So good !

A really lovely villa that provided us with a delightful holiday in August 2020. Spacious, clean, well equipped. Located a brisk 20 minute from the beach but with lovely wide ranging views over the bay and with a lovely pool . Only criticisms my wife could come up with were ; need better chefs knives dnd new chopping board ! Oh and if you get the wrong neighbours there could be some noise. But overall a terrific place

Beautiful view

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in this charming house. Everything was as described. Christina the caretaker was very nice and helpful. The view over the bay of Chania is amazing. Near the house are several grocery shops and small supermarkets with everything you need. Chania with it's venetian harbour is 20 minutes by car and a must see. Thank you for this safe place during COVID-19.

Tolle Villa in toller Lage

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dieser Villa verlebt. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt. Der Pool ist erfrischend und der Blick in die Berge und auf das Meer sehr schön. Die Bilder vermitteln einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die Villa ist sehr gut gelegen, um den Osten Kretas zu erkunden. Bis in den Süden sind es ca. 1,5 Stunden mit dem Auto. Die wunderschöne Stadt Chania ist in 25 Minuten erreicht. Bis zu den Stränden und Orten an der Küstenstrasse (old road) sind es 5-10 min. Dort bekommt man alles für den Alltag (Supermärkte, Bäcker, Restaurants...). Auch Mitte Oktober war es sommerlich warm mit Temperaturen um die 25 Grad. Das Baden im Meer war sehr angenehm, die Anzahl der Besucher ebenfalls. Vielen Dank an Christina, die uns mit toller Wegbeschreibung sicher ans Ziel gelotst hat,bei später Anreise mit einem Starterpaket vorgesorgt hatte und für uns da war. Fazit, tolle Villa in toller Lage für alle, die gern individuell unterwegs sind. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Ein traumhafter Urlaub!

Ein wunderschönes, ruhig gelegenes, sehr gut ausgestattetes und gepflegtes Ferienhaus, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde. Alle notwendigen Dinge sind vorhanden und es hat uns während des gesamten Urlaubes an nichts gefehlt. Man kann hier die Seele baumeln lassen und absolut entspannte Tage verbringen. Der Meerblick und die Sonnenuntergänge sind atemberaubend. Die nächste Ortschaft ist schnell zu erreichen und man bekommt dort alle Dinge, die man benötigt. Vielen Dank an die Vermieterin Mme Manier, dass wir in ihrer Villa zu Gast sein durften. Und besonderen Dank an Christina, die uns so herzlich und mit einem Starterpaket an Lebensmitteln und Getränken empfangen hat, uns bei allen Fragen mit Rat und Tat beiseite stand und sich so liebevoll um alles kümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fabuleux!!!

Superbe villa bien située et avec vue magnifique sur la mer à tous les étages. Vous pourrez jouir des fabuleux couchers de soleil tous les soirs au bord de la piscine ou en sirotant votre cocktail sur une des nombreuses terrasses. La villa est "neuve" et fournit tout ce que l'on peut désirer pour un séjour réussi en terme de prestations. Située sur les hauteurs et un peu à l'écart des touristes, elle permet de profiter en toute sérénité tout en gardant les commerces et restaurants à proximité. La piscine est toujours à bonne température car bien exposée. Pour être clair, nous y retournerions sans hésiter! C'était génial!!!
