Beautifully maintained home. Many of the amenities exceed what is the norm. Very impressive. Huge master. Cozy bedrooms upstairs, great living room/parlor. High end washer/dryer. Location is very convenient but close enough to town that a light sleeper would hear the train. Also, the tubs are great for soaking, but in a few years, I likely would not be able to get into them (70's). Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quality stay.
We stayed in Benson as a jumping off point for Tombstone, Bisbee, Whitewater Draw and Dragoon.Stacy's home is super comfortable and well stocked. It's in a great location for seeing many of the sights in this area. Stacy was also very responsive when we had questions.Highly recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely retreat. Stacy's home is cozy, comfortable, and clean, with attention given to every detail. We especially enjoyed the narure photographs and natural artifacts decorating the house. Watching the birds visiting the feeders in the garden while we drank our morning coffee/tea was a special treat.
We had an amazing time. Great local food, horsback riding half an hour away. And when we weren't out adventuring, our whole family was able to be together and connect. We will definitely try tonstay here next trip we make out. 5 stars across the board
Stacy‘s home was the perfect retreat in Benson and exactly as advertised. It was in spotless condition had wonderful exposure and beautiful birds in the garden. We would definitely recommend it and definitely stay here again.
What a great place! The amenities were as listed, the house was very clean and inviting, and the location was great to get to Tombstone for the day. The photos do not do it justice. We had a great stay.
A wonderful spot to stay with our dog. The yard was very large and fully fenced. It was in close proximity to many state parks, wineries, caves, etc. We enjoyed our month long stay in this charming old house. Very well kept.
My mom and I came from Texas to host a baby shower and stayed at the Bird House—it was the perfect getaway. The home is beautifully decorated, solidly built, and very peaceful. My mom, who keeps odd hours and is hard of hearing, loved it, and I couldn’t hear her at all from upstairs! When she accidentally locked herself out, Stacy responded right away and was so kind and helpful. One thing to note: my 6’4” husband hit his head on the ceiling going up the stairs—charming old house, but not built with tall folks in mind!
This property felt just like home. Handled our family group of 7 perfectly. Luckily we had no access issues because the claw foot tubs make it so lovely!! The host has created a great retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and easy access to sightseeing in the area.
We stayed with our extended family for a long weekend to attend a memorial service. Everything was as expected based on the listing. The house was clean and well stocked with all the essentials and more! Would definitely stay again!!
Our family stayed 3 nights along with our two dogs. The property was amazing. The house was very spacious with an old time charm. Outside was just as described - a birds paradise and our dogs loved the big yard. Stacy was very easy to communicate with and her thoughtfulness for guests was quite evident. Would definitely recommend!
We had a relaxing stay! What a lovely comfortable home!! There is so much attention to detail and Stacy went to so much effort to make us feel at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this beautiful home!! And I’m picky!! Bed is so comfy, backyard is an oasis and decor is so quaint. ☺️🌼
Very relaxing, extremely clean and comfortable! I have stayed all over the world, and this has become one of my top five favorites! I am very excited to come back ,in January, and bring my family next time. Everything was very organized and easy to find, the outdoors space was a dream! We loved watching the birds, and sitting in the park like porch areas.
Our hostess was very prompt Had answering any of our questions, and generous! Very easy to walk around, because it was in the center of Benson Arizona. People are very kind and friendly. It was extremely easy to check in and out also! I am very excited to come back, and I have barely left🌺
Beautifully restored home—woodwork and antiques and lovely artwork of birds and landscapes of the area. Decor hit just the right note to be comfortable without being fussy. Too many rentals are corporate bland. This was, instead, a welcoming home to us for two weeks. Kitchen particularly well equipped. Our dogs loved the large fenced yard. Lots to explore if you like the mountain and range desert but close enough for trips to Tucson. I can’t think of one thing I would change!
If a family or couple intends to sightsee over the southern Arizona region this is a great place to stay! From Bisbee to Tucson, you can cover it in day-trips from this home. All was clean, comfortable, well-equipped and quiet! While I think we hit the only hurricane ever recorded in Arizona our stay was wonderful !. Stacy was quick to communicate all we needed to know. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were spacious with comfortable chairs/sofa. As we had cold weather (snow on two days!),I also must say that the heating system kept us nicely warm. A very nice home with nice furnishings! Thank you for your hospitality, Stacy!
p.s., front-door entry would top-off this special place :)
The home is large! Appointed wonderfully with pillows and throws throughout. Kitchen is equipped with everything you will need: spices, flour, oils, butter, salt, pepper, (really everything). The cookware is great but the cast iron skillets are fantastic! Had to borrow a can opener from the neighbor but I’m sure that will be fixed immediately! The towels are thick and absorbent. Super comfy beds! Only one TV encourages games and family interaction! The bathrooms are beautiful! Note: Us older folks had a bit of a hard time without a walk or a place to set things.
Location, location, location! Kartchner Caverns are about 15 min. If you go, make sure you have reservations before your trip as they sell out fast, They are worth the trip! Absolutely gorgeous and wonderfully informed guides. Gannon’s Gultch Old West movie set is about 30 min. Of course, Tombstone is never a disappointment!
After your days out exploring you will have this fab home to come back to! We would happily re-book!
